Abstract

Jembrana Regency is placed strategically to keep Bali existence as a building of culture and civilization. Tribe and religious diversity cause Jembrana to be viewed as ’another Bali’, that is a more dynamic and compromising Bali. The current Jembrana is now mesmerizing after less than ten years in self renovation. This article will talk about how strategic bureaucratic innovation in optimalization of public service. Free education and health care policy, that are run consistently by Jembrana’s municipal government, become its frontliner in reaching Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) target. Prof. Dr. I Gede Winasa, former regent of Jembrana, is the main character behind this success. His background as academician and expanded relations from international fund organizations are his crusial ammunition to actualize his obsession absolving Jembrana from poverty, stupidity, and backwardness. Among what happens to this country, Jembrana’s breakthrough is worthy to be adopted in other areas in this country.

Abstract

Social conflict among community in Indonesia has often happened. In this research we will show that social conflict among community is not always involving two different community about their social background: Community of Dalong Society and Tanah Dereng. They have familial relationship, living in the same economic stratification and their religion is same also. Based on the community characteristic, we attempt to explain the causing of the conflict with using the social change approach in relation with conception of Max Weber about authority. According to Weber there are three ways in which power is commonly transformed into authority: traditional authority, rational-legal authority and charismatic authority. To explain the community conflict in our case, we used conception about traditional and rational-legal authority. Directing by these conception, we analyzed that the conflict happened in one side because of changing in traditional authority. There were groups of community member has not obedience to chief of traditional community, and the other side the government has not ability to operate the legal rule.

Environment pollution by non-degradable materials could be decreased in 3Rs that are recycling, reusing, reducing. Recycle method is one of creative methods; the plastic waste could be recycled into matting materials that substitute natural material (pandanus) and also to be alternative upholstery in interior products. Plastic waste treatment process until disposable is easier than natural material which has to go through several stages like drying and staining. What could be gained from pandanus could also be gained from plastic waste, so there are many things probable products could be designed. The important thing that must be observed in the ad is the message in it. Messages should be delivered in an as simple as possible way so that the target audience is not biased by dualities in the message. The common understanding is the measure of success that is associated with the after sale just the same as another type of capital investment. This understanding affects advertisers to create simple and rudimentary ads. The desire to enjoy and see pretty, intelligent and communicative advertisements must be born from the campus. The advertisements are not just created to represent the intent of advertisers, but also to carry moral and educational variables for the audience.
