Abstract

In this paper, CSR communication are investigated through the analysis of websites, by exploring companies which are operating in Indonesia in mining industry. Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of extension on responsibility of businessperson and domestic income, and to analyze the impact of responsibility of local businesspersons on domestic income. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation study. Path analysis was used in this research. Results of this research showed that extension program of Regional Regulation was perceived well organized, responsibility of businesspersons in paying regional tax was high, and there was significant increase in domestic income. It was also found that Regional Regulation extension program has no significant effect on both the rate of businesspersons’ responsibility and domestic income in Kabupaten Cirebon. In addition, effectiveness of Regional Regulation extension program depends heavily on knowledge capacity of extension officers as well as their attitudes in delivering information through the program. Implications of this research are that persuasive approaches, honesty, and transparencies of tax officers are required in collecting regional trade license tax from regional taxpayers. These, in turn, will result in a better sympathetic and responsibility of business community.Key words: Domestic Industrial and Trade Regulation Extension Program; businesspersons; domestic income; taxpayer responsibility.

Abstract

The company's main goal to achieve maximum profit, so that the company's goals can be achieved, then the company should have a high effectiveness. Companies and employees are two things that need each other. The success employees of self-actualization of potential and an opportunity to meet their needs. As for the company, success is a means towards the growth and development of the company. The company's success is determined in part by either the employee job satisfaction.The population of study was employees of PT. Rianto Prima Jaya, amounting to 90 employees. The sampling technique used in this study is the Proportional stratified random sampling by taking a sample of 90 people. According Sugiyono (2007: 75), this technique is used when the population has members or elements that are not homogeneous and stratified proportionally. Measurement of variables in this study will use a Likert scale. This data was obtained through HRD in the company. This data is in the form of number of employees, section or division. The interview is with a question and answer directly to the employees of the company and the respondent regarding the motivation, job satisfaction, and employee performance in an organization or company. The questionnaire is to provide a list of written questions to the respondent on motivational factors and hygiene factors and job satisfaction PT. Rianto Prima Jaya. Validity is an instrument that can be used to measure what should be measured. This test is done to approach product moment correlation between each of the items that measure a variable with a total score of the variables. Reliability test was conducted to determine the level of consistency of measurement results when the data measured twice or more the same symptoms.The results showed that the variables of Hygiene negative effect and no significant effect on Employee Satisfaction at PT. Rianto Prima Jaya,, while Motivator variables provide a significant and positive effect on employee job satisfaction. Correlation / relationship between hygiene and motivator factors with job satisfaction of employees of PT. Rianto Prima Jaya is high enough for (r = 0710) in which the adjusted R-square is equal to 0710 this means 71% of the variation in the dependent variable job satisfaction of employees at PT. Rianto Prima Jayayang can be explained by the independent variables of Hygiene and Motivatorsedangkan the balance of 0.290 or 29% is explained by other variables outside the existing variable. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antarakepemimpinan, kompensasi, dan kompetensi dan secara bersama-samaterehadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depok. Populasi yangdiambil untuk penelitian ini adalah pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depokyang berjumlah 95 orang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metodestratified random sampling karena di dalam populasi terdapat berbagaimacam tingkatan jabatan/eselon, juga terdapat berbagai tingkatan golonganruang gaji. Instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Data yang terkumpulselanjutnya diolah menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear dengan bantuanperangkat lunak SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science). Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan kepemimpinan, kompetensi, dan kompensasi sangat signifikanmempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Kontribusi kepemimpinan terhadap variasikinerja pegawai adalah sebesar 10.2%. Kompensasi memberikan konrtibusiterhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 10.4% dan kontribusi kompetensi terhadapvariasi yang terjadi pada kinerja pegawai sebesar 13%. Selanjutnya dapatdinyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan, kompensasi, dan kompetensi memberikankontribusi sebesar 48,8% terhadap variasi yang terjadi pada kinerja pegawai.Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan, kompensasi, kompetensi, kinerja

Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi sudah mengalami tranformasi di era informasi melalui pemanfaatan internet sebagai media informasi dan moda pembelajaran dengan pendekatan baru. Internet telah menjadi salah satu media penting yang dapat membantu peningkatan popularitas perguruan tinggi dan alat diseminasi ilmu pengetahuan ke masyarakat. Popularitas tersebut berhubungan dengan kuantitas dan kualitas konten yang tersedia pada website perguruan tinggi. Ukuran yang digunakan untuk mengukur mutu pembuatan website tersebut meliputi jumlah halaman web, kekayaan fitur layanan, dan muara akhirnya adalah jumlah tautan dan jumlah kunjungan sebagai ukuran popularitas. Berbagai ukuran tersebut juga digunakan oleh pemeringkatan website perguruan tinggi di dunia seperti yang dilakukan  oleh Webometrics dan 4icu. Jumlah perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang masuk pemeringkatan Webometrics Edisi Juli 2011 sebanyak 149, dan peringkat atas di tingkat nasional didominasi oleh Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Perguruan tinggi di Indonesia juga masih tertinggal di lingkungan ASEAN yang sepuluh besarnya dikuasai oleh Singapura, Malaysia, dan Thailand. Kata kunci: webmetrics, webometric, 4icu, rich files, kualitas web

Abstract

Not only in Indonesia, but also in others country watching television is a major activity. The Cultivation theory (sometimes referred to as the cultivation hypothesis or cultivation analysis) suggests that when people watch television they are acquiring or cultivating a view of the “real world” that is shaped by the way things are portrayed on television. The objective of this study is to describe how the research using the cultivation theory as the guiding framework or theoretical base is performed in the the published scientific articles. Data collected is analyzed using content analysis method. The overall findings indicate that in initial development of cultivation theory, publication articles focused more on the falsification of cultivation theory itself, cultivation theory has been confirmed in a wide array of studies across diverse fields area attests to its versatility. But in later development, the theory was also used in the analysis of the theme of non-violence, such as psychology and economy. In economy, the focus is primarily on consumer behavior; the large majority of articles were empirical research (70%), most of all collecting data in literature research used survey method (72.7%), empirical research has been used variable control (57.4%). The controlled variables were general demographics, such as age, gender, income, ethnic, and education.

Abstract

Mengingat perkembangan penggunaan internet di kalangan masyarakat yang makin meningkat maka pemanfaatan laman sebagai media pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial/CSR oleh perusahaan menjadi semakin menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah perusahaan telah memanfaatkan laman resminya untuk mengungkapkan program CSR yang dilakukan dan tingkat interaktivitas informasi tersebut. Dengan menggunakan alat yang didisain oleh Capriotti dan Moreno (2007) penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap laman resmi perusahaan yang masuk ke dalam Indeks Bisnis-27 yang dikeluarkan oleh PT Bursa Efek Indonesia dan harian Bisnis Indonesia sektor industri dasar dan kimia pada Februari 2009. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laman resmi Semen Gresik dan Indocement telah mengungkapkan isu terkait CSR kecuali tentang etika perusahaan. Laman resmi Semen Gresik dan Indocement ini menempatkan isu CSR pada hirarki yang tinggi tetapi mempunyai tingkat interaktivitas yang rendah, karena hanya menggunakan sumber ekspositif yang satu arah dan tidak menyediakan sarana umpan balik yang memadai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan perbedaan kepuasan mahasiswa pada bengkelmotor AHASS 1605 Seturan di Yogyakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalahsebagian mahasiswa pengguna jasa bengkel AHASS 1605 Seturan di Yogyakarta.Jumlahnya 100 mahasiswa dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknikpurposive sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Metode pengumpulandata mengunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample T-Tes t.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan kepuasan mahasiswa berdasarkandimensi kualitas pelayanan pada bengkel motor AHASS 1605 Seturan di Yogyakarta.Implikasi bagi bengkel motor AHASS 1605 Seturan di Yogyakarta. dapat menyusunstrategi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan dimensi kualitas pelayanan pada konsumenmereka.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of the advertising massage, measured by the audiences’ attitudes toward ads massage without the visualization and with the vissualization of the chronic sickness pictures as the side effects of smoking. Respondents is undergraduates’ students of Economics Faculty, Universitas Lampung. The results show that the ads massage of the dangerous smoking without and with the visualization is significantly positive, and affects on intention not to smoke and or quit smoking. The ads massage with the visualization makes more senses in the knowledge of respondents (cognitive attitude), and has more sensitive attitudes or induces emotional feeling of the respondents (affective attitude), so that it increases the probability of the smokers’ to stop smoking and of non smokers not to smoke.Key words: the effectiveness of advertising massage, cognitive and affective attitude, intention Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas iklan yang diukur dari sikap perespon terhadap iklan pesan bahaya merokok dengan visualisasi maupun tanpa visualisasi gambar penyakit akibat merokok. Responden pada studi ini adalah mahasiswa strata satu pada Fakultas Ekonomi Unila. Hasil temuan menyimpulkan bahwa iklan pesan bahaya merokok merupakan iklan yang efektif, disikapi positif signifikan dan berdampak pada niat perokok dan bukan perokok untukberhenti merokok dan tidak merokok. Iklan dengan visualisasi gambar yang menginformasikan bahaya merokok lebih menyentuh pengetahuan seseorang (sikap kognitif), serta keyakinan dan perasaan emosional (sikap afektif), sehingga memperbesar peluang perokok untuk berniat berhenti merokok.Kata Kunci: kefektifan iklan, niat, sikap afektif dan kognitif.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of technical analysis in predicting stock price movements in Indonesia Stock Exchange (ISE). The study also aimed to determine the implications of technical analysis of the efficiency of information on the Stock Exchange. The population in this study are listed companies on the Stock Exchange from 2006-2010. The data used in this study is the stock price data during the obser­vation period with the yield on the shares of profits (losses) of capital. Wilcoxon sign rank test used to differentiate stock returns using technical analysis with a passive in­vestment strategy. The results suggest that technical analysis is useful for predicting stock price movements on the Stock Exchange in the future. Furthermore, this result is an early indication that ISE is not weak form efficient market. In other words ISE is an inefficient market based on information.
