Abstract

Main discussion of this study is about the need proper entrepreneurship training program in higher education, especially for students, this study aims to acquire as well as to develop a proper entrepreneurial training model to improve ability of business management among students. The approach Model used in this study are ; 1) the development model of training science and technology for Entrepreneurship (IbK) , 2) model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) is one of the training strategy oriented contectual teaching and learning process (CTL) .The CTL  training concept helps the  trainers / instructors / teachers to links materials with real world situations as well as to encourage the participants  using their knowledge to be applied in their real life situation the members of society. From the training model implementation results, it can be concluded that: 1) The training model combining The Problem Based Learning (PBL) and the  development of  science and technology training model for Entrepreneurship (IbK )could be effectively applied in an  entrepreneurship training program for higher education level students, 2 ) This model succesfully synergize the materials / theories of the training to the real world situations ; 3) This model also works to build the teamwork. Finally, this model manage to indicate its effectiveness by the level of attendance at  90%, as well as teamwork formed in making innovative, original and worth-to-be implemented business proposal.

Abstract

Citronella oil processing industry made a major contribution in improving the economy of the community, especially involve businesses, that is farmers and industrialists. Issues contained in the refining of citronella oil, one of which is requiring relatively large initial costs. The main objective of this research is to create  model of  industry system  for  citronella oil processing,  small and medium scale so as to optimize the potential and available resources. The first step taken was  identify the technologies used, determine the scale of production, how to manage and determine the variables considered to be a critical factor in the refining industry of citronella oil . As of this paper is made, a team of researchers have done several times a survey to  see manufactured machine for citronella refining  and compare the right technology so citronella oil produced is optimal In addition, researchers conducted a survey to a distillery that uses machine examined, to see firsthand how the refining machine. Stages of research conducted in a structured  from preliminary studies, the formulation of the problem and determining the purpose of research, literature studies, define the steps of research, collection of data required, and the design of industrial systems, implementation models, and the final analysis of the results of implementation and improvement models.

Abstract

Enviromental problems due to activities of exploration and exploitation of natural resources for energy and utilization of energy as source of fuel become importance issue in Indonesia. Therefore an alternative for utilization of natural resources as energy is desperately needed. One of the potential resources is utilization of manure as energy alternative and fertilizer. Society of Sindangbarang village, Sub district Jalaksana of Kuningan District generally is farmer and husbandary with main activities on goat cattle. Social guidance was conducted to utilize manure as sources for energy and liquid fertilizer. The social guidance activieties were divided into three steps, i.e. identification, implementation and evaluation. Implemention was main step to install digester for processing goat manure to make biogas. The results indicated that goat manure as biogas could be made as fuel energy for cooking and organic fertilizer as alternative for agriculture activities. It is concluded that a large positive affect will be gained if all goat farmers do the same way and this avtivities is also to support government policy for alternative energy, organic agriculture and improving environmental life condition

Abstract

Successful Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects require change management to support the integration of the ERP systems into work environment because ERP imple¬men¬tations involve lots of changes on technical infrastructures, business processes, organization structure, rules and skills of people in the organization. This study was aimed to explain the challenges in implementing an ERP module in a Indonesian telecommunication company, focusing on the change management process involves in the project. A case study at a tele¬com¬munication company was used to collect empirical data and to analyses important aspects of project arrangements that will have an impact on the change management process accompanying the ERP implementation project. The following two aspects of changes were analyzed as the impact of ERP implementation: changes in individual behaviors and changes in the organisational practices. Based on the empirical study, two important aspects of change management effectiveness in the project and post-project stage were highlighted: alignment of the organization structure to support IT-business collaboration and alignment of employee orientation towards effective use of ERP systems. Besides, this study also highlighted that it is important to plan and execute change management process in the post-project stage to obtain benefits from ERP implementation.

Abstract

Green manufacturing mulai diimplementasikan secara luas pada industri manufaktur untuk mengurangi dampak negatif kegiatan industri pada lingkungan. Berbagai faktor, baik eksternal maupun internal, mempengaruhi implementasi green manufacturing. Hal ini menyebabkan implementasi green manufacturing tidak mudah untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini membahas keterkaitan faktor internal perusahaan pada praktik green manufacturing, yaitu keterkaitan antara kapabilitas dinamis hijau perusahaan, kemampuan untuk menyerap pengetahuan (absorptive capacity) dan green manufacturing (dalam hal ini terdiri dari green design dan green process). Penelitian dilakukan pada 34 perusahaan manufaktur di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Model penelitian terdiri dari empat konstruk dengan lima hipotesis keterkaitan antar konstruk. Hasil pengujian model menunjukkan bahwa green dynamic capability berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap green process akan tetapi tidak berpengaruh pada green design. Absorptive capacity berpengaruh signifikan terhadap green dynamic capabilities dan berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap green process. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kapabilitas dinamis berperan memediasi hubungan absorptive capacity dengan green process.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. X is a manufacturer of motorcycle accessories and parts. The company's social media is currently not optimal and left behind by competitors so that product sales do not reach the marketing target of brand awareness for SND Racing products, considering that social media is the marketing and promotion channel with the most users on the internet. This study aims to design a social media marketing strategy to increase brand awareness of SND Racing products with the scope of research from September 2012 to February 2021. The design of social media marketing strategies is carried out on the Facebook and Instagram platforms using the SOSTAC model. The performance of the social media marketing strategy design as measured using Keyhole.co analytics to find out the most frequent post types, the most interesting post types, optimal delivery times, best delivery times, optimal post lengths, hashtags based on interactions, and optimal hashtags to use as the basis for the proposal effective social media marketing strategy design. social media marketing strategy can provide a significant difference in increasing brand awareness compared to the previous year, as evidenced by the Wilcoxon signed-rank test hypothesis because H0 is rejected (Tcount (1) > Ttable (0)). Abstrak. PT. X merupakan produsen aksesoris dan onderdil motor. Pemasaran media sosial perusahaan saat ini belum optimal dan tertinggal oleh kompetitor sehingga penjualan produk tidak mencapai target dikarenakan kesadaran merek untuk produk SND Racing masih rendah mengingat media sosial adalah saluran pemasaran dan promosi dengan pengguna terbanyak di internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang strategi pemasaran media sosial untuk meningkatkan kesadaran merek produk SND Racing dengan ruang lingkup penelitian pada bulan September 20120 sampai bulan Februari 2021. Perancangan strategi pemasaran media sosial dilakukan pada platform Facebook dan Instagram menggunakan model SOSTAC. Performa rancangan strategi pemasaran media sosial diukur menggunakan analitik Keyhole.co untuk mengetahui tipe kiriman paling sering, tipe kiriman paling menarik, waktu kirim optimal, waktu kirim terbaik, panjang kiriman optimal, tagar teratas berdasarkan keterlibatan, dan tagar optimal yang akan digunakan sebagai dasar usulan rancangan strategi pemasaran media sosial efektif. Rancangan strategi pemasaran media sosial dapat memberikan perbedaan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesadaran merek dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya, dibuktikan oleh uji hipotesis Wilcoxon signed-rank test dikarenakan H0 ditolak (Thitung (1) > Ttabel (0)).

Abstract

Abstract. CV Taufik Jaya Teknik is a metal manufacturer which produces various components of automotive engine, textile machinery, mechatronic machinery, canned food manufacturing machines, punch and dies, as well as machine design. Currently the company is scheduling based on the EDD priority rules. Jobs that have the same processing batch size as the transfer batch. This condition causes waiting times so that in the end there will be production delays. Based on this, the proposed scheduling will be carried out using a non-delay algorithm by considering the batch transfer size. The non-delay algorithm was chosen because this algorithm can increase machine utility so that more work is processed. Thus, the delay in the end can be reduced. The measure of delay used in this study is mean tardiness. Based on the proposed scheduling, the result is that there is a decrease in the mean tardiness of 53.52%. This means that the overall delays can be reduced by scheduling proposals. Abstrak. CV Taufik Jaya Teknik merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur logam yaitu memproduksi berbagai komponen mesin otomotif, mesin tekstil, mesin mekatronik, mesin pabrik makanan kaleng, punch dan dies, serta rancang bangun mesin. Saat ini perusahaan melakukan penjadwalan berdasarkan aturan prioritas EDD. Pekerjaan yang dijadwalkan memiliki ukuran batch proses sama dengan batch transfer. Kondisi ini menimbulkan waktu tunggu sehingga pada akhirnya mengakibatkan terjadinya keterlambatan penyelesaian produksi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka akan dilakukan penjadwalan usulan menggunakan algoritma non delay dengan mempertimbangkan ukuran batch transfer. Algoritma non delay dipilih karena algoritma ini dapat meningkatkan utilitas mesin sehingga pekerjaan yang diproses menjadi lebih banyak. Dengan demikian, keterlambatan pada akhirnya dapat direduksi. Ukuran keterlambatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mean tardiness. Berdasarkan penjadwalan usulan diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi penurunan mean tardiness 53,52%. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa persentase keterlambatan secara keseluruhan dapat direduksi dengan dilakukannya penjadwalan usulan.

Abstract

Abstract. CV. Pustaka Setia is a company engaged in publishing and printing books. The obstacle experienced by CV Pustaka Setia is the occurrence of accumulation (Work In Process inventory) at the folding work station. The buildup that occurs has resulted in the company not achieving the production target that has been set within a predetermined time limit. The problems faced by this company are solved by using theapproach Theory of Constraint (TOC). Thestage TOC carried out by identifying the constraint in the company by calculating the capacity, this is because the constraint contained in the company is a capacity constraint. The stages are continued with constraint exploitation using a linear program to find out the maximum number of companies producing books with the company's capacity.scheduling is Campbell dudeck and smith (CDS)done by changing the transfer system to abatch processequal to the transfer batch, in order to reduce stacking. The stage is continued on subordination of non-sources constraint by making print work stations able to maximize work stations that experience buildup and is carried out using themethod Drum Buffer Rope (DBR). Based on data processing until it reaches the stage of subordination, the stacking constraint still occurs, then the constraint elevation is carried out. The constraint elevation was carried out by adding the capacity of the folding work station to 3 work shifts and subcontracting 1815 copies of the book at the folding work station so that the company was able to reduce the buildup and meet existing needs. Abstrak. CV. Pustaka Setia perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penerbitan dan percetakan buku. Kendala yang dialami oleh CV Pustaka Setia ialah terjadinya penumpukan (Work In Process inventory) pada stasiun kerja pelipatan. Penumpukan yang terjadi mengakibatkan perusahaan tidak mencapai target produksi yang telah ditetapkan dengan batas waktu yang telah ditentukan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan ini diselesaikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Theory of Constraint (TOC). Tahapan TOC dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi constraint pada perusahaan dengan melakukan perhitungan kapasitas, hal ini dikarenakan constraint yang terdapat pada perusahaan ialah capacity constraint. Tahapan dilanjutkan dengan eksploitasi constraint menggunakan progama linier untuk mengetahui maksimal perusahaan memproduksi buku dengan kapasitas yang dimiliki perusahaan. Penjadwalan Campbell dudeck and smith (CDS) dilakukan dengan mengubah sistem transfer menjadi batch proses sama dengan batch transfer, guna mengurangi penumpukan. Tahapan dilanjutkan pada subordinasi sumber non constraint dengan membuat stasiun kerja cetak bisa memaksimalkan stasiun kerja yang mengalami penumpukan dan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Drum Buffer Rope (DBR). Berdasarkan pengolahan data hingga mencapai tahapan subordinasi constraint penumpukan masih terjadi maka dilakukan elevasi constraint. Elevasi constraint dilakukan dengan menambahkan kapasitas stasiun kerja pelipatan menjadi 3 shift kerja dan melakukan subkontrak 1815 eksemplar buku pada stasiun kerja pelipatan sehingga perusahaan mampu mengurangi penumpukan dan memenuhi kebutuhan yang ada.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Master Metal Precision is a manufacturing company that produces various components of machines, dies and jigs. The performance measurement used by the company currently only pays attention to the financial aspect. If the turnover obtained exceeds the target, the company's performance is considered good. As a result, the company's leadership has no basis for making strategic decisions other than the financial basis. Therefore, companies need a better way of measuring performance so that they can show performance from various points of view. This research was conducted to design a performance measurement that not only considers financial aspects but also considers other influential aspects, especially those related to stakeholders. The integrated performance measurement method, namely the integrated performance measurement system (IPMS) was chosen as the reference performance measurement method. This method measures performance by considering the needs of all stakeholders, namely leaders, consumers, employees, and suppliers. There are 19 Key Performance Indicators that have been successfully identified based on the needs of all company stakeholders. Based on these Key Performance Indicators and using the objectives matrix (OMAX) it can be seen that the current total performance of the Company is 3.48 (a rating scale of 10). This shows that the company's performance on all KPIs has not yet met the target. The measurement results on 19 KPIs show that 7 KPIs have reached the target (green category), 11 KPIs have not met the target (yellow category), and 1 KPI is still far from the target (red category). Therefore the company must improve and evaluate the existing KPIs of the company as a whole, especially on the results of indicators that are still in the yellow and red categories. This research also produces forms that companies can use to measure performance. Abstrak. PT. Master Logam Presisi merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi berbagai komponen mesin, dies, dan jig. Pengukuran kinerja yang digunakan perusahaan saat ini hanya memperhatikan aspek keuangan. Apabila omset yang diperoleh melebihi target maka kinerja perusahaan dinilai baik. Akibatnya pimpinan perusahaan tidak memiliki dasar untuk mengambil keputusan strategis selain dasar keuangan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan memerlukan cara pengukuran kinerja yang lebih baik sehingga dapat menunjukkan kinerja dari berbagai sudut pandang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang pengukuran kinerja yang tidak hanya mempertimbangkan aspek keuangan tetapi juga mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek lain yang berpengaruh terutama berkaitan dengan stakeholder. Metode pengukuran kinerja yang terintegrasi yaitu integrated performance measurement sistem (IPMS) dipilih sebagai metode pengukuran kinerja acuan. Metode ini mengukur kinerja dengan mempetimbangkan kebutuhan seluruh stakeholder yaitu pimpinan, konsumen, karyawan, dan pemasok. Terdapat 19 Key Performance Indicator yang berhasil diindentifikasi berdasarkan kebutuhan semua stakeholder perusahaan. Berdasarkan pada Key Performance Indicator tersebut dan menggunakan objectives matrix (OMAX) dapat diketahui bahwa kinerja total Perusahaan saat ini adalah sebesar 3,48 (skala penilaian 10). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja perusahaan pada seluruh KPI masih belum memenuhi target. Hasil pengukuran pada 19 KPI diketahui ada 7 KPI yang sudah mencapai target (kategori hijau), 11 KPI belum memenuhi target (kategori kuning), dan 1 KPI masih jauh dari target (kategori merah). Oleh karena itu perusahaan harus melakukan peningkatan dan evaluasi kepada KPI yang ada perusahaan secara keluruhan, terutama pada hasil indikator yang masih termasuk kategori kuning dan merah. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan formulir yang dapat perusahaan gunakan untuk mengukur kinerja.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. X is a company that produces electrical components for motorized vehicles, one of its products is the wiring harness for Astra Honda Motor (AHM). AHM's current wiring harness production line often experiences temporary production stoppages during operating hours due to a build-up of work in process (WIP) at one of the assembly work stations. The company sets a limit for the accumulation of WIP, which is 18 pieces. The accumulation of WIP that exceeds 18 pieces requires that work stations experiencing WIP accumulation must turn on andon/signal so that all previous work stations temporarily stop their production process. This is done to resolve the accumulation of WIP at work stations that have accumulated WIP. As a result, companies have to do overtime to make up for lost time during a temporary stop in the production process, thereby increasing production costs. This research was conducted to reduce the buildup of WIP by using the Line Balancing approach which is used as a workload balancing tool. In addition, this study also uses the implementation of the Kanban System so that the accumulation of work in process can be controlled. The results of this study did not change the number of work stations, but there were adjustments to the workload at several work stations. This resulted in an increase in Track Efficiency of 1.2% from 89.5% to 90.7% and a decrease in Smoothness Index of 6.46 where the original value was 30.31 to 23.85. Next is the proposed Kanban System design which changes the production flow from a push system to a pull system and can control the accumulation of WIP from 19 pieces to 17 pieces or a decrease in WIP accumulation by 10.5%. Abstrak. PT. X adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi komponen kelistrikan kendaraan bermotor, salah satu produknya yaitu wiring harness untuk Astra Honda Motor (AHM). Lini produksi wiring harness AHM saat ini masih sering mengalami pemberhentian proses produksi sementara pada saat jam operasional karena adanya penumpukan work in process (WIP) pada salah satu stasiun kerja perakitan. Perusahaan menetapkan batas penumpukan WIP yaitu 18 pieces. Penumpukan WIP yang melebihi 18 pieces mengharuskan stasiun kerja yang mengalami penumpukan WIP harus menyalakan andon/sinyal agar seluruh stasiun kerja sebelumnya memberhentikan proses produksinya untuk sementara. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan penumpukan WIP di stasiun kerja yang mengalami penumpukan WIP. Dampaknya, perusahaan harus melakukan overtime untuk mengganti waktu yang hilang selama pemberhentian proses produksi sementara sehingga akan menambah biaya produksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi penumpukan WIP dengan menggunakan pendekatan Line Balancing yang digunakan sebagai alat penyeimbangan beban kerja. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan penerapan Sistem Kanban agar penumpukan work in process dapat dikendalikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini tidak merubah jumlah stasiun kerja akan tetapi ada penyesuaian pembebanan kerja di beberapa stasiun kerja. Hal ini menyebabkan kenaikan pada Efisiensi Lintasan sebesar 1,2% yang semula 89,5% menjadi 90,7% dan penurunan pada Indeks Kehalusan (Smoothness Index) sebesar 6,46 dimana nilai semulanya adalah 30,31 menjadi 23,85. Selanjutnya adalah usulan perancangan Sistem Kanban yang mengubah aliran produksi dari push system (sistem dorong) menjadi pull system (sistem tarik) dan dapat mengendalikan penumpukan WIP dari 19 pieces menjadi 17 pieces atau terjadi penurunan penumpukan WIP sebesar 10,5%.
