Introduction: Indonesian Ministry of Health Research (2017) stated that since 2000 the percentage of older people is above 7%and predicts that the population of Indonesian seniors will continue to increase. The elderly will undergo a gradual decline in physical and mental capacities, one of which is a decrease in lumbar joints flexibility. It can be prevented by exercising. One of the suitable exercise that can be done is yoga. Purpose: To analyze the flexibility of lumbar joints in the elderly before and after yoga exercises. Method: this study is a pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design approach. The sampling techniques used in this research was non-probability sampling method i.e., purposive sampling with a sample of 35 people. Elderly flexibility was measured using the sit and reach test scale. Result: The flexibility of lumbar joints in thirty-five elderly as subjects before yoga on the first day and after the yoga on the last daywas measured using a meter band, and the result showed 27 older people with increased flexibility, six older people with decreased, and two people who have no change. The Results obtained a significant difference between before and after the yoga exercise program (P = 0.00).Conclusion: There is a difference in the flexibility of lumbar joints before and after yogagymnastics in the elderly at Integrated Health Center (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu in Indonesianor Posyandu) Yuswo Widodo Surabaya, with better flexibility after yoga exercise. Thisfavorable condition might minimize the probability risk of musculoskeletal injury. Â

Introduction: Bacterial infections are common among doctors in Indonesia, leading toincreased use of antibiotics. Increased use of antibiotics, if not accompanied by rationalindication, can increase bacterial resistance. At present, alternative medicine from naturalingredients is widely studied, one of which is the leaves of melinjo (Gnetum gnemon L.).Melinjo leaves are thought to contain antibacterial compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and alkaloids. Staphylococcus aureus is a round Gram-positive bacteria, that forms grape-like clusters. Staphylococcus aureus is a normal flora on the skin and human mucosa but can be opportunistic pathogens that cause mild to severe infections such as sepsis. Pathogenic Staphylococcus aureus can produce hemolysis blood, frozen plasma, and produce various extracellular enzymes and toxins. Purpose: This research aims to study the MIC and MBC of melinjo leaves extract on thegrowth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This research is an experimental study with a posttest control group design. Method: Testing conducted using the microdilution method. Melinjo leaves used were extracted by maceration method using 96% ethanol. Samples were Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 from BBLK Surabaya. Results: extract of melinjo leaves (Gnetum gnemon L.) had MIC on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria at a concentration of 640 mg/ml. MBC was not obtained because the extract of melinjo leaves clotted above 1280 mg/ml concentration. Conclusion: Melinjo leaves extract has an antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus, the MIC is obtained at a concentration of 640 mg/ml, and the MBC cannot be determined.

Introduction: Bronchopleural fistula (BPF) is a pathological connection between thebronchial tree and the pleural space. Clinical manifestation of BPF may be classified as acute, subacute, and delayed or chronic forms. Acute BPF can be a life-threatening condition due totension pneumothorax or asphyxiation from pulmonary flooding. Purpose: To report the patient survival from the upper lobe of the right lung bronchopleuralfistula wedge resection and to use staplers as upper lobe pulmonary wound closure. Case Report: 72-year-old male referred from pulmonologist with a chief complaint ofprogressive shortness of breath and nonproductive cough for four days. The patient had ahistory of tuberculosis and COPD and a heavy smoker for the last 50 years. Chestradiography showed a decreased opacity of the right hemithorax, with 40% collapsed of the lung parenchyma. Chest tube insertion performed on the right hemithorax, then the patient got immediate relief. On the seventh day, the patient complained of worsening dyspnea. Achest x-ray showed lung collapsed on the right hemithorax. Multislice CT-scan (MSCT) ofthe chest showed right-sided pneumothorax with bronchopleural fistula. Wedge resection forthe 3 cm in diameter fistula was performed. On the seventh day postoperative, the patient wasfully recovered then discharged from the hospital. Conclusion: Seven days postoperatively of wedge resection, the patient discharge from thehospital without any complication and stable hemodynamic. The patient went to theoutpatient department for follow up one week after.

Introduction: Sedentary lifestyle continues to develop, which causes problems such asobesity and coronary heart disease. This is caused by an increase in body weight and LDLlevels that can be overcame with a Mediterranean diet or an unsaturated ketogenic diet.Purpose: To analyze the difference in weight and LDL of Rattus norvegicus on theunsaturated ketogenic diet and the Mediterranean dietMethod: this study was an experimental study on 30 Rattus norvegicus divided into threegroups (control, unsaturated ketogenic, and Mediterranean), each group is divided into two, according to the time of administration (two weeks and four weeks). After the interventionwas completed, bodyweight was calculated, and LDL levels were checked. Then, the data wasanalyzed with one-way ANOVA test. Results: The test results show p < 0.001 in the comparison between the three groups and p <0.05 for comparison in the unsaturated ketogenic group. The Mediterranean diet shows p>0.05, and the control diet leads p> 0.05. The data show that rapid weight loss (2 weeks) andreduction in LDL (in 4 weeks) in the unsaturated ketogenic diet is better than theMediterranean diet or control. For medium-term weight loss (4 weeks), the Mediterraneandiet is better than the neither saturated ketogenic diet nor control. Conclusion: There is a difference in weight and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) level ofRattus norvegicus on the Mediterranean diet and unsaturated ketogenic diet. This favorablecondition might minimize the probability risk of obesity and coronary heart disease.
