As outlined in the 2015-2025 Long-Term Development Plan (RPJP) of Sinjai Regency, which is also regulated by the 2012 Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry regarding Facilities and Infrastructure in Tahura Nature Tourism. Although the implementation of the Abdul Latif Grand Forest Park campsite construction was legally sound, the development faced opposition from local indigenous communities and environmental activists concerned that it would harm local values, as the forest is considered sacred. Ecologically, the development will alter the natural structure, leading to deforestation, an increased risk of landslides, and the obstruction of access to water for plantation and community agricultural purposes. This opposition is further reinforced by the area's status as a protected forest, as well as the presence of the endemic Anoa animal, which also factors into the decision to reject the development. This study employs a case study approach to achieve a thorough understanding of the examined events. The study's findings suggest that the conflict between the government and local indigenous communities stems from a mismatch between the current policy and the values that should be upheld, in addition to the lack of extensive communication among the local government, local indigenous communities and environmental activists.

The aim of this research is to provide an analysis of how efforts have been made to achieve Sustainable Development Goal number six (SDGs 6), namely Clean Water and Sanitation. The main focus of this research is to assess the implementation of policies and projects related to water and sanitation and understand the impact they will have on society and the environment. This study collects data from government reports and other relevant research. Universal access to clean drinking water, adequate sanitation, efficient water use, and protection of water ecosystems are the main indicators of SDGs 6. The research results show great progress in achieving SDGs 6 in several aspects. Access to clean water has increased and many sanitation projects have been implemented successfully. Challenges remain, especially in achieving sanitation goals in rural areas and in managing water quality. Integrated water resource management and protection of water ecosystems are highlighted in this analysis. The research also underscores the need for international cooperation and community participation in addressing clean water and sanitation challenges. Data limitations and unequal access continue to be important issues that need to be addressed. Therefore, this study recommends increased detailed data collection and capacity building of local communities. By detailing the challenges and potential solutions, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of achieving SDGs 6. The implications of these findings can help civil society in designing more effective policies and projects to achieve clean water and sustainable sanitation.

Rapid population growth and regional development will affect environmental changes. These changes will inevitably have an impact on human life directly or indirectly, with positive results such as meeting human needs and local and regional economic growth, as well as negative results such as a decrease in environmental quality, the impact analysis method produces data obtained then presented in the form of tables, graphs and then described so as to produce information. The results show that in the period between 2010 - 2022 there has been a growth in housing development which resulted in a reduction in the use of rice fields with an area of 66.6 Ha out of a total of 170.0 Ha. In addition, water sources in the dry season have an impact on the community in the area around the housing after the development, In the analysis of total respondents showed 92% impact on land use, 86% impact on water sources, 59% impact on road conditions, 52% impact on drainage.

This research aims to find out and analyze how the SDGs-based development planning system on the environmental development pillar. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collected through interviews and observations at the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA), the Environmental Agency (DLH), and several communities directly affected by infrastructure development in Bojonegoro Regency. The data analysis method was carried out using the Miles and Huberman method, which has three stages of analysis. The theory of the planning process proposed by Berry (1993) in Mahi and Trigunarso (2017) was used in this study. The results showed that infrastructure development planning has been carried out in Bojonegoro Regency, but the existence of infrastructure development programs shows that these programs affect environmental conditions, especially affecting the proportion of green open space (RTH). Overall, the infrastructure development plan in Bojonegoro Regency has not fulfilled the perspectives in the SDGs, especially in the environmental development pillar.

The purpose of this study was to find out fishermen’s quality of life construct validity used survey by involving 44 fishermen in Cimalaya, Karawang. Data analyzed by correlations test, cronbach’s alpha and factor analysis (CFA). The Study results revealed that there were four objective dimensions of fishermen’s quality of life that can be seen from the indicators: (1) income with value of 0.455; (2) Marital status with value of 0.545; (3) Health status with value of 0.691; and (4) Social relationship with value of 0.638. Those values were good since they were above 0.4 or had little tolerance to above 0.25. For this reason, the objective dimensions of quality of life can be measured in terms of harmony and ability which is the integration of quality of life.

Climate change can be caused by both natural and human activities. Human activities are the main factor causing climate change that is getting worse such as deforestation, industrialization, transportation, and so on. Climate change that occurs continuously can cause various health risks, global food security, decreased biodiversity, and environmental damage to economic development. Climate change also needs to be studied in the application of SDGs to realize sustainable development targets. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between economic growth, energy consumption, and forest area to CO2 emissions in Indonesia from 1990-2022 and find out what the implications are with the achievement of SDGs on climate change. This study applies the VECM analysis method to get an overview of the long-term balance and short-term relationship of the four variables. The results obtained are that forest area only affects CO2 emissions in the long term, while economic growth only affects CO2 emissions in the short term. Meanwhile, the energy consumption variable affects CO2 emissions in both the short and long term. Therefore, handling from various parties and policies from the government are needed to realize environmentally friendly development to achieve sustainable development goals in the future.

Infrastructure development aims to improve people's welfare, but can indirectly change land use and environmental conditions. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of environmental changes resulting from the construction of the Ganefo Flyover on Jalan Raya Mranggen, Demak Regency. The impacts of environmental change studied are in the form of biotic, abiotic and social environments. The impact of the abiotic environment on noise is measured with a Sound Level Meter. The biotic environment for biodiversity is observed using the Rapid Survey method. Community perception data was collected through questionnaires by visiting residents' homes. The results of the analysis show that in the abiotic environment there is a change in the form of a decrease in noise levels, while in the biotic environment there is a change in the form of a decrease in the diversity of vegetation and wildlife. Environmental changes according to public perception are getting better in terms of traffic and road conditions. However, conditions worsened in waterways, air, dust, green open space (RTH) and biodiversity, and did not change in noise conditions. Therefore, it is concluded that after the Ganefo Flyover existed, it had an impact on changes in the surrounding environment.
