Abstract

This study aims to look at the correlation between Critical Discourse Analysis and Free Essays of Class IV MIN 2 Sleman Yogyakarta students. This research uses quantitative research methods. The researcher distributed questionnaires to all grade 4 students because the papulation class did not reach 100 students, so the researchers chose all students to be sampled in this study. Therefore, the population in this study is also a research sample to collect quantitative data. The result of simple correlation analysis obtained the correlation between Critical Discourse Analysis with Free Essay Writing Skills is 0.295. This shows that there is a fairly strong relationship between Critical Discourse Analysis with Essay Writing Skills. While the direction of the relationship is positive because the value of r is positive, it means that the higher the Critical Discourse Analysis, the more the students write essay writing skills.

Abstract

School is one of the educational institutions that organizes the teaching and learning process to guide, educate, train and develop student’s abilities to achieve educational goals, including human character at MI Al-Falah Kuncung there is a habit, especially in carrying out daily habits. The focus of research on this thesis is as follows is the implementation of the habit forming learning model in the adiwiyata school MI Al-Falah Kuncung Banyuarang Ngoro Jombang and the holistic personality of the fourth grade personality of the fourth grade students at MI Al-Falah Kuncung Banyuarang Ngoro Jombang adiwiyata school. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research setting took place at MI Al-Falah Kuncung Banyuarang Ngoro Jombang. Meanwhile the data sources are teachers of aqidah morals, classroom teachers, students, and directors. Way of unifying data using interviews, observation, and archiving. The research results obtained by the researcher are as follows the application of the habit forming learning model starting from (the habit formation model sequence) the steps of habit forming in students habits are carried out continuously and someone or role model, and a holistic personality what is seen in grade IV students is that they are able to apply moral behavior, and also position their behavior as a student, but they have not been able to control their own behavior, this can be seen from the attitudes of some students when learning aqidah morals takes place they do not concentrate and tend not to pay attention to the teacher.

Abstract

One of the features that shows that Islam is rahmatan lil'alamin is that Islam really values differences. The problem as well as the threat faced by Indonesia in the context of diversity is the emergence of radicalism. Not a little that the target of the radicalism movement is students at the elementary education level. The influence exerted for example through content on social media, radical religious movements, and provoking students to participate in spreading the understanding of radicalism. Students who are at the level of basic education are individuals in their growth and development who are easily influenced by the environment. The purpose of this study is to elaborate on the role of Islamic basic education in preventing radicalism. This research uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. The results in this study indicate that the role of Islamic basic education in preventing radicalism is to implement multicultural education. Multicultural education can be understood as a concept and context in the administration of education. The aim is that every learning that is carried out in a multicultural madrasa, both in religious learning, religious activities, and in other learning.

Abstract

The destination of this research is to knowing about fungtion of Javanese language studying from two sides: 1) purpose and fungsion from Javanese language studying as a local subject for class IV at Al-kautsar elementary school Yogyakarta, 2) realization of Javanese language studying as a local subject for class IV at Alkautsar elementary school Yogyakarta. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The technique of collecting data are interview, observation, and documents collection. Codification, presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions or verifications. This research used a triangulation technique for checking the validity of the findings. There are two conclusion from this research: 1) the direction or purpose and function of learning Javanese language class IV in MI Plus Al-kautsar doesn’t going well as a DIY governor regulation number 64 of 2013. 2) the implementation of class IV Javanese language learning in MI Plus Al-kautsar for its curriculum has followed the 2013 curriculum. In Javanese language leraning, the meeting time is only two hours in a week, and it’s was utilized as much as possible by Mrs. Muthi as a Javanese language teacher. In the learning process, she not only conveys the material, but she also provides motivation to students, inviting them to talk about their experiences in accordance with the theme under discussion, and by this method the students being active in the study. Delivery of motivation is done at the beginning of learning and at the end of learning, while for the evaluation or assessment of learning she only uses written assessment technique.

Abstract

The accuracy in choosing a learning strategy is a very important part in efforts to improve the achievement of student learning outcomes. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of learning strategies on mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a 2x2 factorial design research. Through this design the effects of Interactive learning strategies and problem-based learning will be compared to student mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of grade IV SDN 09 Kaba Wetan, totaling 76 students, consisting of 2 classes. To determine the sample class, a random sampling technique is used. The sample classes used were 2 classes totaling 76 students, class IV-A as an Interactive class and class IV-B as a problem-based class. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. And testing the analysis requirements is the normality test using the Lilifors Test, while the homogeneity requirements are using the F Test and Barlett Test. After testing the analysis requirements, the two-way variance analysis of Analilsis is performed. The results of this study indicate that there is an interaction effect between learning strategies on student mathematics learning outcomes. So that the selection of appropriate learning strategies is influenced by the ability of teachers to understand the characteristics of their students. In the learning strategy applied by the teacher can optimize student mathematics learning outcomes by choosing class strategies namely Interactive learning and problem based learning classes.

Abstract

This study aims to increase science creativity through cooperative learning in grade 4 MIN Jayapura City. This type of research is a class action research of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, implementation of the action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students of grade 4 MIN Jayapura City. Data collection techniques using observation. There is an increase in student creativity, as indicated by student attitudes when participating in learning in each cycle. In cycle I, with a percentage of 74%, including sufficient criteria. In cycle II, a percentage of 92.5% was obtained with very good creativity criteria. The cooperative learning model can increase science creativity in grade 4 MIN Jayapura City.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the importance of value education to be reconstructed in Elementary School in the contemporary education. This study was a library research with descriptive exploratory based on the results of reflective evaluations from the relevant sources and reinforced by field studies from researcher directly. The study results revealed that the increasingly widespread the mischief of Elementary School students provided an open space to reconstruct the value education. So, it was necessary to take steps in implementing value education including the program routine of "moral guidances", strengthening tolerance in the school environment, providing good examples by the teachers, and building a culture of "inclusive schools". While to reconstruct value education as a solution which could be done through: 1) mapping schools where were prone to mischief, 2) synergizing between schools, academics, community leaders, and police, 3) comprehensively integrating the science across all subjects, 4) adopting a system of pesantren education, 5) organizing and ensuring the school programs in the short, medium, and long terms, 6) synergizing two educational institutions (school and madrasah diniyah), and 7) implementing the power of prayer from the teachers in their every ritual.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe the types of language ability and skill evaluation tests, especially speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects for elementary school-age children. The writing of this article was carried out by means of literature study, namely collecting relevant information related to the topic that was the object of discussion. The background for this writing was because the portion for evaluating speaking competence in Indonesian language lessons at the elementary school level was still lacking. Evaluation in the field of elementary school Indonesian language lessons was more emphasized on aspects of reading and writing. Although in fact, language competence consists of at least 4 aspects, namely listening, reading, speaking and writing. The implementation and evaluation of learning Indonesian should refer to the fulfillment of the 4 competencies in a balanced portion and not be heavy on one of them. Evaluation of speaking competence could improve the quality of learning as a whole, both knowledge, concepts, values and the process of learning Indonesian in class. The form of speaking evaluation tests could be in the form of short talks based on pictures, interviews, retelling, free speech/speech, guided conversations, and discussions.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The learning model is a pattern or plan that we can use face-to-face in class which refers to the learning approach used, in which there are teaching objectives, stages in learning activities, learning environment, and class management. Motivation is very influential on student learning outcomes. In order for students' learning motivation to increase, teachers need to choose the right learning model. This study aims to describe and explain the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by audio-visual media in elementary schools and to find out how to increase the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 05 Troso. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research. The location of this research was carried out at SD N 05 Troso Jalan Raya Kudus Jepara, Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency, Central Java Province. the research subjects were fourth grade students at SD N 05 Troso, totaling 25 students. The results of the study concluded that the application of the CTL model assisted by kinemaster-based audio-visual learning media to PPKN material can increase students' learning motivation because the CTL model has a link between learning material and real life so that students can understand concepts and feel involved in learning. With the addition of kinemaster-based animated video learning media students can more easily understand and remember the material. Abstract

This thesis examines the field of educational administration, particularly with regard to the skill and competency requirements of education administrators in the information age shaped by digital technology. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the skills that must be mastered by administrators in the field of educational administration in the midst of very rapid technological developments. The methodology used in this study is qualitative-descriptive and based on a literature review. The data in this study were collected through documentation techniques from various important sources regarding the topic. The results of the study conclude that in this digital era, there are great benefits in information access and connectivity, but also new challenges related to information reliability, privacy and data security. It is important for individuals and communities to use digital technology wisely and be aware of its impact, and to face the challenges of the digital era with effective and responsive efforts.
