Abstract

This study presents an increase in natural science learning achievement through the CTL model in class VA students at Karangroto 02 State Elementary School. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research is planned for two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II, if it is not successful it will be continued in the next cycle. The CAR method used in this study is the CAR method according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart which uses a reflection spiral system consisting of several cycles. In the Kemmis and Mc Taggart methods it is explained that in one cycle or round consists of four components, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that, in the first cycle, the classical percentage was 32.5% with an average class of 58, while the second cycle obtained 87.5% classical completeness with an average class of 70. It can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model can improve learning achievement. Science class Va elementary school students.

Abstract

Reading and writing are important basic academic skills. Even so, it turns out that quite a lot of elementary school students in Indonesia have not mastered it. The child's ability to recognize words when reading is influenced by the teaching method or teaching method used by the teacher. This research is based on the opinion that when students are taught using techniques or methods that suit their learning style, they will find it easier, faster, and can retain and apply concepts more easily for further learning. The subjects in this study were nine students of grade 1 B at SD IT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan who showed less achievement in reading than their peers. In this regard, to train and improve beginning reading skills in grade 1 students. The method used is the Syllabic Method (Syllabic Method). The syllable method is a method that starts teaching reading beginning by presenting words that have been assembled into syllables, then the syllables are arranged into words. The results of this study indicate that in carrying out initial reading through the Syllabic Method with the help of the AHE (Great Boy) book, students are expected to be able and easily recognize letters, syllables, and sentences in order to improve their reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of democratic concepts in MI Muhammadiyah Lemah Dadi Bantul. This research uses descriptive approach of skin. The subject of this research is the principal and teachers of MI Muhammadiyah Lemah Dadi. Data analysis techniques in this study begins with the presentation of data, namely the presentation of data obtained in the field. After that, data reduction, which is choosing and sorting the required data and then continued with the verification, the data inferred according to the problem under study. Based on the results of this study shows the implementation of the concept of democratic leadership in MI Lemah Dadi Bantul, conducted by finding the foundation of philosophy, drafting the concept, mechanism implementation, and find the advantages and disadvantages of the concept of democratic leadership and can be a concept in the application of democratic leadership in their respective institutions.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: To increase creativity and learning outcomes through a contextual approach in class V of elementary school. This type of research is a class action research of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were fifth grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation and tests. There is an increase in student creativity as indicated by an increase in student attitudes when participating in learning in each cycle. In cycle I with a percentage of 66.5% including sufficient criteria. In cycle II, a percentage of 84.5% was obtained with good creativity criteria. Student learning outcomes can be seen from the mastery of student learning in cycle I with an average score of 65.2 and 60% mastery of learning, then in cycle II it increases with an average value of 82 and 90% of learning completeness. contextual can increase creativity and learning outcomes through a contextual approach in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

Talent is an activity that is liked by children who come from internal. Talent is not formed by a combination of supporting aspects. One aspect is the family environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of growing children's talents in the family environment according to Munif Chatib and to determine the role of parents in growing children's talents according to Munif Chatib,. The method used in this study was a qualitative approach with analytical library types. descriptive. Data collection techniques using the technique of documentation and content analysis. This method is used to find out Munif Chatib's thoughts about the concept of growing elementary school age talent in a family environment. Based on data analysis, it was found that (1) the concept of growing elementary school talent in a family environment according to Munif Chatib is not to make the home as a child talent killing machine; (2) the role of parents in developing talent according to Munif Chatib as an educator, motivator, facilitator and as a model.

Abstract

This research was motivated because it saw the delinquency or bad behavior of young children. For this reason, special attention is needed from educators in schools in shaping their religious behavior. Likewise in SDIT Husnayain, this SDIT has an effort to shape the religious behavior of its students. This study aims to describe and analyze what forms of school efforts in shaping student religious behavior, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the school's efforts at SDIT Husnayain Tempel Sleman Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative study with the background of SDIT Husnayain Tempel Sleman Yogyakarta. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, observations and documentation. This study also uses the data validity method with source and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate two things: (1) School efforts to shape students' religious behavior through the intraculcular curriculum and support programs. (2) Supporting factors in shaping the religious behavior of students at SDIT Husnayain include school factors and factors of school collaboration with student guardians. While the things that become the inhibiting factors include family and community.

Abstract

This study was motivated by low motivation of students This study aims to find out the impact of port lane as social environment so that it has impact on education in SDN 03 Sintete because most of students live around the port. The study used qualitative approach and data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Sampling technique used is sampling purposive that determination of the sample based on certain consideration. The result showed that port lane had positive impact on the socioeconomic society in Sintete. However, port lane also had negative impact for student’s education in SDN 03 Sintete.

Abstract

One of the features that shows that Islam is rahmatan lil'alamin is that Islam really values differences. The problem as well as the threat faced by Indonesia in the context of diversity is the emergence of radicalism. Not a little that the target of the radicalism movement is students at the elementary education level. The influence exerted for example through content on social media, radical religious movements, and provoking students to participate in spreading the understanding of radicalism. Students who are at the level of basic education are individuals in their growth and development who are easily influenced by the environment. The purpose of this study is to elaborate on the role of Islamic basic education in preventing radicalism. This research uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. The results in this study indicate that the role of Islamic basic education in preventing radicalism is to implement multicultural education. Multicultural education can be understood as a concept and context in the administration of education. The aim is that every learning that is carried out in a multicultural madrasa, both in religious learning, religious activities, and in other learning.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to describe the leadership of madrasah headmaster to improve teacher performance. This research method uses qualitative methods and the research subjects are madrasah school principals and teachers. Data collection is done with interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis uses miles & huberman analysis models with the sequence of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. This research shows (1). The importance of the leadership role of the madrasah headmaster to improving teacher performance through a teacher's professional improvement by attending a seminar, subject teachers' deliberations (MGMP) (2). The leadership of the madrasah school principal in creating a conducive cultural climate of madrasah school which encourages teachers in teaching students to improve their character and moral of the learners.

Abstract

The accuracy in choosing a learning strategy is a very important part in efforts to improve the achievement of student learning outcomes. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of learning strategies on mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a 2x2 factorial design research. Through this design the effects of Interactive learning strategies and problem-based learning will be compared to student mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of grade IV SDN 09 Kaba Wetan, totaling 76 students, consisting of 2 classes. To determine the sample class, a random sampling technique is used. The sample classes used were 2 classes totaling 76 students, class IV-A as an Interactive class and class IV-B as a problem-based class. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. And testing the analysis requirements is the normality test using the Lilifors Test, while the homogeneity requirements are using the F Test and Barlett Test. After testing the analysis requirements, the two-way variance analysis of Analilsis is performed. The results of this study indicate that there is an interaction effect between learning strategies on student mathematics learning outcomes. So that the selection of appropriate learning strategies is influenced by the ability of teachers to understand the characteristics of their students. In the learning strategy applied by the teacher can optimize student mathematics learning outcomes by choosing class strategies namely Interactive learning and problem based learning classes.
