Abstract

Aims of the study is to evaluate the decomposition and mineralization Nitrogen of bokashi chicken manure made by litter and battery systems. Litter system ussually developed the floor of cage cover by the form of sawdust and rice husk but baterry with cage type of tenuous and perforated floor. Soil incubation of bokashi experiment was conducted in the laboratory and in field the Village Tunggulwulung, Malang. Incubation activities with five sample in the laboratory laid under conditions with and without leached. Observation was made in amount of nitrogen for 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. Bokashi manure decomposition of chicken manure was observed in litter bag using method recommended by the Tropical Soil Biology and Fertility. Bags of litter were observed at 1, 2, 4, 8, and 14 weeks. The amount of mineral N in KCl extracts - soil determined using Kjeldahl distillation method. Results of research showed that on leached condition leached mineralization at 2, 4, 8, and 14 weeks bokashi batery lower compared with litter by 0.8, 8, 0.2, 0.6 t N/ha and 0.3, 10, 13, 0.8 t N/ha respectively

Abstract

Enviromental problems due to activities of exploration and exploitation of natural resources for energy and utilization of energy as source of fuel become importance issue in Indonesia. Therefore an alternative for utilization of natural resources as energy is desperately needed. One of the potential resources is utilization of manure as energy alternative and fertilizer. Society of Sindangbarang village, Sub district Jalaksana of Kuningan District generally is farmer and husbandary with main activities on goat cattle. Social guidance was conducted to utilize manure as sources for energy and liquid fertilizer. The social guidance activieties were divided into three steps, i.e. identification, implementation and evaluation. Implemention was main step to install digester for processing goat manure to make biogas. The results indicated that goat manure as biogas could be made as fuel energy for cooking and organic fertilizer as alternative for agriculture activities. It is concluded that a large positive affect will be gained if all goat farmers do the same way and this avtivities is also to support government policy for alternative energy, organic agriculture and improving environmental life condition

Abstract

The effects of pruning of Paraserianthes falcataria tree in an agroforestry system on yield of intercrops and tree performance were studied at Perhutani RPH Jatirejo, BKPH Pare, KPJH Kediri. Maize, stick nut, and chili were used as companion crops in between rows of two years old Paraserianthes falcataria tree. A split plot design with four replicates was set up for the experiment. The trees were 25%, 50% and 75% pruned. The measured parameters included growth and yield of the intercrops and performance of the tree. Results of this study showed that regular pruning of the agroforestry tree and planting of intercrops did not hinder growth and performance of the agroforestry tree, especially that was pruned 75%. Pruning of the tree also increase yield of the intercrops

Abstract

Enterobacter xiangfangensis and Enterobacter cloaceae are known to have the ability as a phosfat solubilizing and producing hormone IAA. Their also have ability to survive under drought stress in vitro assay conditions. Both of these bacteria has good potential as a potato plant growth promoting bacteria, especially in drought stress conditions. This is an alternative to improve tolerance and growth of the potato crop in drought stress conditions. The results showed that the level of drought stress 75% of field capacity can boost the potential of endophytic bacteria E. xiangfangensis in increasing leaf area, plant dry weight, root length and physiological activity i.e total phosphorus content in potato plants. Endophytic bacteria E. xiangfangensis is better to increase potato plant height than endophytic bacteria E. cloaceae. These results are supported by the results of potential test of E. xiangfangensis which have the advantage of producing hormones IAA compared with E. cloaceae. Furthermore, in drought stress conditions 50% of field capacity and 75% of field capacity have different effects on the observations of root length growth parameters potato plants.

Abstract

Avocados had a fairly complete nutrient content and the price was quite affordable, so that the processing of avocados worth to be developed. Fruit not only on consumption in fresh condition, but with additional processing in order to get a new flavor or to get varied diet and to get the benefits of the avocado fruit. To cope with the abundance of the product during the main harvest, it would require further processing, so that the economic value of the avocado fruit does not fall. Both of the processing to extend the shelf life and processing for product diversification. Avocado in an optimal utilization has not been done, then to overcome, given an alternative form of avocado fruit processing, thereby increasing the range of dishes, namely margarine avocado. Hopefully with a new product in the form of margarine avocado, can increase the economic value of the avocado. In addition, more durable and can be used repeatedly without reducing flavor. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the process and financially household scale industries that produce margarine from avocado fruit. The results showed that at the household scale industries, the use of glycerin in margarine, avocados, can increase the value of consumer preferences, so that the margarine produced can be marketed properly. The use of glycerin was limited at concentrations of 10% for margarine and avocado consumers preferred feasible physically and chemically. Financially, the effort is worth the effort or established with a value of 16.37% IRR and NPV Rp. 4,435,371

Abstract

After the eruption of Mount Bromo led to a decline in the area planted vegetables decrease thein come of the people in the area. The intervention of Micro finance Institutions (MFIs) as a financial intermediary which aims to provide easier access to credit for low-income farmers vegetable or vegetable growers after the eruption of Mount Bromo that do not have access to commercial banks, is expected to increase farm production scallion, after Bromo Mountain eruption there are. The aims of this research are to investigate the conception of potatoes farm (cost, supply, benefits and R/C) factors that influence the vegetables farm productivity in Sukapura, and the role of micro finance on farm. The research was conducted in Ngadisari and Ngadirejo with purposive sampling method. Data which is obtained from the research is analyzed using R/C and Cobb-Douglass function. The results show that anion farm is beneficial with R/C value >1, the vegetables production are influenced by seeds, land area, biofertilizer, labor, perticides and micro finance have significant role on helping the farm

Abstract

Nutrients or nutrients are important factors for plant growth which can be likened to food substances for plants. One of the factors that support plants to grow and produce optimally is the availability of nutrients in sufficient quantities in the soil. The elements N, P and K, have a very important role in plant growth and production. The purpose of the preparation of the paper is to provide information about efforts to improve efficiency and availability of nitrogen in the soil and nitrogen uptake in lowland rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) Nitrogen has a role as a constituent of enzymes which plays a large role in plant metabolism but is relatively not available to plants. The efficiency of the use of Nitrogen (N) fertilizer in lowland rice can be maximized by way of 1) timely fertilization, 2) planting superior varieties that are responsive to the administration of Nitrogen (N), 3) improving cultivation techniques, 4) regulating the timing of Nitrogen fertilizer (N ) the right during the growing season with Leaf Color Chart (LCC) or Leaf Color Chart (BWD) and 5) NPK fertilization simultaneously. Efforts to increase the availability of nitrogen in the soil and uptake in wetland rice can be done by adding high-quality organic matter, the use of Azotobacter isolates as biological fertilizers to reduce the decrease in soil health due to the input of synthetic chemicals.

Abstract

Circle of Waru represent green open space area with storey level of polutan dirt (PM 10) and Nitrogen oxide ( NOX) exceed standard due to high vehicle activity and quality trigger the existence of storey with level of polutan able to endanger health of human being. This research was conducted during 6 month. Location of the research is in Circle of Waru Surabaya, which located in Countryside Hamlet Mussel Singularity, District of Gayungan, Town of Surabaya and cowered area 35.000 m2, mean air temperature 28-34ºC and Laboratory/Studio Architecture Map University of Tribhuwana Tunggadewi. The result of this research, can be concluded that Town of Surabaya with storey level of actifity high vehicle that is: 4.164/hour, caused the condition of air of NOx and dirt have exceeded standard boundary lower quality, it is mean that area condition is impure to overcome problems of environment planning of settlement area is needed for Require To Be Green Open Space by selected of functional crop type and settlement of crop with high rise system, that is using birch crop, ground cover and clump

Abstract

This study represent study pricing of relied on water potency of each irrigation area in DAS Ngasinan - Ngrowo Sub-Province of Tulungagung and of Trenggalek and also willingness and ability to local farmer and verification to field. Drainage basin pass by quickly sub-province have problems of complex from between farmer alone till institute and its facilities and basic facilities. Role and also and society of commitment institute each proving its commitment to management of water resource obtained to be data to be done by collecting primary and secondary data, including in it by interview. Data Sample taken by maximum from 2 - 3% from farmer family population/irrigation area with assumption each farmer have 0,5 ha rice field. Execution of gathering of sample that is with examination of method statistic of proportional sampling random to see how far taken sample fulfill examination to be done. Beside that in this study even also, studied till make a guidance of price pixing irrigate to area of around him with have directive to factors having an effect on in price pixing sell this water. Price sell water determined by lessening Value Sell Agro Product with production cost, operating expenses and conservancy, expense of investment, requirement of farmer life and farming remains, and later divided with amount of water required/ha. Price pixing irrigate this give contribution that expecting of farmer can become self-supporting farmer by making it one of the consideration of farmer to participate in defrayal of Operation and Conservancy of Network irrigation

Abstract

Drainage system is the exile of overload water by flowing through surface drainage or sub surface drainage. The overload of water is rain drop. Based on the condition, the run off surface which caused the overload water should be handled by planning the drainage well and supported. It was made for smoothing the water acces so that it won’t be blocked by the rubbish also anticipate the scrape of soil.The research was held at Kelurahan Benpasi Kecamatan Kefamananu Kabupaten TTU from January until March, 2015. It used the rational method, it was Qa = 0,278.C.I.A.The primary data were the condition of the run off surface and the existing channel. The secondary data, such as: the population report, rain, the map of field arrangement and topography map. The result of analysis stated that the number of rain during 10 year in amount of 92,918mm with the flood discharge in amount of 3,52mᶟ/second. The biggest capacity of existing channel was Q4 = 0,231 mᶟ/second. The planned construction design was made of the river stone couple which has square shape in size b = 1,30m and h = 0,69m on channel 4. The plannedchannel capacity in amount of 3,64mᶟ/second
