Abstract

PMRI importance of implementation in an effort to achieve the goal of learning mathematics in elementary school run should be, but the reality is very different when the researchers looked at the lecture in the classroom, many teachers or prospective teachers who have difficulties in learning design using a context that is around the students. Cultivating local knowledge as a source of learning in basic education became one of the alternatives in realizing the role of basic education and to build the nation's independence in this era of modernization. Local wisdom instilled early on became a strong foundation to continue to maintain local wisdom itself. All forms of local wisdom can be used as a learning resource in the implementation of learning in the classroom. Teachers also do not design learning that trains students to find a formula of waking up the space. Though many contexts that can be used, for example, carving patterns on the fabric songket, the longhouse, and a dance area. It is study referencies; this study will produce a learning device geometry for elementary school students in the city of Padang. Until now, there has been no design mathematics in elementary geometry are valid on the material in SD. Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan analisis kritis yang didasarkan pada beberapa perspektif filosofis, humanis, dan konsep pendidikan seni musik. Pendidik sebagai fasilitator dalam perolehan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku positif dengan memperhatikan keunikan dan karakter masing-masing peserta didik dengan memberikan pengalaman berekspresi, berapresiasi, berkreasi, membentuk harmonisasi, dan keindahan, dalam rangka menumbuhkan kesadaran, kemandirian, dan tanggung jawab yang tinggi. Pendidikan seni musik humanis dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh agar peserta didik dapat memahami dan mengambil makna dari belajar bermusik. Untuk dapat melakukan tugas tersebut pendidik seni musik humanis dapat mengandalkan perasaan cinta.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing the improvement of students’ learning outcome by using cooperative learning model with Numbered Head Together type at SD Kartika 1-11 Padang. This research used both qualitative and quantitative approaches.The subject of this research was a teacher as researcher, and students. The result of the research revealed that there was an improvement in civic education learning based on the evaluation of lesson plan, the observation of the students and teacher’s activities, and the students’ learning outcome. It was found that the students’ learning outcome in cycle I was 70.38, and it was improved to 87.38 in cycle II.

Abstract

This research is motivated by Social Studies learning by Elementary School students in Padang. At that time, learning process is not so attractive by the students because it was centered on the teacher, and the students were merely act as listeners. Teachers more often lecturing students with a little question and answer session, and teachers rarely use certain learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome of the Social Studies students by using Group Investigation (GI) type of the Cooperative Learning Model in the Primary School. This model provides the opportunity for the students to search and find information from a variety of sources inside and outside the classroom. The type of this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects were teachers and 25 students of class V. The research procedures includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The implementation consists of two cycles. If in the cycle I we have not gained the maximum result, then proceed to the cycle II. Each cycle consists of two stages of learning. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle has increased in the second cycle with excellent qualifications. From the learning plans assesment result, in the first cycle was found 75%, and increased in the second cycle into 96.42%. From the observation in teacher aspect, an increase of 71.63% to 93.18% in the second cycle, while the aspect of students also increased from 71.50% to 93.18% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes by using the GI type of the Cooperative Learning Model in Social Sdudies learning is also increased, namely the class average value of 72.21 in the first cycle increased to 88 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This was a developmental research which was intended to develop valid, practical, and effective DRTA strategy-oriented reading instructional materials in class VI of Elementary School which involve syllabus, Lesson Plan, and learning materials. The instructional materials were developed by using 4-D model (Defining, Designing, Developing, and Disseminating). The disseminating phase, however, was done in a limited scale. The design was validated by three experts and three educational practitioners. To see the practicality and the effectiveness of the materials developed, it then was tried out limitedly to the students in class VI of SD Negeri 10 Lembah Melintang. Based on the result of the research, it was concluded that the DRTA strategy-oriented reading instructional materials developed had been valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Prospective teachers have to be educated by means of technical with manage learning to be the best. Knowledge is very required, but prospective teachers must be leant the character and personality. Character is integrated with the curriculum being taught. Teachers are in the lead actor and director of learning. The role of teachers is vital in learning. Prospective teachers must be set from the beginning, start learning content, and output as a blueprint. Learning Materials of Natural Sciences Elementary School isthat must be taken student Elementary School Teacher at the University of Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta. Course expected characters  teachers can be competent, and ready to be placed anywhere. Any difficult situation in teaching always antusiasm to changeable. Not only ready, but also the professionalism in this profession teachers who have a mandate to educate the children of the nation. Active learning methods applied in The elementary school science teaching expected to improve the character of the ideal candidate in elementary school teacher who is always sensitive, active, responsive, and interactive with the changing times.

Abstract

Teachers have important roles to accomplish the educational goals, and they are expected to show a high level of performance. Performance of the teachers’ was presumably influenced by various factors, such as creativity of teachers and principal supervision. Based on a preliminary field observation, the researcher noticed that High School teachers’ profesionalism in Palupuh Agam  was unsatisfactory. Applying a stratified propotional random sampling technique, 30 teachers were selected as the research sample from a population of 62 teachers. A Likert scale model questionnaire was developed to collect data whose validity and reliability had been tested. The data were then analyzed by means of correlation and regression statistical procedures.The result of data analysis indicates that (1) the creativity  has contribution as much as 19,6% of teachers’ performance (2) principal supervision contributeas much as 16,6% and (3) the creativity of teacher and prinsipal supervision either joint 16,7% of teacher’s performance. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve science learning outcomes by using the method of inquiry. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative methods. Research subjects are students of class V SDN 03 Ikur Koto Koto Tangah District of Padang. Based on the research cycle I to cycle II, the average scores on the cognitive aspects of the first cycle of 6.7 and the second cycle increased to 8.2. The average score on the affective aspects of the first cycle of 5.9 and the second cycle increased to 8.2. While the average score of 6.1 psychomotor aspects first cycle and the second cycle increased to 8.6. Thus, it can be concluded that by using the inquiry method can improve learning outcomes IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis laporan percobaan dengan pendekatan saintifik di kelas IV SD Negeri 15 Ulu Gadut Kecamatan Pauh Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis data kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru dan siswa SD Negeri 15 Ulu Gadut Kecamatan Pauh Kota Padang sebanyak 36 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran menulis laporan percobaan mampu: memotivasi siswa untuk belajar menulis secara nyata karena mengumpulkan sendiri data dari objek atau fenomena percobaan yang akan ditulis laporannya; siswa merasa tertantang mengeksplorasi rasa keingintahuannya tentang fenomena alam; menyenangkan siswa karena mereka merasa bangga dapat berperan serta dalam aktivitas menulis; dan membangkitkan minat menulis siswa karena dapat mempublikasikan hasil percobaannya dalam bentuk tulisan.
