Abstract

STEM based project learning also capable triggering student to express another higher order thinking skill, such as inquiry by posing question. Generating questions, making comparisons, dealing with contradictions, and scientific inquiry skills are an example of cognitive activities that are classified as higher-order thinking skills. Those skills are including in 21st century skills that needed by the students to face the workspaces demanding in this revolution industry 4.0 and future. The purposes of this research is to investigate students’ question quality through STEM based project learning in science activity. The method that is used in this research is descriptive. The subject in this research are the students of preservice teacher biology and science education for about 21 students. The research needs an analysis of students’ generated question quality when they are in basic physics laboratory activity. This laboratory activity used STEM based project learning approach with reading assignment in the early meeting before each laboratory activity. The technique to take the data that is used in this research are video recording, observation, and informal interview. The research instrument to take the data that is used are observation sheet for student’s generated question quality. The result of this research is from the science laboratory activity, students’ generated question quality that has the most are understanding and relationship which is in the beginning of open question quality and information category gained lower than both of category. It means that, students promoting the improvement of their question quality. It also proved that evaluating, finding and solution category has expressed by the students in both of laboratory activities. It can be concluded that that the quality of students generated question has slightly improved to open question quality through STEM based project learning in science activity

Abstract

Intolerance, discrimination, and violence are three different concepts with different motives and categories, but in the practice of social-society life, the three intersect with each other. This research uses qualitative research with a combination of literature and field studies (mix method). Supported by secondary data processed through the Nvivo 12 Plus analysis to compare alignment using the Nvivo QDA technique, the data is obtained from observations of research subjects using a qualitative data analysis model. To anticipate the practice of violence and intolerance in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, this research becomes a solution to deal with the problems of intolerance that often occur in Yogyakarta. If latent cases have manifested into social conflicts, repressive handling is urgently needed with a practical approach without ignoring human values. Potential acts of intolerance, discrimination, and radicalism in the latent stage can be prevented (preventive) or through guidance and direction activities to influence (persuasive).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find outThe Effect of Learning Discipline on Mathematics Learning Outcomes. The population in this study were students of fourth grade of SDN 01Gunung Picung. The analysis prerequisite testing technique is in the form of a normality test, then the homogeneity test is carried out. Data that is declared normal and homogeneous is used to test the hypothesis which results show that there isThe Effect of Learning Discipline on Mathematics Learning Outcomes. Simple correlation regression analysis technique produces a relationship model which is expressed in the form of a regression equation, namelyŶ = 88.1 + 1.37X. The results of this study are indicated by statistical analysis which produces a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.57. While the coefficient of determination is 32.49%. Regression analysis techniques and simple correlation of learning discipline with mathematics learning outcomes produce an effect which is expressed in the form of a regression equation, namely Ŷ = 88.1 + 1.37X. which means that each increase in learning discipline units causes an increase in mathematics learning outcomes by 0.57 units. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between the learning discipline and mathematics learning outcomes on the fourth grade of SDN 01 Gunung Picung, Bogor Regency, 2020/2021 academic year

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has worried the international community. Countries in the world have banned their citizens from leaving their homes, to avoid transmission of the corona virus. Based on this policy, indirectly it has an effect on air pollution. The earth is clean again with an appeal to just stay at home. The corona virus has changed people's views on climate change. Although on the other hand the corona virus has had a negative impact on global economic conditions. This study aims to provide an overview and analysis of the effect of corona on the global climate. This research method uses a descriptive analysis method supported by secondary data and literature studies. Climate can affect the stability of covid-19, the corona virus can be stable at temperatures of 1oC to 10oC with a humidity of 40% to 50%. Indonesia, which is located on the equator with an average temperature of 27 to 30oC and humidity of 70% to 95%, is an area that is not ideal for the Covid-19 epidemic. However, the facts show that cases of Covid-19 have spread in Indonesia. This means that the population mobility factor has more influence on the development of Covid-19 in Indonesia. Thus it can be concluded that air temperature and humidity can be the dominant factors for the spread of the corona-19 virus. Thus the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic can be controlled by climate and weather factors, human demographics and mobility, as well as social interactions, and also determines public health interventions.

Shopping malls can influence adolescents' lifestyle. Adolescents' ability to adjust lifestyle has assumed dynamism in the social order system and a symbol of identity. In this context, the relationship between adolescent lifestyles and shopping malls is interesting to investigate how the dimensions of youth lifestyle influence and shopping mall attractiveness indicators identify adolescent visitors' characteristics. By using the incidental sampling technique, this quantitative research data involved 97 adolescents as respondents through interview and questionnaire methods, secondary data support, and multiple regression methods consisting of 5 independent variables, namely convenience, comfort, diversity, entertainment, luxury and essence of the mall and one lifestyle dependent variable. Two data analysis techniques; cross-table analysis of respondent characters and statistical analysis using SPSS software to support study in the Linkert Scale, followed by validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption test, multiple regression test, t-test (partial), F test (simultaneous) and coefficient determination. The analysis found that the comfort variable is the most significant variable that impacts adolescent lifestyle. Therefore, there needs to be intensive supervision of mall activities with a high level of convenience to anticipate deviant actions that are feared to harm teenage lifestyles

The sample in this study amounted to 110 respondents, namely Shopee e-commerce users who know SomeThinc serum products. In this study, a theoretical model was developed by proposing five hypotheses to be tested using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tool operated through the LISREL program. Based on the goodness of fit criteria, good fit results are obtained so that the model is feasible to be used for this research. The results showed that eWOM had an effect on trust; the endorser has an effect on trust; trust has an effect on consumer buying interest; eWOM does not affect buying interest; and endorsers do not affect consumer buying interest.

The results showed that home workers were scattered in several areas in several sub-districts. Although no data indicates clearly but their existence is very significant. In carrying out its work, women of home workers face some of the following problems:(1) There is no written agreement about the terms and conditions, (2) Low wages; based on the product unilaterally determined by the employer.
