Abstract

Breast milk is the ideal food for babies. Preparation for exclusive breastfeeding should start during pregnancy. The success of exclusive breastfeeding requires a lot of support from husband and family. Health volunteers are the spearhead of providing health information in the village so it is necessary to empower health volunteers in the socialization of exclusive breastfeeding to pregnant women. The purpose of the activity is to empower health volunteers regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding so that they can provide assistance on exclusive breastfeeding for pregnant women. The method of activity is to empower health volunteers about exclusive breastfeeding. Pre-test and post-test were carried out before the activity as an evaluation. The tools and materials used are LCD, screen, leaflet, questionnaire. A sample of 15 health volunteers. The results, before empowering health volunteers there were 8 health volunteers with sufficient knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding (53%) and 2 health volunteers with good knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding (13.3%). After empowering health volunteers, there was an increase in the knowledge of health volunteers, namely 13 health volunteers had good knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding (86.6%) and the remaining 2 health volunteers had sufficient knowledge (13.3%). At the mentoring stage, 15 health volunteers managed to provide assistance to 15 pregnant women who were willing to prepare themselves during pregnancy to provide exclusive breastfeeding to their babies after birth. The conclusion is that there is an increase in knowledge of health volunteers after empowering health volunteers so that pregnant women get assistance in preparing exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Children are the nation's most valuable asset in the future, monitoring and stimulation of growth and development is one way for children to achieve optimal growth and development. Every child needs to be stimulated and monitored regularly as early as possible appropriately and continuously, both in the family and at school. Monitoring growth and development is carried out to find out whether children grow and develop according to their age and stage of development and can detect deviations in child growth and development. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge and provide training to early childhood teachers regarding early detection of child growth and development. This community service method is to conduct counseling about growth and development and early detection, followed by training for early detection of growth and development. Community service results: Pretest results show that of the 35 early childhood teachers who participated in the activity, 13 teachers had poor knowledge, and 12 teachers had sufficient knowledge, and 10 teachers had good knowledge. The results of the posttest after the counseling were 35 early childhood teachers who had good knowledge. The conclusion of community service is: There is an increase in knowledge after counseling on growth and development and early detection.

Abstract

Positive habits need to be instilled from an early age, so that children get used to it, including the habit of washing hands with soap. Instilling hand washing techniques in children must be carried out with something unique, for example by playing, so that children feel happy. Hands Washing Dance is packaged expressively according to the character of PAUD (Early Childhood Education) students who prioritize learning while playing, which is expected to foster a sense of enthusiasm for children in washing hands after activities. The purpose of this community service is to provide care for preschool-aged children so that they can practice good hand washing techniques with the handwashing dance method during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period”. The method used is an observation method. Results: from the results of the pretest, 60% of respondents got bad criteria, and 40% of other respondents got very bad criteria. After applying the Hand Washing Dance and doing the post test the results were 10% of respondents with sufficient results, and 90% of respondents with good results. Conclusion: The ability of the respondent to wash hands after using the Handwashing dance method increased.

Abstract

The Integrated Services Post (Posyandu) program is good enough to monitor children's growth and development, but with the Covid-19 pandemic, Posyandu activities have been temporarily suspended face-to-face, thus monitoring the development and growth of toddlers, which is usually carried out by cadres at Posyandu, is also hampered. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the skills of Posyandu cadres to detect stunting within the scope of the Dasawisma as assistance to mothers of toddlers both online and in face-to-face meetings while still paying attention to health protocols to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this activity is to improve the skills of Posyandu cadres in stunting detection through cadre training. The method of this activity is the preparation of coordination with partners, coordination with village midwives and cadres, determining a joint schedule, making media booklets and questionnaires, then continuing with the implementation of activities starting with pretest, training, and evaluation with posttest, and assistance for stunting detection activities. The results of this community service are that after training Posyandu cadres experienced an increase in knowledge and skills on stunting detection, as many as 26 Posyandu in Karangkelsem Village received a grant for stamping scales and height measuring devices, and the skills of Posyandu cadres in detecting stunting increased. This community service concludes that training can improve the knowledge and skills of Posyandu cadres in detecting stunting during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The community empowerment program is an activity that aims to increase the understanding and knowledge of the community in utilizing the existing potential. The level of understanding and knowledge of the community in Bahbutong Village is still limited in carrying out activities to utilize the potential of the village, this is related to the not optimal community empowerment efforts carried out. One of the potentials that can be pursued and reprocessed so as to get direct benefits that can be felt by the village community is tea leaves. So far, people only know that tea leaves are only for food and drink, so they have not been able to make a big contribution to the village economy. Utilization of tea leaves in Bahbutong Village can be an effort to improve the village economy through community empowerment activities carried out by the village government. The tea leaves in question are unused leaves or leftovers from tea plantations in Bahbutong Village. The method used in this research is the participatory rural appraisal (PRA) method. The results obtained in this study are new innovations in the use of tea leaves, namely the manufacture of tea aromatherapy candles that can provide relaxation for breathing and can also optimize community empowerment programs so that the village economy can increase

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge about the importance of digital marketing in the era of industry 4.0, as well as provide direct training on making videos as a medium for promotion. The object of the service activity is the entire Management of Omah Smart Farmers Tourism Object (OPP) Kandri Tourism Village and Tourism Awareness Group Managers (Pokdarwis) Semarang City. Service activities are carried out in three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation monitoring stage. The results of the service activities consist of the preparation stage in the form of coordination with the Head of the Kandri Tourism Village to find out the problems that exist in the Kandri Tourism Village. The service activity was considered successful, as evidenced by the implementation stage of all participants who were targeted to attend and were very enthusiastic in asking questions during the training. Many participants asked for advice in determining the right material to promote, and various tricks to get interesting promotional media. At the monitoring stage, the service team communicates through social media to find out the development of service activities. And the evaluation stage is carried out by asking for feedback from service participants as the basis for improving further service activities. the service team communicates through social media to find out the development of service activities. Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia continues increasing significantly, even positive cases reached up to 235,173,857 people. The existence of Student Work Study (KKM) activities is expected to make a positive contribution during the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia. In connection with the condition of the spread of Covid-19 which is still increasing, KKM implementation activities in Kesugengan Kidul village, Depok Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency must certainly be creative in order to stay safe and the purpose of activities is achieved. Starting from student fielding and data collection of partnership problems by applying health protocols properly. The method of carrying out activities is carried out with various efforts, including by providing education through leaflets, brochures, sticking brochures on the walls of elementary schools, by limiting the implementation of learning activities, provide education and examples of vitamins both tablets and derived from fruit in the form of nutritious foods that the body needs during the Covid-19 pandemic, even educating through door to door method to local citizen. Expectation of understanding and insight of citizens in the place of KKM partnerships are increasing about the prevention of Covid-19. The results and benefits of KKM activities towards partnerships include increasing public awareness of the prevention of Covid-19, one of which understands the importance of using masks, especially 2-layer masks. The community is more cooperative towards the efforts and programs of village officials to prevent the increase in the spread of the Covid-19 virus, increased citizen insight in partnership on vitamins needed and useful to increase endurance to fight covid-19 and discipline to implement health protocols in an effort to prevent and suppress the spread of Covid-19 in the partnership area of Kesugengan Kidul Village, Depok Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

Teachers in facing the challenges of rapid technological advances are expected to always adapt to the times, which are required to always innovate and be creative to be able to create quality graduates. So that students have good provisions in facing the challenges ahead. Teachers who teach at Vocational High Schools majoring in office automation and governance include Office Technology subjects. The Office Technology subject contains practical material regarding the use of applications for office or administrative activities, which as the name suggests is currently the office administration department changed to the office automation and governance department. However, the applications used for learning related to the use of applications and the application of digital offices, especially the creation of digital presences to switch to paperless, are still very minimal or even non-existent. Learning office technology, which has been difficult for teachers to provide and provide skills to students related to applications that support the digitization of offices through office technology subjects. In the era of computerization, it affects administrative management in an organization, as well as a student majoring in office automation and governance must have competence in mastering digitalization and office automation skills.

Abstract

The difficulty of business actors in carrying out financial records is the background for the issuance of SAK EMKM. Several businesses that have been running, it was found that business actors did not keep financial records properly. Sometimes, cash outflows and cash inflows are not recorded, so there is no control over cash flows. This community service aims to socialize SAK EMKM in increasing knowledge of accounting records to business actors in Buninagara, Cipedes. This community service is in the form of socialization with the lecture method, question and answer, and discussion of micro business actors. The results show that business actors have begun to recognize and realize the importance of carrying out financial records, especially according to the Financial Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM), 22% of participants have understood financial records according to Financial Accounting Standards.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that continues to increase not only nationally but also globally. Tuberculosis is a problem for sufferers both physically and psychologically, it can even cause negative stigma from themselves and society, so the disease affects the quality of life of the sufferer. Tuberculosis treatment that is long enough and requires compliance can cause susceptible to drop out (DO), finally will increase the risk of cases of Multi Drug Resistance (MDR). The role of nurses is needed in ensuring tuberculosis patient adherence in treatment. Patient will be understand that tuberculosis is important in the treatment process. Education is a strategy in increasing patient understanding to change positive behavior for tuberculosis sufferers. The aim of this community service is to implement Health Belief Models (HBM) Education in Tuberculosis patients. This method used lectures, interviews and practice. The results found that the implementation of HBM on 19 patients who visited Tamansari primary health care for 3 months showed a significant result in behavior and quality of life. HBM education can change the quality of life of tuberculosis sufferers by changing perceptions of the disease which includes perceptions of vulnerability, perception of severity, perceived benefits, perceptions of barriers and a person's belief in healthy behavior. It is recommended that HBM education should continue to be implemented for tuberculosis sufferers so that they can maintain their survival.
