This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and financial compensation on turnover intention which is mediated by job satisfaction at PT Hayati Pratama Mandiri Padang, West Sumatera. The method used in this research is quantitative-descriptive. This study uses primary data collected through a questionnaire instrument from 60 permanent employees of PT Hayati Pratama Mandiri Padang. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression techniques to find the effect of independent variables on the dependent and path analysis to examine the effect of intermediary variables. Data analysis in this study used the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 21. The results of this study indicate that the work environment has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction, while financial compensation has no significant effect on job satisfaction. The opposite result was also obtained, i.e. the work environment did not have a significant effect on turnover intention, while financial compensation had a significant effect on turnover intention. Furthermore, job satisfaction does not have a significant effect on turnover intention. Data collected from 320 respondents were tested against the research model using PLS analysis. The results showed that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control had a significant impact on the purchase intention of facial care products, and it was also found that these factors influenced women more than men on the purchase intention of facial care products. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effect of return on assets, capital adequacy ratio, non-performing finance, and BOPO ratio on the Mudharabah Financing System. The samples in this study are eight Sharia Banks in Indonesia registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) RI in 2018-2020, which were obtained through a purposive sampling technique approach. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regressions. This is indicated by the results of research using the t-test ROA and BOPO have no effect on the Mudharabah Financing system, while CAR and NPF had a significant positive effect on mudharabah's approval of Sharia Banks. Sharia Banks in managing to finance must prioritize the principle of prudence so that bad debts can be controlled.

Abstract

Cooperatives can play a role as one of the main forces in encouraging national economic growth. One of the indicators in improving the welfare of members can be proven by the increase in SHU. This study aims to examine how the independent variables (number of members, external capital, business volume, and total assets) can affect the dependent variable (SHU) in all cooperatives in Bali Province. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach with a verification method using panel data regression analysis. This study uses secondary data with time series 2015-2020 and a cross-section of 9 districts/cities sourced from the publications of the Bali Province Cooperatives and UMKM Office. It’s known that the results of this study when proven simultaneously, that the external capital variable, business volume variable, and total asset variable have a significant influence on the SHU variable. Partially it’s known that the variable number of members has no influence and is negatively related to the SHU variable, there is a significant influence between external capital and the SHU variable but is negatively related, the business volume variable has a significant and positive relationship to the SHU variable, and the total assets variable has an influence as well significantly related to the SHU variable.

The era of technology, business competition, and increasingly rapid business growth requires companies to have an efficient and effective marketing strategy. One of the marketing strategies that can generate buying interest is celebrity endorsers and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM). The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence the celebrity endorser and E-WOM variables have on buying interest with the brand image as a mediating variable in Tokopedia e-commerce. This research is of the type of explanatory research with research subjects, namely all consumers who know Tokopedia e-commerce. Determination of the research sample using purposive sampling method with a total of 120 respondents. The processing of this research data uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis as a data analysis technique, namely SmartPLS as a tool for processing data. The results of this study indicate that celebrity endorsers have a positive and significant influence on purchase intention, while E-WOM does not have a significant influence on the purchase intention of Tokopedia consumers. Furthermore, celebrity endorsers, E-WOM, and brand image have a positive and significant influence on the buying interest of Tokopedia consumers. Based on the mediation test, the results of this study found that Tokopedia's brand image was able to mediate the influence of celebrity endorsers and E-WOM on consumer buying interest.

Abstract

This article investigated how employability skills training can be used to foster adolescent girls' and young women's employment opportunities and to improve their employment pathways in South Africa. This study adopted quantitative and descriptive research approaches via longitudinal data collection. Secondary data was collected from 3584 AGYWs using a questionnaire survey during employability training from July-October 2021. Robustness analysis was performed using descriptive statistics using SPSS version 28.0. The empirical findings proved that employability skills training significantly improved the capabilities of adolescent girls and young women on labour market assessments. Relying on these empirical findings, this study proposes a framework for linking AGYWs and the labour market through an employability skills training capability-based conceptualised model. The results of this study will fill a gap in understanding the twelve dominant employability skills variables identified by this research study which has justified with most relevant literature and theories in particular. This study contributes to the current body of knowledge and further contributes to the career development and employability among adolescent girls and young women required to cope with the labour markets in South Africa. The study recommends schools, Universities and other key role players in skills development among employability skills guidelines for ensuring the readiness of young graduates for employment opportunities in South Africa.
