Abstract

This research delves into the impact of Promotion and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) on Visit Decision at the tourist destination, Kampung Lali Gadget in Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo, both simultaneously and partially, while also identifying the most dominant variable influencing the decision. The study adopts a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The target population consists of Kampung Lali Gadget visitors, though the exact number remains undetermined. The primary focus is on visitors who have been to Kampung Lali Gadget within the past three months (July-September 2024), have seen relevant promotions, and engaged in sharing reviews, recommendations, or opinions on social media or other review platforms about this destination. The sampling technique used follows a probability sampling approach, specifically employing cluster random sampling. This choice is due to the undefined quantity of the population, prompting sample size calculation based on Cochran’s formula. The result yielded a sample of 96 respondents. Data analysis was conducted in depth through instrument testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression. Findings from this study indicate that both promotion and e-WOM exert a positive and statistically significant impact on visit decisions from a simultaneous perspective. However, in a partial perspective, promotion shows a positive and significant effect on visit decisions, while e-WOM, though positively associated, lacks statistical significance in this study. Promotion emerges as the most dominant variable influencing the Visit Decision to Kampung Lali Gadget in Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo. Keywords : Promotion, Electronic Word Of Mouth (e-WOM), Visiting Decision

Questionnaires were distributed to all employees at the 8 Toko Edukits stores. A total of 71 employees filled out the questionnaires manually during the research period from May to June 2024. The questionnaires employed a Likert scale for responses. Data from the questionnaires were processed using SPSS 29. Instrument tests were conducted to assess validity and reliability. Furthermore, classic assumption tests, including normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test, were performed, all yielding satisfactory results. Hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test) was conducted using SPSS 29. The study results indicate that organizational culture has a significant influence on the performance of Toko Edukits employees; work motivation significantly affects employee performance at Toko Edukits; competence also significantly impacts the performance of Toko Edukits employees; and simultaneously, organizational culture, work motivation, and competence significantly influence employee performance at Toko Edukits.

Abstract

local products face significant challenges due to the dominance of international brands that appeal strongly to consumers. However, the growing awareness among Indonesian consumers about the importance of supporting domestic products presents strategic opportunities for local brands such as Ventela. This study aims to examine the influence of consumer ethnocentrism and consumer preferences on purchase intention and purchase decision regarding Ventela brand footwear in Pasuruan Regency. A quantitative explanatory research method was applied, involving 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Respondents were required to have experience purchasing or knowledge of Ventela shoes. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measured with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using path analysis in SPSS. The results indicate that both ethnocentrism and consumer preferences have a direct, positive, and significant effect on purchase intention. Furthermore, purchase intention significantly affects purchase decision and acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between ethnocentrism, consumer preferences, and purchase decision. These findings underline the importance of nationalistic sentiment and positive perceptions of product attributes in fostering loyalty toward local brands. The study recommends that local footwear producers reinforce brand communication that highlights local values and simultaneously enhance product quality to match consumer preferences. This research contributes practical insights into developing marketing strategies for local creative industries, especially in competitive consumer markets, by emphasizing values-based and consumer-centered approaches.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of product diversity, pricing, and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions in a traditional household retail context, focusing on Store Pecah Belah Anugrah in Bukit Tinggi, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the research utilized primary and secondary data gathered through questionnaires, interviews, and observations from a sample of 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, regression model feasibility assessments, descriptive statistics, and binary logistic regression. The findings reveal that both product diversity and product quality exert a significant and positive influence on consumer purchasing decisions, while price demonstrates a negative and statistically insignificant impact. The logistic regression model established that product diversity (Exp(B) = 1.234, p < 0.01) is the most dominant factor influencing consumer choice, indicating that greater product variety enhances the likelihood of purchase by 23.4%. Product quality also showed a significant positive effect (Exp(B) = 1.198, p < 0.05), suggesting that consumers value functional and aesthetic attributes in household goods. Conversely, price (Exp(B) = 0.989, p > 0.05) was not a decisive factor, implying that perceived value, driven by assortment and quality, supersedes price sensitivity in this market segment. The study extends existing consumer behavior theories by affirming that productrelated attributes, especially diversity and quality, are pivotal in traditional retail contexts in developing regions. Practically, the results suggest that retailers should prioritize enhancing product assortments and maintaining quality standards over engaging in price-based competition. These insights have strategic implications for SME retail development and consumer satisfaction in non-metropolitan settings.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze human resource development practices in MSMEs Tum Tim Cookies & Bakery in Sidoarjo. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data was obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the thematic techniques of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed that HR training was conducted informally, based on hands-on experience in the workplace without any written training procedures or modules. Learning occurs through daily practice guided directly by business owners, in accordance with the principle of experiential learning. Although capable of forming basic skills, a structured evaluation system to measure the effectiveness of training objectively has not been found. Performance appraisals are carried out subjectively and awards are given based on loyalty and work responsibility. Another interesting finding is the implementation of a work culture based on religious values (religion company), where employees are recruited only from among Muslims. This approach strengthens team cohesion and shared values, but also poses challenges related to diversity and inclusivity. This study concludes that human resource development in household-scale MSMEs like this is relational, intuitive, and contextual, but has not been institutionalized systematically. The practical implications of this study include the importance of the preparation of SOPs, training logbooks, and the development of simple evaluation systems that are adaptive to local culture. This study also makes a theoretical contribution in developing an experience and community value-based training model to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in a sustainable manner
