Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer loyalty mediated by Customer satisfaction and customer value addition, it also examines, the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction, which is mediated by the effect of customer value and customer satisfaction and customer value on customer loyalty mediated by trust. The population in this study are household customers in Kendari who use the services of PDAM for 17,607 households spread are over 10 (ten) districts. The samples in this study are 391 household customers are taken with a precision of 5 % Data Collection techniques utility questionnaire. Data are analyzed by using. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the help of the program, some of the important findings in this study are : (1) better service improvement of Kendari  Regional causes trust, (2) customer loyalty improvement is also achievable of the provided service is able to enhance customer value. Besides, this research also proves that trust has a mediating role between satisfaction and loyalty of our customers as well as between customer value and loyalty.Keywords: service quality, customer satisfaction, customer value, customer trust and customer loyalty.

Abstract

Kendari City is the capital of Southeast Sulawesi Province which is a trade centre and centre for higher education. The function of the region triggered the migration of people from outside the Kendari City area to find employment and or continue their education to Higher Education.The movement of residents from outside the city implies a demand for a place to live. One alternative to the residence is the availability of boarding houses. Rental houses can contribute taxes based on Kendari City Regulation No. 2 of 2011 concerning rental house taxes. This study aims to analyze the Contribution and Effect of Housing Tax on Regional Original Revenue during the period 2012-2017 after the enactment of Kendari City Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2011 concerning Regional Taxes.   The analysis technique uses descriptive statistics and simple regression using secondary data from Regional Original Income and Kendari City Tax Revenue. Research conclusions: (1) Contribution of rental house tax to Kendari's total original regional income in the very less category, (5) Rental house tax has a significant effect on Kendari's Original Regional Income.   Keywords: Regional Regulation, Rental House Tax, Revenue

Abstract

Development is carried out to improve the standard of living of its citizens. Development is also carried out so that there is no disparity between villages and cities. The rapid development in urban areas which has triggered a wave of urbanization has made the villages increasingly marginalized. Urbanization flows are difficult to stem because the village mindset assumes that in the city they will get jobs so they can improve their standard of living. With this phenomenon, the Government rolled out the Village Fund Policy. The Village Fund Policy opens employment opportunities in the village so that the community can be empowered through development programs in the village. The purpose of this paper is to describe the empowerment of rural communities through the Village Fund so that they can improve the living standard of rural communities. This paper uses a type of library research through documents analysis such as data contained in various media, books and other documents. The use of the Village Fund is significant to prevent the flow of urbanization. Opportunities for village communities to improve living standards were accommodated through community empowerment from the Village Fund.    Keywords: Village Funds, Empowerment, Improvement of Life Level

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out knowing the problem (inhibiting factors) of bureaucracy in improving the quality of public services at the Muna Regency Regional Secretariat.This study uses a type of qualitative research with descriptive analysis methods in order to describe the problem (inhibiting factors) of bureaucracy in improving the Quality of Public Services at the Muna Regency Regional Secretariat by using data collection methods through interviewing informants and observations.The conclusion of this study is that the problem (inhibiting factors) of bureaucracy in order to improve the quality of public services, namely, human resources that carry out service tasks are not optimal. Because most of those who served in the ministry had a high school education background (high school) which was as many as 19 people or 31.67 per cent. Then the supporting facilities owned by the Muna Regency Secretariat have met service needs, but their utilization is relatively not optimal, this is possible because of limited human resources that have not been able to utilize the facility optimally.   Keywords: Bureaucracy, Quality, Public Service

Abstract

Thus, this research aims to: (1) To know the leadership style of the Head of Department to improve the employee motivation in Kendari Public Works Department. (2) To know the work motivation of employees at the Kendari Public Works Department.This research is qualitative research, which is research procedure that produces an analytical description of the written word and the behaviour of the object being observed. In this research, the determination of the informant set intentionally. Data was collected using three techniques, namely, observation, interviews and document analysis.The results showed that: 1) the dominant leadership style adopted by the Head of Department of Kendari Public Works is democratic leadership. This is based on interviews and analysis according to each indicator - free leadership style, autocratic, bureaucratic and undemocratic. All informants stated that the Head of the Kendari Public Works Department divides the tasks to subordinates in a fair and equitable, and using collaboration and discussion within the team to discuss the work and decision-making, this is in accordance with democratic leadership style indicator. While other leadership styles, there are several indicators that are not met. 2) Democratic leadership style adopted by the Kendari Head of the Public Works Department has not fully improved employee motivation. This is according to the results of the analysis and interviews on each indicator. As; still lack some office facilities and field facility at the sub-variable leadership attention on employee work environment; still, a lack of employees who follow the Structural Training, take formal education (bachelor and master) on the sub-variable provide opportunities for advanced. This is an indicator that can reduce the work motivation of employees of the Kendari City Public Works Department.   Keywords: Leadership Style, The Work Motivation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the public perception of the characteristics of foreign workers, that is a lifestyle, relationships and attitudes, by using estimator errors of 10%, a total of samples is 60 heads of families in Morosi village. The results of this study indicate that public perceptions of the lifestyle of foreign workers as much as 73.33% of respondents stated good, as many as 25.00% stated is less good, as much as 1.67% stated is not good. Public perceptions of the interaction of foreign workers as much as 53.33% of respondents stated is less good, as many as 36.67% stated is good, as many as 8.33% of respondents stated is not good, as much as 1.67% of respondents stated is very good. Public perceptions of the attitude of foreign workers as much as 53.33% of respondents stated is less good and as many as 46.67% of respondents stated is good.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and human resource development on the performance of employees of the Public Works Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The design of this study is associative explanative research. The population of this study was a staff of the Public Works Agency of the Southeast Sulawesi Province. The study sample was selected by cluster random sampling according to the level of education using the Taro Yamane formula. Thus a sample of 88 people. Besides that, 8 informants were used. Data collection using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis followed by t-test (partial) and F test (simultaneous).The results of the study show that: (1) Transformational leadership has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Public Works Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. (2) The development of human resources observed through the dimensions of education and training has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Public Works Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. (3) Transformational leadership and human resource development simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Public Works Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of management information systems and the effectiveness of Civil Servants working in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province, and to find out the relationship between Management Information Systems and the Effectiveness of Civil Servants Work in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province.The population in this study were all employees with the status of Civil Servants working in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province, totalling 32 people. Sampling is done by using the saturated sample method (census), which is to use the entire population as a sample (respondent) besides that it is used by 2 informants namely the Head of Section and Head of the Electronic Data Processing Subdivision.In this study used product-moment correlation analysis and qualitative analysis.The results of the study showed that the management information system used by the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province had on average been good, and the work effectiveness of civil servants in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province was also good on average.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of Cooperative Revitalization in the Cooperative and SME Office of Muna Regency. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the implementation of the revitalization of cooperatives in the Muna Regency Cooperative and the UKM Office. This research was conducted at the Muna District Cooperative and the SME Institute. Data collection techniques used in this study are using primary data and secondary data. The data collected will be analyzed qualitatively.The results of the research are based on the indicators of the Members' Meeting, the Audit Board, Managers, People, Interests, Rules and Structures, showing that the Revitalization of Cooperative Management to Achieve the Welfare of Cooperative Members in the Cooperative Office of Muna Regency has an important role for the survival of members and communities. While in the management of cooperatives to realize the welfare of cooperative members in the Muna Regency Cooperative Office, it runs in accordance with applicable standards.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mining company production on the economic conditions of the community and how the population growth of Koeono Village and Watudemba Village (Mine Circle). The method of determining the sample in this study is Simple Random Sampling. The analytical method used to determine the growth rate of the economic condition of the community is carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis, while to determine the effect of nickel mining company production on economic conditions simple linear regression analysis is used. The results of the research on the economic conditions of the people of Koeono Village and Watudemba Village (Mine Circle) and simple linear regression revealed that nickel mining production had no effect on aspects of community income opportunities, employment opportunities, business opportunities, health, education and lifestyle because the value was far larger than the probability value where the probability value used is 0.05
