Abstract

With the issuance of Law no. Law No. 3 of 2020 replaces Law No. 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining. It is hoped that it will position the Indonesian state as the sovereign party over its natural resources. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate the problem, namely how to study the legal politics of Law No. 3 of 2020 concerning Mineral Mining. And Coal towards the obligation to process and refine mining products domestically. The research method is normative with several approaches, namely the Conceptual Approach and the Statute Approach. From the results of the author's research, it was found that the government considers it necessary to increase the added value of minerals through domestic mineral resource processing and refining activities, as intended in Article 103 and Article 170 of Law Number 3 of 2020 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining, so the government then promulgate Government Regulation (PP) No. 96 of 2021 which is an amendment to PP No. 1 of 2014 concerning Implementation of Mineral and Coal Mining Business Activities. One of the important regulations in this PP is the obligation to carry out 100% mineral refining domestically so that there will be no more exports of raw minerals by mining companies. The aim of banning exports of raw minerals is to increase fiscal added value while creating jobs. Because mining companies are required to build processing plants or smelters in the country. In this way, new job opportunities will be opened for the Indonesian people

Abstract

Drainage is a system created to overcome the problem of excess water above ground and water below ground. The performance of the drainage system is determined by using good construction techniques, carrying out routine and periodic maintenance. Heavy rains not only cause surface water runoff but also urban surface water runoff which forms puddles of water due to the low carrying capacity of the drainage system. One of the areas that experienced flooding in the city of Denpasar was Jalan Antasura in the Peguyangan Kaja area, North Denpasar, which was caused by blockage of channels by sediment caused by rubbish. This research monitors and evaluates rainfall, flood discharge and water capacity in drainage channels. The results of the calculation evaluation and comparison with HEC-RAS modeling show that the water capacity in the drainage channel at the 0-800 m point does not meet the design flood discharge results for all return periods, so it is predicted that the drainage channel will cause flooding, while the water capacity in the drainage channel at the point 800-1000 m still meets the design flood discharge at the 2 year and 5 year return periods, but does not meet the 10 year return period, so it is predicted that the drainage channel will still meet capacity if channel normalization is carried out every year.

Abstract

This research discusses the Effectiveness of Online-Based Social Welfare Services at the West Sumbawa District Social Office. It focuses on the effectiveness and quality of online-based social welfare services provided by the West Sumbawa District Social Office. This research aims to understand the impact and progress of online-based service implementation in the context of social welfare. This study utilizes a quantitative descriptive approach to gather the necessary data to measure the effectiveness and quality of social welfare services at the West Sumbawa District Social Office. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of online-based social welfare services show that the implementation significantly improves the effectiveness of social welfare services. Factors such as the implementation of standard operating procedures, timeliness of service completion, cost transparency, quality of facilities and infrastructure, staff behavior, and qualifications all have a positive impact on service performance.

Abstract

This research is aim to analize the effect of work discipline and professionalism towards work performance of the Marine Corps in Lanal Mataram. The population of this research is 210 peaple and 42 people samples.This research using Questionaire technic as data collection method while SPSS application is required on data analysis. The result of this reserach shows 3 different hypothesis testing results. Based on first testing results indicates work discipline and professionalism simultanously give a of and significant effect towards the work performance of the Marine Corps in Lanal Mataram. The second testing shows work discipline partialy give a positive and significant effect towards the work performance, and the testing result show how profesionalism partialy effected the work performance in positive anf significant way.

Abstract

The Oongan Irrigation Area, which is located in East Denpasar as part of the Tukad Ayung River Basin, has a potential land area of 1781 Ha, but only 617 Ha has been utilized. In March 2019, the average discharge reached 680 l/second, while the Oongan intake gate required a discharge of 880.7 l/s for the rice growing period. Based on these data, there is a need for in-depth research in the Oongan Irrigation Area regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of irrigation canals.. The research method used is the survey method. Based on the results of the analysis of the efficiency of the primary and secondary canals and the effectiveness of the Oongan Irrigation Area, the percentage results were 80.47%, 94.1% and 35% which showed that the primary canal was not efficient and irrigation that was not effective was below the standard value, namely 90% and 55%. There needs to be an improvement both in the water management system and the physical improvement of irrigation infrastructure. Meanwhile, secondary canals get an average yield with a percentage of 94.1% which is included in the efficient category so that it needs to be maintained and carried out maintenance through operational and maintenance activities on irrigation canals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and learning behavior on the understanding of accounting students at Mataram University. The research method used in this research is a survey method with the form of written questions through a questionnaire as many as 249 students as samples in this study. Data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) technique through SmartPLS 3.0 software application. The results showed that emotional intelligence has no effect on accounting understanding because the ability to understand accounting while studying does not always depend on self-control, social skills, but spiritual intelligence has a significant effect on accounting understanding, and learning behavior has an effect on accounting understanding

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of the implementation of the Community-Based Integrated Child Protection Program (PATBM) in handling cases of violence against children in West Sumbawa Regency. The aims of this research are; 1) To find out the implementation of the PATBM program in handling violence against children in West Sumbawa Regency. 2) To analyze community perceptions of the implementation of the PATBM program in handling cases of violence against children in West Sumbawa Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach because researchers want to find facts related to the effectiveness of implementing PATBM in the context of monitoring and evaluation at the West Sumbawa Regency Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Control (DP2KBP3A) Population Control Service. The research informants involved were 25 respondents. These respondents were divided into two groups, namely: the first group, Head of Service, Head of Division, 2 Kasie, and 1 head of UPTD PPA West Sumbawa Regency with a total of 5 respondents, the second group, representing the community victims of violence in West Sumbawa Regency. The research results showed that the implementation of the Community-Based Integrated Child Protection Program (PATBM) in West Sumbawa Regency reflects a very relevant approach in handling cases of violence against children. Community perception of the implementation of the Community-Based Integrated Child Protection Program (PATBM) in handling violence against children in West Sumbawa Regency is very important in evaluating the effectiveness of this program.  The implementation of the PATBM program in handling violence against children in West Sumbawa Regency has had a significant positive impact in protecting children from various forms of violence

Abstract

Article 33 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution, which states that: "Earth and water and the wealth contained therein are controlled by the State and used for the greatest prosperity of the people." Epistemologically, this shows that there are at least two main things relating to the relationship between the State, the people and the region (agrarian). The agrarian problem starts from the very prominent inequality in land tenure structures. The control structure in this case is the distribution or distribution arrangement, both regarding ownership and control over agrarian resources, including the distribution of allocation or allocation. Many agrarian conflicts occur between communities, many land conflicts that occur within communities are resolved through mediation both at the village level and at the regional level with the existence of mediation halls that have been prepared by the government of each region, but if a deliberative settlement does not meet the results then the final step is The solution taken is settlement through litigation. Litigation is used by the community, bringing it to court (in the form of a dispute), to implement/enforce a certain right, through a judicial process (competition of evidence), to obtain a favorable decision

Abstract

This research delves into the challenges faced by students at STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa in their pursuit of English language proficiency, with a specific focus on vocabulary acquisition, a fundamental aspect of language learning. Through a qualitative lens, this study delves into the effectiveness of two teaching methods: Role-Play and Preview/Review. The findings underscore the advantages of the Role-Play method in bolstering vocabulary comprehension, while simultaneously shedding light on the hurdles related to pronunciation and self-assurance. In a contrasting vein, the Preview/Review approach, leveraging students' native language and supplementary materials, emerges as a facilitator for efficient vocabulary acquisition. This research places a notable emphasis on the imperative need to address pronunciation challenges, boost students' self-confidence, and introduces a promising hybrid teaching strategy. The recommendations outlined encompass targeted interventions, the amalgamation of teaching methods, the promotion of effective learning strategies, and the dissemination of these findings as a valuable educational resource. In sum, this study significantly contributes to the realm of English language education at STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa. It not only offers practical insights for educators and institutions but also strives to enhance the overall vocabulary learning experience for students, thereby adding a valuable dimension to the educational landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of independence, effectiveness of local original income and regional expenditure on regional financial performance at the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province (RFAMA). This research is quantity with the type of data in the form of documentary data. The population used in this study is all regencies and cities in East Java Province consisting of 2 cities and 8 regencies contained in the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province (RFAMA) with an observation period in 2011-2021. The sampling technique in this study is a purposive sampling technique with a sample number of 110 data. The study was analyzed by simple linear regression using the SPSS program. The results of this study show that Regional Independence and Regional Revenue Effectiveness do not affect Regional Financial Performance, on the contrary, Regional Expenditure has a positive effect on Regional Financial Performance.
