Abstract

This study aimed to measure the influence of social and private cost to learning implementation cost and academic quality of States High School in urban area of West Sumatera province. The population of this study are state high schools in urban areas of West Sumatra. Samples were purposive sampling reduced it to be 32 schools with criteria that had the national exams score for one year and financing by social and individual. The research proved that private and learning implementation cost influence on the academic quality with 0,64 determinant, but social costs are not. This study suggests to use the private cost as one input to improve the quality of academic. Keyword: social cost,private cost,learning implementation cost, academic quality

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study, namely to analyze:the familyenvironment, Economic influence learning,and motivationinfluence toward learning outcomes of students in economic subjects SMAN In Bukittinggi. The type of this research is a associative deskriptive. The technique ofsamplingin this studyistheProportional  Stratified sampling, with a sample of 339 students.Data collected throughinterviews, questionnaires, anddocumentationas a referencein research.Metodeanalysis isthe Path analysis. classifiedintoquantitative study usingsurvey research methods. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: 1) The effect of Supervision on Work Environment, 2) The effect of Supervision on Work Motivation, 3) The effect of Supervision on Work Performance, 4) The effect of Work Environment on Work Motivation, 5) The Effect of Work Environment on Work Performance, 6) The effect of Work Motivation on Work Performance. The type of this research is the study of descriptive and assosiatif. The population of this research was all of the economics teacher in high school / Madrasah Aliyah kota Solok, amounting to as many as 33 people. The sampling method is Total Sampling. Techniques of data analysis is descriptive analysis, test analysis and hypothesis testing requirements with path analysis. The results of this study found that: 1) Supervision have significant effect on Work Environment, 2) Supervision have significant effect on Work Motivation, 3) Supervision have significant effect on Work Performance, 4) Work Environment have significant effect on Work Motivation, 5) Work Environment have significant effect on Work Performance, 6) Work Motivation  have significant effect on Work Performance. In an effort to create a good economic teacher performance and satisfactory, needs improvement efforts are undertaken in the implementation of ongoing supervision activities, creating harmony and comfort in the work, as well as increased work motivation of teachers so that teacher performance can be achieved optimally. . Abstract

This study aims to find: (1). The results of the economic study which has high and low learning interest are taught using learning model two stay two stray higher than the use of conventional learning model, and (2). Interaction between the use of models of learning and students' interest in learning the results of the economic study. This type of research is experimental treatment by block, using two classes of experimental class is a class X.1 to X.2 control class is class, with a total sample of 55 students. Data collection techniques for interest in learning is done by spreading the research questionnaire before learning process is done. As for the results of such study in the form of multiple-choice test given at the end of the lesson. Data analysis techniques in the study include test requirements normality test and homogeneity test, while the results of hypothesis testing includes independent test samples T-test and two-way ANOVA. Results of this study concluded that: (1). Economic learning outcomes of students who are taught by learning model two stay two stray significantly higher than students taught by conventional learning models, (2). Economic learning outcomes of students who have a high interest in learning taught by learning model two stay two stray significantly higher than students taught by conventional learning models, (3). Economic learning outcomes of students who have low learning interest taught by learning model two stay two stray significantly higher compared to using conventional learning models and (4). There is no interaction between the cooperative learning model two stay two stray and interest in learning on learning outcomes of students. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the school environment, peers, and study motivation on the student achievement in SMK business management marketing majors south jambi subdistrict jambi city. By using proportional random sampling technique analysis, the obtained of samples with the number of students is 109. The results showed, in the school environment to support Based on the research results, it can be concluded that in a school environment in order to support the smooth implementation of the learning process, should be able to pay attention to the need for means of support. Thus, students can develop their skills with the help of friends his age to be more motivated to improve learning outcomes, especially in the field of vocational students of business management marketing majors south jambi subdistrict jambi city.   Keyword : School Environment, Peers, Study Motivation, Study Achievement.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to reveal (1) the difference between economy learning outcomes of the students who were taught by using discussion method withMind Mapping media and those who were taught by using convensional discussion method, (2) the difference economy learning outcomes reviewed by students’ prior knowledge, (3) the interaction between discussiona methodwith mind mapping media and prior knowledge toward economy students learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua school year of 2014/2015. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique, elected class X4 (control class) and class X7 (experimental class). Early knowledge of data collection techniques done by giving a test at the beginning of learning  while learning outcome data obtained from the results of the test at the end of learning data analysis technique is descriptive analysis, inductive and hypothesis testing using t-test analysis and Anova Two-Way. The result of data analysis showed that: (1) students who are taught by discussion method with  Mind Mapping media had significantly higher results than students taught through the convensional discussion method with Sig. = 0.025 less than the value of α = 0.05 (Sig. < α), (2) learning outcomes the high prior knowledge of students had significantly higher compared to students who had low prior knowledge with Sig. = 0.000, less than the value of α = 0.05 (Sig. < α) and, (3) there was not interaction between discussionmethodwith Mind Mapping media and prior knowledge toward students learning outcomes. with Sig. = 0.618 higher than the value of α = 0.05 (Sig.> α). Based on these results it is suggested to economics teachers to use discussion method with Mind Mapping media to improve student learning outcomes. Abstract

This research is empirically aimed to analyze and explain the data about the effectiveness learning using assignment learning methods on economy subject in SMAN 2 Rambatan. The popullation on the research were student of SMAN 2 Rambatan consist of  9 classes, totally 206 students. The sampling quantity is 40 persons. The technique sample is cluster sampling through random vote.  The research data was collected by observation sheet, testing, and questionaries. Design used in research is Block Design. There are 2 free variables; firstly,  learning methods (A) consist of 2 categories, Snowball Throwing Methods (A1) and Cooperative STAD Methods (A2); secondly, assignment (B) consist of 2 categories, they were wihtout giving pre-assignment (B1) and giving pre-assignment (B2). In This research is effective learning with related variabels learning activity indicators, cognitive level, learning creativity, accuracy learning out put, and students responses. Data analysis used in this research are (1) descriptive analysis, (2) requirement testing analysis, and (3 analysis of varianc. The research show that (1) hypotesis testing result for learning methods state Ftest ≥  Ftab0,05 (27,84 ≥  10,51), means that there is  significant different, learning effectiveness from class which use snowball throwing methods with cooperative STAD learning methods. As effective learning to cooperative STAD learning 43,85% meanwhile snowball thowing 40,87%.  (2) Hypotesis test result for assignment show Ftest ≥  Ftab0,05 (727,84 ≥  10,51), means there is significant different learning effectiveness from the class whiout giving pre-assignment with giving pre-assignment.  Whereas, the effective leraning from the class which is given pre-assignment is higher (48,98%) meanwhile the class which is not given pre-assigment only 34.73%. Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) The difference learning outcomes in Handling Office Document taught using learning method Role Playing through  Giving Task learning method. (2) The difference learning outcomes of learning Handle Office documents in high motivasion study and low motivation study, (3) The obtion of interaction between teaching methods and learning motivation on Handling Office document learning outcomes. This research was a quasi-experimental (quasi experiment) were carried out in number 1 vocational school of  Payakumbuh. The sample in this study was 60 students consisting of 30 tenth grade  students in  third office administration major and 30 eleventh grade students in fourth office administration major.  Motivating questionnaire and test results of learning handle office documents, were used to collect the samples. The Data were analyzed by using alisis variance (ANOVA). The results showed that: (1) The average of student learning outcomes taught using Role Playing method wqs higher than taught by giving task of learning methods, (2) The average learning outcomes of high motivation students was lower than low motivation strudents, (3) There was no interaction between the use of teaching methods and learning motivation on student learning outcomes. Based on the data analysis result above, it can be concluded that the Role Playing learning method can improve student learning outcomes in handle office documents learning.Key word : earning methods role playing; learning methods administration tasks; student learning outcomes; students' motivation

Abstract

This research had some purposes  that were to analize : ( 1) the influence of students perception about of school environmentand learning motivation toward the students’ learning activities  (2) the influence of students peception about of school environment, learning motivation and students’ learning activities toward the students learning result. This research was quantitative with using  survey. The population of this research was all of the students of accounting skill program at grade  X, XI and XII of SMK bussines management in solok city in the academic year 2014/2015. There were416 students. The technique used in this research was proportionate random sampling which was 204 students.The data analysis was path analysis. Table f and t was as hypothesis. Data analyzed shown  are :(1) students peception about of school environmentand learning motivationsignificance influenced toward  the students’ learning activities (2) students perception about of school environment,learning motivation and students’ learning activities significance influenced toward  the students’ learning activities. Directly significance is higher from indirectly significance. Based on the results it is suggested to the school to pay more attention to the school environment either physical or non-physical . For the teacher is perhaps to give reward to achievement students to increase the learning motivation of students.

Abstract

(4) the interaction between learning model and motivation toward economy students learning outcomes. The population of this research was all of the first year students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya which consisted of 6 classes, each class had 170 students.  The samples by using cluster random sampling technique. The researcher chose the experimental class is X.4 and as the control class is X.1. This research was a quasi experimental which used 2x2 factorial design. The data then was analyzed by using t-test and Anava. The result of research showed that: (1) learning outcomes of the students who were taught by using learning model mind mapping was higher than those who were taught by using conventional model, (2) learning outcomes of the students who had high motivation and were taught by using learning model mind mapping was higher than those who also had high motivation but were taught by using conventional model, (3) learning outcomes of the students who had low motivation and were taught by using learning model mind mapping was higher than those who also had low motivation but were taught by using conventional model, and (4) there was not interaction between learning model and motivation toward students learning outcomes.   Keywords: Learning Model, Mind Mapping, Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Economy
