This research aimed to create an awareness campaign on raising the understanding of the topic as prevention toward the happiness and productivity-killing phenomenon or FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) phenomenon in young adults? social media usage. Qualitaive method was applied in the research by (1) using questionnaire; (2) interviewing the psychological experts; (3) using secondary research such as books, journals, printed articles, and online sources. Then, the researchers drew a solution by analyzing the collected data. The distribution also focused on people who were active users of social media. This research finds that promoting positive thoughts in people who experience FoMO might be an effective solution to combat this type of anxiety. Therefore, the data become the underlying basis toward the making of SayNomoToFomo campaign. Its main strategy is to educate and encourage the target audience to understand and tackle FoMO using a mixture of interactive and printed medium.

The research aims to know the implication of reputation marketing strategy in Broadcast Media Management, how the Reputation Marketing impacts the improvement of Audience awareness. This is a descriptive research using qualitative approach with the methodology of observant participatory. The result is that Reputation Marketing is essential to be conducted specially in new radio station to get attention of audiences. As the result, its increasing the awareness of the radio station and benefit for the radio station is because the increase of the numbers of advertisers.

The existence of signage helped visitors to find the desired direction in one area more quickly and easily. With good and systemized signage, visitors could explore the museum even if there was no museum guide. Besides, a less informative, signage of Sri Baduga Museum had not yet had identity which depicted image to the museum. The purpose of this study was to design a signage that was informative and systemized as well as to characterize the local identity. Data were collected through literature study to obtain the theories that support the study. Observations were conducted to some museums to understand the conditions occured more closely. Direct and structured interviews with the museum manager and practitioners were done to reinforce the observations that have been made. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 respondents who had visited and were visiting Sri Baduga Museum to find out their opinions on signage at the museum. Matrix analysis was used to compare four visual objects from four different museums. Kujang (cleaver) as the identity of West Java is used in visual concept. Pictogram shape used came from the stylized shape of Kujang. The form of designed signage and wayfinding derived from stylized ornamentation found on the roof of this museum building. It was expected that the proposed design can produce signage and wayfinding with visual and good continuity to be more informative, interesting, and can give a good impression for visitors.

Carnival clothing is one form of artists? creativities in fine art, created in various functions. Those functions are viewed based on utility value and the purpose that consistently are embedded in an art work. In addition, several functions of carnival clothing were constructed on the basis of social and cultural conditions that are effective in a certain place. Each and every type of clothing raises perception to everyone else who sees it. Promotion of fashion style and industry through carnival clothing results in diverse perceptions acceptable to the viewers. Audience?s perceptions are also not apart from the key functions, social ones, and the physical ones of those carnival clothings themselves. Those three functions are the common ones of each art work created as communication tool with everyone else. The carnival clothings are communication tools of the fashion designer to the customers, communication between one customer and another one. On the carnival clothing there are also sources of knowledge science, history, technology, and many other explainable meanings. Through carnival clothings, the detectable issues in physical and non-physical structures are identifiable as well as they play role as the space to make more exploration on the dynamics of a community culture. This article aims to answer the functions of carnival clothing, using aesthetic approach, through the theory of clothing functions Roland Barthes and Edmund Burke Feldman?s art functions.

Every animator has a different way of planning to make animated characters motion system. Planning makes animation can be done by making the timing including with the drawing motion pose options on the character, making self-video recording contained own acting choices, and studying references in accordance with the animation that will be created. Creating animated characters requires skills in image selection, acting, and timing. Before going through the process of making animation, an animator must know and understand the characters and situations in a scene. Every movement and action should have a reason to show the personality of the characters in order to complete the story supports. In addition to the nature of the characters, an animator also needs to know the situation in a scene. Many animators use animation principles that have been developed by Walt Disney Studios, USA, to improve their animated creations. Yet, many animators also develop their animated creations using principles that have been developed in Japan. However, the discussion in this paper is the animation using the principles developed in the United States.

Hakkanese experienced several major migrations and ultimately distributed in every corner of the world. From the earlier period, the Hakkanese believed that someone should return to their origin until they settled down. Among much Chinese folklore, the most notable moment of the Hakanese was the transition between the old and the new, commonly called the Chinese New Year or Spring Festival custom. New Year custom roughly started from the beginning of the twelfth of the 23rd lunar month has been extended into the Lantern Festival. From the twelfth of the 23rd lunar month, it began to enter the Small Year festivals, and the Chinese were beginning to prepare series of activities which deals with throwing away the old while welcoming the new. Until New Year Eve, which was the culmination of the Year?s custom, the whole family gathered happily to meet the spring season. New Year activities would continue until the Lantern Festival. But for the Hakka people, the festive atmosphere and activities would continue until the 20th day of the first lunar month, which was called Tian Chuan Festival. After that, the New Year was ended completely. The research method applied was the qualitative method with observation and library research regarding Bangkanese Chinese festival. The observed population in this research is the Hakkanese community in Bangka. This article finds that the Chinese community in several regions in Indonesia still maintains and preserves the original form of the indigenous culture. It can be seen from the Lunar New Year tradition runs by the Hakkanese in Bangka. At the same time, it also reflects the vitality of folk culture and the values of its existence.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of a brief mindfulness based intervention to promote posttraumatic growth in cancer patients. The research design used was untreated control group design with pretest and posttest samples. Subjects in this study were 21 cancer patients that were divided into an experimental group (n = 10) and a control group (n = 11). Data were analyzed using Anova Mixed Design. The analysis showed significant changes of posttraumatic growth in the experimental group (MD=-14,400; p=0,000, p<0,05) and in the control group changes of posttraumatic growth were not significant (MD=-0,273, p=0,914, p>0,05). The results show that a brief mindfulness based intervention, which in this case is mindfulness training and yield significant results towards increased scores of posttraumatic growth in cancer patients. Hence, mindfulness based intervention can be used as one of psychotherapy to help individual psychologically growth.

Article discusses the importance for a designer to understand about psychology and consumers? behaviors that act based on their feelings. Human as a complicated living creature has lot of feelings before making a reaction. The reaction itself is based on their own feeling from their experiences or the others? before. In our daily life, we think a lot based on our feelings. We associate a stimulus with an unconscious physical or emotional response. A designer often needs to make a promotion, branding, and campaign for a product or something else. So, it is important for designers to know their targets and behaviors. By understanding their target behaviors, it is easier to predict or to design the reaction and response when the product or campaign is launched. The understanding of the psychology study is important for a designer as well as understanding the other branch of study beside their own study about aesthetics. When the designer understands a lot of things, they can make a creative, good and useful visual communication.

The research on language learning theories played important role in TCFL research. Article sorts out and summarizes the issues and theories on second language learning and vocabulary learning?s strategies from both Western and Chinese scholars. It can be summarized that Western scholars have started a broad scope research in vocabulary learning strategies since their early times, then, the research? results have helped to give a solid and important foundation for the development of vocabulary learning strategies nowadays. Even though TCFL scholars have realized the importance of vocabulary learning strategies in the process of second language learning and more research are being done, but until now, the amount and quality of research in this field still needs to be improved. There is still a big space in the diversity perspective of research that needs to be filled. Article presents the history and development of the theories of vocabulary learning strategies to help impel and deepen the research of TCFL.

Character education at various universities in Indonesia have been getting attention even has become a priority. However, the extent to which this character education can be designed as an integral part of formal education. This paper discusses the importance of teaching Character building as part of character education in the formal education system in the course of Bina Nusantara University of Character Building. Character Education Building is arranged in a systematic and integrated in the Curriculum Lecture of CBDC. Therefore, one said education act is always active and planned, then education is a conscious act or action in order to change attitudes and code of conduct that is expected humanizing intelligent, skilled, independent, disciplined, and noble. However in the application, design and implementation of the program courses Character building is kept under review by the team as part of efforts for continuous improvement.
