Abstract

Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) is a central government program to help the poor who are food insecure. The purpose of this study is the implementation of non-cash food assistance expenditures in reducing the expenditure burden of poor families. This research uses a qualitative approach that produces descriptive data, by interviewing two poor people and one government. The data collection techniques applied are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that poverty reduction so far has only changed from the food subsidy system (Raskin / Rastra) with an in-kind scheme to the BPNT food assistance system with a non-cash scheme. each poor family receives assistance of Rp. 200,000, -. The implementation of the assistance program in reducing the expenditure burden of poor families reaches an effectiveness level of 66.57%, this shows "good enough" and can reduce the expenditure burden of poor families by 55%. This is in accordance with Islamic values, namely Nafs (soul), Maal (property), Nasab (offspring) in sharia. The implementation of the BPNT program in various regions has been quite effective but the implementation has not met the 6 Target principle (right target, quantity, time, price, quality, and administration). The main obstacle related to the achievement of the program's target is that the data on Beneficiary Families (KPM) has not been updated properly. In terms of food groups, the food assistance received by poor families classified as KPM participants is quite diverse but with a decreasing quantity over time.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to examine the influence of company ownership structure on tax avoidance. The ownership structure in this research uses three types of ownership, namely managerial ownership, institutional ownership and foreign ownership. The sample used is manufacturing companies registered on the IDX during 2021-2022. By using purposive sampling, the final data used for analysis was 176 data. The analytical tool used is SPSS with multiple linear regression analysis. The research results support all hypotheses, showing that managerial ownership, institutional ownership and foreign ownership have a negative effect on tax avoidance. The results of this research conclude that the existence of an ownership structure tends to be reluctant to be involved in tax avoidance, because it is more interested in improving the company's reputation and business continuity in the long term.

Abstract

Adoption of Sharia Compliance (SC) is one of the dimensions of Islamic Ethical Practice (i-EP) or Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (i-CSR), which can potentially lead companies to obtain several significant capital market benefits, including affecting risk (cost of equity). However, whether and to what extent SC influences the cost of equity is still an issue and has yet to be widely documented at the theoretical and empirical levels, especially in the Indonesian context. Apart from the low level of cash holding, the evidence gap shows that the Indonesian Sharia financial screening criteria are more liberal than the international criteria, which indicates that Indonesian SC leverage contains a higher financial risk premium, thus possibly having implications for estimating the high expected return of investments and in turn the effect of SC on the cost of equity potentially has different empirical significance from international finding. Implications of liquidity and risk premium on the cost of equity indicate that SC's influence on the cost of equity is more complex than simple causality. Therefore, it is necessary to build a more comprehensive system by formulating contingency factors in the relationship between SC and the cost of equity. The finding reveal from 891 observations that the link between SC and cost of equity is fully mediated relationship, which indicates that SC can only affect the cost of equity with good reputation and by improving performance.

Abstract

The conventional economic system has led to rapid global development, but there is a need to explore alternative approaches. This paper addresses the limited research on the integration of green and Islamic economics, focusing on their contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and intergenerational prosperity. Employing a qualitative research method, the study reveals that green and Islamic economies complement each other due to their shared objective of societal welfare across generations. Both perspectives view SDGs as initiatives that promote equality and sustainable use of natural resources. Achieving these goals requires substantial funding, which is where Islamic financial instruments come into play, providing essential support for financing SDG-related activities. This research highlights the synergy between these two economic models and their potential to drive long-term, equitable development.

The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, the research was conducted at the Academic Bureau of UIN North Sumatra, the research sample was students who received Kip scholarships in 2019. Data analysis was carried out using the miles and huberman method which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that based on the effectiveness indicators, namely seen from the accuracy of the program targets that have been running effectively, the socialisation of the program has been declared appropriate, the supervision of the program has been said to be appropriate, but the indicators of achieving program objectives have not been fully effective. The effectiveness of governance in the implementation of the KIP scholarship programme at UIN North Sumatra is a policy implementation in supporting the government's commitment to provide access to higher education to people who have economic limitations. Therefore, further research is needed that focuses more on further supervision of the programme so that the objectives of the KIP programme can be achieved.

This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between service quality and facilities. With a positive data collection strategy and a sample size of 100 participants, this research applies associative methodology. Participants must be customers who have used Garuda Pontianak hotel services at least twice, in order to be considered for taking part in this research. Statistical methods used in the analysis include: multiple linear regression, correlation and determination coefficients, simultaneous testing (F test), and partial testing (t test). The data are linear, normally distributed, and show no signs of multicollinearity; these findings were confirmed by standard assumption tests. The variables included in this study contributed 61% of the variance in repurchase interest, while the remaining 39% was influenced by other factors that could not be explained. Initial research shows that the quality of services and facilities available at the Garuda Pontianak hotel has a significant effect on repurchase interest for users of Garuda hotel services in Pontianak City.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of independent commissioners, company size, and profitability on company value with loan interest rates as a moderating variable. This research uses secondary data in the form of financial reports of non-cyclical consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2020-2023 period. By using purposive sampling, a selected sample of 100 was obtained. The testing method used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis of panel data. The research results show that independent commissioners have no effect on company value, company size has a significant positive effect on company value, and profitability has a positive but insignificant effect on company value. This research also found that loan interest rates have a significant negative effect on the relationship between company size and company value as well as the relationship between profitability and company value.

Abstract

Investment in the food and beverage (F&B) sector has become increasingly popular. This study analyzes the impact of financial ratios on the firm value of F&B companies listed on the IDX during the 2019-2023 period. The results show that the liquidity ratio (X1) and capital structure (X3) significantly influence firm value (Y) through the mediation of company growth (Z). Conversely, stock price profitability (X2) does not significantly impact firm value (Y) through the mediation of earnings growth (Z). These findings suggest that investors should consider these ratios when making investment decisions, as they can optimize their portfolios and achieve long-term financial goals. This research contributes to the financial literature by providing empirical evidence on the factors affecting firm value in the F&B sector in Indonesia. Additionally, intelligent investing can yield optimal financial returns for investors.
