Abstract

Industri sangkar burung berkicau tumbuh dan berkembang sejalan dengan semakin meningkatnya penggemar burung berkicau, baik pengemar rumahan maupun pelomba burung berkicau. Tulisan ini merupakan kajian pustaka dan menggunakan metoda Analisis Struktur Industri. Partisipan pada Industri Sangkar Burung Berkicau ini sebagian besar adalah Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Indonesia yang seluruhnya berjumlah hamper 60 juta orang. Hasil analisis kekuatan industri ini adalah bahwa hanya ancaman masuknya pendatang baru yang tinggi, sedangkan kekuatan lainnya yaitu ancaman dari produk substitusi, bargaining power of buyer, bargaining power of supplier, serta intensitas persaingan (kecuali pada partisipan berskala usaha menengah), semuanya rendah.            Melihat kondisi kekuatan-kekuatan yang berpengaruh tersebut, maka dimungkinkan penerapan strategi bersaing Cost Leaderships, Product Differentiation, strategi Focus. Strategi kemitraaan antara produsen sangkar berskala kecil/mikro dengan produsen berskala menengah juga berjalan dengan baik dan alamiah.Key  word : Cost Leaderships, Product differentiation dan Focus

Abstract

o realize food self-sufficiency in Indonesia, it needs to be supported by effective distribution of subsidizedfertilizer. The main causes of ineffective distribution of subsidized fertilizers are irregularities, weak oversightfrom implementing institutions and weak community control. Likewise, the aspects of transparency andinformation disclosure in the chain of subsidized fertilizer implementation are also still weak. So far, theregulations governing the mechanism for implementing subsidized fertilizer distribution policies are quiteadequate but their implementation is still weak. In this study a descriptive approach is used to explore anddescribe the development of distribution as well as the strategies adopted to obtain more effective alternativedistribution of subsidized fertilizer. This study also compares the policy of distribution of subsidized fertilizersin several countries. Based on the results of the study, several schemes or alternative distribution of subsidizedfertilizer are still needed in Indonesia. Irregularities occur because of errors in the collection of data "RDKK", the distribution of subsidized fertilizers to unauthorized parties, the large volume of distribution, procurementand distribution of subsidized fertilizers as well as the obstacles in calculating fertilizer subsidies. Onerecommendation that can be submitted for the distribution of subsidized fertilizers effectively is that severalalternative channels can be implemented. One alternative for the distribution of subsidized fertilizers includesthe use of an electric card through "Gapoktan", distribution of fertilizer subsidies through the use of the PupukIndonesia Mart kiosk and through direct distribution to fertilizer producers in Indonesia.Keywords: fertilizer subsidy policy, distribution scheme, food self-sufficiency

Abstract

The development of the times at this time goes so fast. One area that is quite influential in the field ofHuman Resources. The purpose of this study is to explain the influence of work discipline in sequislife insurancecompanies. The following is included with the training where a series of activities are designed to improve theskills, knowledge, experience, or changes in an individual's attitude in ways to improve the quality of servicesand products and communicate with employees or customers. Both of these elements will influence theincreasing satisfaction and work performance of employees. The data of this study get some importantconclusions that the two elements are very important for employees in an effort to improve employeesatisfaction and work performance in the work environment. Abstract

This study aims to predict financial distress conditions experienced by retail trade companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2017. The population in this study is a retail trade company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017. Total sample are seventeen retail trade companies, namely ACES, AMRT, CENT, CSAP, ECII, ERAA, GOLD, HERO, KOIN, LPPF, MAPI, MPPA, RALS, RANC, RIMO, SONA, TELE. Type of descriptive research. The results of the calculation of financial distress analysis with the Altman Z-Score method explain consistently that companies that experience financial distress are CENT (2014-2017), GOLD (2015-2017), and RIMO (2014-2016). While companies experiencing grey area conditions are CSAP (2014-2017), ECII (2015-2017), GOLD (2014), and MPPA (2016-2017).Keywords: financial distress, Altman Z-Score method, financial ratio

Abstract

There are various efforts need to be made by the company in dealing with its competitors. One of the efforts made is to prepare resources that have competence and quality so as to improve employee performance. Total Quality Management (TQM) is a concept of maximizing organizational competitiveness through continuous improvement. This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management on performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The population is 69 people. This study used a purposive sampling technique of 47 people. The analysis technique used is descriptive path (Path Analysis) SPSS computer program version 24 for Mac. The results of this study indicate there is an effect of TQM on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction with a magnitude of influence of 89.2%. The path analysis results show that the direct effect of TQM on employee performance is smaller than the indirect effect of TQM on employee performance through job satisfactionKeywords: Total Quality Management, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance

Abstract

Improving employee performance also affects the performance of the company. One of the factors that influence employee performance is employee characteristics (person characteristic). In addition to human characteristics that are able to influence employee performance, leadership style also contributes to this. Especially PT Rotaryana Engineering employees with a total sample of 60 people. Where leadership is able to bring a company to be more advanced and able to compete. Based on the analysis of the hypothesis test with t test obtained significant value of Individual Characteristics of 0.035 <5% (0.035 <0.05), and the significant value of the variable X2 Leadership Style of 0.000 <5 % (0,000 <0.05), thus Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted and Ho (null hypothesis) is rejected. So it can be concluded that the Individual Characteristics and Leadership Style partially have a significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT Rotaryana Engineering.While the results of the analysis of the hypothesis test with the F test obtained a significant value of 0,000 <5%, (0,000 <0.05). Thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that: independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable meaning that simultaneously Individual Characteristics and Leadership Styles have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Rotaryana Engineering. Furthermore, the determinant coefficient results obtained that the magnitude of the role or contribution of Individual Characteristics and Leadership Styles significantly influence the performance of employees of PT Rotaryana Engineering is equal to 0.604, thus Individual Characteristics and Leadership Styles have a contribution of 60.4% on the performance of employees of PT Rotaryana Engineering and the rest as much as 39.6% is influenced by other factors that the writer did not examine, for example training, work stress, and cooperative relations between employeesKeywords: Individual Characteristics, Leadership Style and Performance

Abstract

Research aims to determine if the quality of service and consumer confidence affect the Onlinepurchase decision on Lazada in East Jakarta, From the population consisting of users of Lazada both in EastJakarta area especially in the area Halim Perdanakusuma, Cijantung, Kampong Makasar, and LubangBuaya, taken samples consisting of 97 respondents.The method of analysis used is a quantitative descriptive method, namely by collecting primary andsecondary data to obtain the necessary statistical values, hereinafter drawn conclusions through partial andsimultaneous hypothesis testing of multiple linear regression. The result of this research is that the influenceof independent variables against dependent variables is indicated by a regression equation: Y = 1,972 +0.075 X1 + 0.384 X2, where Y = Online Purchase Decision on Lazada, X1 = Service Quality, and X2 =Consumer Confidence, where α = 5%: Quality of service partially does not affect the online purchasedecision on Lazada. This is demonstrated by the test statistical value: t-count = 1,736 < t-table = 1.98522, andor sig = 0.85 > α = 0.05. The consumer confidence in a partial has a significant effect on the onlinepurchase decision on Lazada. This is demonstrated by the statistical value of the test: t-count = 6,909 > T-table = 1,986, and or sig = 0.000 > 0.05. The quality of service and consumer confidence jointly has a significanteffect on the online buying decision on Lazada. This is demonstrated by the test statistical value: Fcount =177,508 > Ftable = 2.36, and or sig = 0.00 < 0.05.The coefficient of determination (R2) test indicates that R2is 0.786 which means that 78.6% data ofservice quality and consumer confidence variables can explain the online purchase decision variable, whilethe the remaining 21.4% is explained by other factors not addressed in this study.Keywords: Quality of service, consumer confidence, purchase decision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transfomational leadership style and transactional leadershipstyle on performance (Study at ASDP Indonesia Ferry Limited Company, Sape Branch). This research uses aquantitative approach with a survey method. The total population of 70 ship crews on decks and machines,with saturated sampling techniques. Data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1 to 5.Method of data analysis using multiple linear regression tests, with partial and simultaneous hypothesis testproceeded using SPSS program version 24.0. The results showed that: 1) the transformational leadershipstyle partially had a positive and significant effect on performance; 2) Transactional leadership stylepartially has a positive and significant effect on performance; 3) Transformational leadership style andtransactional leadership style simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on performance.Keywords: Transformational Leadership Style, Transactional Leadership Style, Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine The Effect of Financial Distress and Debt Equity to Ratio on Stock Returns of Banking Sub Sector Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Numbers of sample are 39 companies from 45 banking sub-sector companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018. The methods used for collecting data were documentation or secondary data. And for analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and classic assumption test.Based on the results of the T test, it was concluded that Financial Distress had a positive and significant effect on Stock Return and Debt Equity to Ratio had a positive and significant effect on Stock Return. Based on the F test it was concluded that Financial Distress and Debt Equity to Ratio had a positive significant effect.Keywords: Investment, Financial Distress, Debt Equity to Ratio, Stock Return.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the level of debt as measured by the debt to equity ratio (DER)and return on assets (ROA) on return on equity (ROE). The research uses a quantitative approach to thedesign of causality. The study conducted on coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia StockExchange for the period 2012 - 2017. The sample selection uses a purposive sampling method to obtain 22company samples. The research data is secondary data, namely audited financial statements and receivedthrough the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The hypothesis tested using the panel dataregression method. The analysis found that the leverage ratio measured by DER and profitability measuredby return on assets (ROA) harmed ROE, while ROA had a positive impact on ROE.Keywords: return on equity, leverage, debt to equity ratio, return on assets ratio.
