Abstract

In the year 2007-2012, the Indonesian government target to replace 1.48 billion liters of gasoline with bio-ethanol. Currently a new bio-ethanol can be supplied as much as 137,000 liters per month (0.4%). Nipah (Nypa fruticans) is one of palm species that grows in the mangrove forest. Sugar from the sap of Nipah is high enough so that it is potential as a base for the production of bioethanol. Vegetable-based fuel or bio-ethanol can reduce environment pollution; due to its CO2 emissions are very low, making it more environmentally friendly. Bio-ethanol can be used as a substitute for fossil fuel. Bio-ethanol with levels of 95-99% can be used as material substitution for gasoline.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara agraris mempunyai berbagai macam keanekaragaman hayati yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat. Untuk dapat memanfaatkan keanekaragaman hayati tersebut diperlukan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni agar keanekaragaman hayati yang ada dapat memberikan manfaat yang optimal. Selain itu dengan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni yang benar maka keanekaragaman hayati yang ada dapat dijaga kelestariannya sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan bagi generasi yang akan datang.

Abstract

Pengembangan kelembagaan merupakan salah satu komponen pokok dalam keseluruhan rancangan Revitalisasi Pertanian, Perikanan, dan Kehutanan (RPPK) tahun 2005- 2025. Kelembagaan petani cenderung hanya diposisikan sebagai alat untuk mengimplementasikan proyek belaka, belum sebagai upaya untuk pemberdayaan yang lebih mendasar. Pembentukan dan pengembangan Gapoktan yang akan dibentuk di setiap desa, harus menggunakan basis social capital setempat dengan prinsip otonomi daerah, pemberdayaan dan kemandirian lokal. Pembentukan Gapoktan ditempatkan dalam konteks yang lebih luas yaitu konteks pengembangan ekonomi dan kemandirian masyarakat menuju pembangunan yang berkelanjutan (Sustainable Rural Development). Gapoktan hanyalah alat, dan merupakan sebuah pilihan bukan keharusan. Gapoktan perlu membangun jejaring sosial dengan pihak lain, memperbanyak peran diluar aktivitas produksi atau usahatani. Abstract

Research aim to: 1) Analyzing factors causing farmer of worker of coconut sugar will alter the product of coconut sugar print to become the product of crystal sugar in Countryside Rancamaya of Subdistrict Cilongok 2) Analyzing condition entrepreneur of farmer of worker of crystal sugar in Countryside Rancamaya of Subdistrict Cilongok 3) Compiling pattern of development entrepreneur farmer of worker of crystal sugar in Countryside of Rancamaya of Subdistrict Cilongok. Research method conducted by survey. Research location in Countryside Rancamaya specified in intend the (purposive sampling. Result of analysis show some factor of cause of worker farmer ready the produce of crystal sugar 1) willingness of Farmer of entrepreneur of crystal sugar 2) Owning specialty 3) Effort crystal sugar more beneficial 4) Price sell the higher crystal sugar product 5) System of product marketing easy crystal sugar 6) price of product of crystal sugar relative stabilize, and 7) There are of awareness of worker farmer follow the training. condition of entrepreneur of worker of crystal sugar in Countryside Rancamaya that is 1) Sum up the ownership of coconut tree pertained to by lower horizontally the ownership of 29 tree of farmer 2) Capital stem from person and borrow the wholesaler 3) Workers of most responder formally lower 4) Inclusive of productive age faction horizontally flatten the responder experience 2-3 year 5) Flatten to the production of crystal sugar reach 4,69 per day and product packaging still modestly and 6) Price sell the higher crystal sugar product. Pattern of Development of entrepreneurship of worker of crystal sugar conducted by maximizing potency or strength owned to utilize to reach for the opportunity in an optimal fashion that is the existence of experience and spirit of entrepreneur of worker farmer supported by local potency resources as strength in realizing product diversification of crystal sugar. Abstract

People demand on Caisim (Brassicaejuncea L.) is progressively increasing. One of offorts that can be applied for increasing Caisim crop is by fertilization. Clup root disease caused by Plasmodiophorabrassicae fungi is the most important fungal plant disease infecting cabbagecrop types. This pathogenic fungal infection causes crop damage until 100% or crop failure. One of the disease integeated controlling components that can be developed is biological control. One of biological pesticides for controlling this fungal plant disease is Basil plant.This research aimed to observe effect of the best basil concentration extract for club root control. It was conducted in Laboratory of UniversitasMuhammadiyahPurwokerto and Dukuwaluh Village, Kembaran Sub-district. The research period was three (3) months : Juneto September 2016. The researcher used Random Group Design (RAK). The tested factor including only one factor. K0: control, K1: 50 g/l, K2 : 100 g/l, K3 : 150 g/l, K4 : 200 g/l. the effect of Bassil extract on K1 concrentation resulted the disease with the highest score0.75%, K2 concentration resulted the disease whit the highest disease index 1.17, K4 concentration resulted the tallest plant height 10.1 cm and K3 concentration resulted the heaviest wotwoight 12.2 g.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaan pengembangan sektor pariwisata dan pengaruhnya terhadap produksi padi sawah di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah Kabupaten Purbalingga dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan merupakan data sekunder yang berasal dari dinas-dinas terkait serta data primer yang berasal dari informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kepariwisataan di Kabupaten Purbalingga dipacu oleh keinginan dari pihak pemerintah daerah dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan daerah dan memajukan satu kawasan menjadi lokasi wisata yang indah, menarik, dan berkelanjutan. Adanya aspek-aspek yang diterapkan dalam pembangunan kebijakan kepariwisataan yang berkelanjutan antara lain aspek lingkungan, sosial budaya dan ekonomi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan luas areal lahan pariwisata berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi sawah.

Abstract

Research on vegetative and generative appearance of 10 wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotives was conducted in June 2017 until September 2017 in Blotongan Area, District Sidorejo, Salatiga which has a height of ± 698 m above sea level. The purpose of this study was to determine and obtain the appearance of vegetative and generative 10 genotypes of wheat that grow well in the plains medium. This research is using the RAK and analysis of variance with test HSD 5%. The treatments were 10 genotypes, namely: FUNDACEP 30, Filin / 2 * 1PASTAR 11 QUAIU, WBLL * 2KURUKU, PRL / 2 * PASTOR, Pfau / MILAN / 3 / SKAUZ / KS9, KIRITATI / 4/2 / * SERI.1B * 2, TRCH * 2/3 /C80.I/3, SAAR / 2 / * WAXWING, GURI 3. The treatment is repeated 3 times. The results showed that there is a difference in the appearance of vegetative between genotives tested in terms of plant height and number of leaves. While the number of tillers, flowering age, and harvest age is no different. On the appearance of the generative found no difference between genotives in terms of the number of seeds per panicle, seed weight per m2, the middle row 4th seed weight, seed weight per panicle, and the weight of 1000 seeds. While the length of spikelet number of panicle and seed weight of 1 liter is not unlike real; Genotif that has levels of appearance of vegetative and generative in the Middle Plains is PRL/2 * PASTOR and TRCH * 2/3/C80. I/3 relatively better than the varieties of Guri-3 as control varieties; Factors temperature, drought, soil pH, and soil texture when testing are causing high stress, so that the appearance of Guri-3 as control varieties haven't been able to emulate the appearance according to the description of the varieties of Guri-3.

Abstract

A research of the influence of media and BAP concentrations on raja banana micro shoots growth has been carried out from November 2005 until July 2006. During the research, a split plot design has been used. The main plot was the kind of media; i.e. MS and Gamborg. The sub plot was BAP concentrations (K); i.e. K0: 0 .M, K1: 5 .M, K2: 10 .M, K3: 15 .M, K4: 20 .M and K5: 25 .M. On the plantlet formation, a factorial treatment pattern on CRD has been used. The result showed that both MS and Gamborg media could be used in planting raja banana micro shoots. The best growth of the micro shoots appeared with the addition of 15 .M BAP into the media. Abstract

Most of the population in Sub Jatilawang subsistence are farmers . In carrying out its activities people still rely on middlemen to facilitate their business . The purpose of this study was to determined the factors that influence farmers in selling paddy to middlemen in District Jatilawang Banyumas. The method used was a survey method . Header retrieval techniques using simple random sampling . The samples used were 98 respondents .The results of thist study are rice production , the price of rice , the family consumption ( F = 610.484 ) and cash costs may affect the sales of rice farmers to middlemen ( t1 = 28.5 , t2 = 0.057 , t3 = t4 = 12.209 and 11.209 ) . But individually variable does not affect the sale price of paddy to farmers . The variables that most influence on rice sales to middlemen ie rice production variables ( X1 = 28.534 , X2 = 0.057 , X3 = X4 = 12.209 and 11.107 ). Keyword: Seeling, paddy and middleman.

Abstract

Penyuluhan pertanian diartikan sebagai seseorang yang atas nama pemerintah atau lembaga penyuluhan berkewajiban untuk mempengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh sasaran penyuluhan untuk mengadopsi inovasi. Untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan seorang penyuluh pertanian dalam menjalankan tugasnya maka perlu adanya analisis terhadap profil yang dimiliki penyuluh yang terdiri dari tingkat umur, tingkat pendidikan, lamanya menjadi penyuluh pertanian dan juga metode yang digunakan penyuluh dalam melakukan kegiatan penyuluhannya.Dengan adanya suatu interaksi antara penyuluh pertanian dengan petani padi semi organik Jatijaya maka faktor sosial ekonomi berpengaruh terhadap tingkatan interaksi sosial. Faktor tersebut berupa motivasi penyuluh pertanian dan petani responden, kualifikasipenyuluh, kemndirian penyuluh dan petani responden, tujuan berusahatani petani responden, dukungan keluarga penyuluh dan petani responden, serta dukungan dari aparat Desa Sawangan.Pengaruh interaksi sosial penyuluh pertanian dengan anggota kelompok tani padi semi organik memberi pengaruh yang nyata terhadap produksi padi, ini terbukti adanya suatu peningkatan produksi padi disetiap anggota petani padi semi organik Jatijaya pada musim tanam kedua April sampai September dengan rata-rata meningkat 10 % dan petani responden merasa ada pengaruh yang cukup kuat terhadap peningkatan produksi padi semi organik setelah adanya penyuluhan tentang budidaya padi semi organik.
