Abstract

Sender and receiver both uses two large similar prime numbers and uses parametric equations for swapping values of kx and by product of kx and ky is the common secret key. Generated secret key is used for encryption and decryption using ASCII key matrix of order 16X16. Applying playfair rules for encryption and decryption. Playfair is a digraph substitution cipher. Playfair makes use of pairs of letters for encryption and decryption. This application makes use of all ASCII characters which makes brute force attack impossible.

Abstract

In cDNA microarray image analysis, classification of pixels as forefront area and the area covered by background is very challenging. In microarray experimentation, identifying forefront area of desired spots is nothing but computation of forefront pixels concentration, area covered by spot and shape of the spots. In this piece of writing, an innovative way for spot partitioning of microarray images using autonomously organizing maps (AOM) method through C-V model has been proposed. Concept of neural networks has been incorpated to train and to test microarray spots.In a trained AOM the comprehensive information arising from the prototypes of created neurons are clearly integrated to decide whether to get smaller or get bigger of contour. During the process of optimization, this is done in an iterative manner. Next using C-V model, inside curve area of trained spot is compared with test spot finally curve fitting is done.The presented model can handle spots with variations in terms of shape and quality of the spots and meanwhile it is robust to the noise. From the review of experimental work, presented approach is accurate over the approaches like C-means by fuzzy, Morphology sectionalization.

Abstract

The issue on how to effectively deliver video streaming contents over cloud computing infrastructures is tackled in this study. Basically, quality of service of video streaming is strongly influenced by bandwidth, jitter and data loss problems. A number of intelligent video streaming algorithms are proposed by using different techniques to deal with such issues. This study aims to propose and demonstrate a novel decision making analysis which combines ISO 9126 (international standard for software engineering) and Analytic Hierarchy Process to help experts selecting the best video streaming algorithm for the case of private cloud computing infrastructure. The given case study concluded that Scalable Streaming algorithm is the best algorithm to be implemented for delivering high quality of service of video streaming overĀ  the private cloud computing infrastructure.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) consist of a large number of sensor nodes randomly deployed in an area of interest to collect information from the environment. Due to lack of resources, energy efficiency and Quality of Service(QoS) are challenging issues in WSNs. In This paper, a new localized routing protocol is proposed which considers different QoS requirements in WSN. For latency considerations, it takes into account multiple levels of delay requirements by implementing different speed layers. Reliability needs are met by dynamically adjusting the transmission power of the sender and based on the energy consumed at the transmitter and the residual energy of the receiver, the forwarding decision is made. Abstract

Due to the unequal loads in phases and different customer consumption, the distribution network is unbalanced. Unbalancing in the distribution network, in addition to increasing power losses, causes unbalancing in voltages and increases operating costs. To reduce this unbalancing, various methods and algorithms have been presented. In most studies and even practical projects due to lack of information about the network loads, load models such as constant power model, constant current or constant impedance are used to model the loads. Due to the changing and nonlinear behaviours of today's loads, these models cannot show results in accordance with reality. This paper while introducing an optimal phase-balancing method, discusses the effect of load modelling on phase balancing studies. In this process the re-phasing method for balancing the network and the harmony search algorithm for optimizing the phase displacement process have been used. The simulation was carried out on an unbalanced distribution network of 25 buses. The results show well the effect of this comprehensive modelling on phase balancing studies. It also shows that in the re-phasing method for balancing the network and in the absence of a real load model, the use of which model offers the closest answer to optimal solutions.

Abstract

Dynamic radio resource management, RRM, is an essential design block in the functional architecture of any Wifi controller in IEEE 802.11 indoor dense enterprise Wlans. In a mono-channel condition, it helps tackle co-channel interference problem and enrich end-to-end Wifi clients experience. In this work, we present our dRRM solution: WLCx, and demonstrate its performance over related-work and vendor approaches. Our solution is built on a novel and realistic per-Beam coverage representation approach. Unlike the other RRM solutions, WLCx is dynamic: even the calculation system parameters are processed. This processing comes at price in terms of processing time. To overcome this limitation, we constructed and implemented a NURBS surface-based optimization to our RRM solution. Our NURBS optimized WLCx, N-WLCx, solution achieves almost 92.58% time reduction in comparison with basic WLCx. Furthermore, our optimization could easily be extended to enhance others, vendors and research, RRM solutions.

Abstract

STORET is one method to determine the river water quality into four classes (very good , good, medium and bad) based on the data of water for each attribute or feature. The success of the formation of pattern recognition model much depends on the quality of data. There are two issues as the concern of this research as follows: the data having disproportionate amount among the classes (imbalance class) and the finding of noise on its attribute. Therefore, this research integrates the SMOTE Technique and bootstrapping to handle the problem of imbalance class. While an experiment is conducted to eliminate the noise on the attribute by using some feature selection algorithms with filter approach (information gain, rule, derivation, correlation and chi square). This research has some stages as follows: data understanding, pre-processing, imbalance class, feature selection, classification and performance evaluation. Based on the result of testing using 10-fold cross validation, it shows that the use of the SMOTE-bootstrapping technique is able to increase the accurate value from 83.3% to be 98.8%. While the process of noise elimination on the data attribute is also able to increase the accuracy to be 99.5% (the use of feature subset produced by the information gain algorithm and the decision tree classification algorithm).

Abstract

In this paper we are mostly concerned with the problem of testing electronic control units of synchronized electric power actuators. This task is particularly complex for safety critical applications, where it is crucial that the control system properly reacts in response to the faults, that are hard to reproduce and verify. A cost-effective flexible and reconfigurable test platform is proposed, discussing its architecture and implementation. The proposed system facilitates the phase of definition and development of the electronic control unit, allowing the interfacing towards both hydraulic and electromechanical actuators, and having a high flexibility as regards the I/O signals. Some results, obtained during the laboratory test activity, are also presented.

Abstract

We propose a new object tracking model for two degrees of freedom mechanism. Our model uses a reverse projection from a camera plane to a world plane. Here, the model takes advantage of optic flow technique by re-projecting the flow vectors from the image space into world space. A pan-tilt (PT) mounting system is used to verify the performance of our model and maintain the tracked object within a region of interest (ROI). This system contains two servo motors to enable a webcam rotating along PT axes. The PT rotation angles are estimated based on a rigid transformation of the the optic flow vectors in which an idealized translation matrix followed by two rotational matrices around PT axes are used. Our model was tested and evaluated using different objects with different motions. The results reveal that our model can keep the target object within a certain region in the camera view.

Abstract

This paper introduces a dynamic speech encryption algorithm based on Lorenz chaotic map over internet protocol to enhance the services of the real-time applications such as increases the security level and reduces latency. The proposed algorithm was divided into two processes: dynamic key generation process using 128-bit hash value to dynamically alter the initial secret keys, and encryption and decryption process using Lorenz system. In the proposed algorithm, the performance evaluation is carried out through efficient simulations and implementations and statistical analysis. In addition, the average time delay in the proposed algorithm and some of the existing algorithms such as AES is compared. The obtained results concluded that, the proposed dynamic speech encryption algorithm is effectually secured against various cryptanalysis attacks and has useful cryptographic properties such as confusion and diffusion for better voice communication in the voice applications field in the Internet.
