Abstract

This research aims to analyze the feasibility of the market and marketing of industrial establishment Dodol salak. The method used in this study is the survey method and sampling technik is accidental sampling. The number of samples taken 112 people. The results of the market and marketing analysis showed that 84 respondents (74.11%) had knowledge of Dodol salak. Respondents who had knowledge of Dodol salak 71 people (84.52%) had been consumed. Respondents who stated like Dodol salak by 67 people (79.76%). Dodol salak is a product that is preferred by consumers. The market for this products is still wide open. Dodol salak market development can be done through the promotion and guarantee the availability of products on the market. Key words: dodol salak and market aspects

Abstract

Dewasa ini penggunaan obat tradisional yang bersumber dari tumbuh-tumbuhan dimasyarakat semakin meningkat sebagai dampak dari konsep hidup kembali ke alam (back to nature). Salah satu tumbuhan yang dikembangkan sebagai tanaman obat di Indonesia adalah kencur (Kaemferia galanga). Kencur banyak digunakan sebagai bahan baku obat tradisional (jamu), fitofarmaka, industri kosmetika,penyedap makanan dan minuman, rempah, serta bahan campuran saus rokok pada industri rokok kretek. Secara empirik kencur digunakan sebagai penambah nafsu makan, infeksi bakteri, obat batuk, disentri, tonikum, ekspektoran, masuk angin, sakit perut karena rimpangnya mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder antara lain saponin, flavonoid, fenol serta minyak atsiri (Syamsuhidayat dan Johnny, 1991). Tahap awal keberhasilan kultur kalus yang dilakukan tidak lepas dari ketepatan pemilihan bahan dasar eksplan yang akan digunakan dan juga teknik sterilisasi yang dilakukan selama kultur kalus. Ketepatan pemilihan sterilan dan lamanya waktu pemberian sterilan pada berbagai macam eksplan ternyata memberikan respon yang berbeda. Penelitian ini merupakan upaya dalam perolehan metode sterilisasi yang tepat pada berbagai macam sumber eksplan berupa daun, akar dan irisan rhizome dalam media MS yang digunakan dalam kultur in vitro khususnya kultur kalus tanaman kencur (Kaemferia galanga), sehingga akan diperoleh metode sterilisasi yang sesuai untuyk perbanyakan kalus kencur. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa kombinasi perlakuan yang efektif untuk menekan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sumber kontaminasi adalah Natrium hipoklorit (NaOCl 10 %), 5 menit + Alkohol 70 % ,1 menit pada eksplan daun, kombinasi perlakuan Natrium hipoklorit (NaOCl 5 %), 5 menit + Alkohol 70 % ,1 menit untuk eksplan akar dan kombinasi perlakuan Alkohol 70 % ,1 menit + Kaporit (Ca(ClO)2) 6%, 20 menit untuk eksplan rimpang kencur. Sumber kontaminan yang dominan tumbuh adalah bakteri dan jamur dari jenis Mucor dan Rhizopus dengan cirri morfologi hifa berwarna putih hingga kelabu hitam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan upaya dalam perolehan kalus sebagai sumber metabolit sekunder melalui kultur kalus tanaman kencur (Kaemferia galanga) melalui modifikasi media tanam kultur kalus dengan berbagai konsentrasi sukrosa dan kombinasi zat pengatur tumbuh (2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid dan BAP). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, waktu penelitian selama 8 bulan. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan perlakuan konsentrasi sukrosa ( 20, 30 dan 40 g/l) dan perlakuan kombinasi 2,4 D (0,5 – 2 ppm) dan BAP ( 0 - 0,2 ppm).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi perlakuan sukrosa ( 20 – 40 g/l) dan zat pengatur tumbuh 2,4 D ( 1 – 3 ppm) dan BAP (0 – 0,2 ppm) dalam medium proliferasi kalus, perlakuan sukrosa memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel bobot segar kalus, bobot kering kalus serta morfologi kalus yang terbentuk. Perlakuan sukrosa 30 % dalam media proliferasi kalus memberikan hasil terbaik untuk variabel pengamatan bobot kalus yaitu seberat 3,8 gram, bobot kering kalus seberat 0,151 gram dengan keremahan kalus yang cukup tinggi dan warna kalus putih jernih.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan serta kelayakan usaha agroindustri getuk goreng di Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey dengan pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data primer dan data sekunder yang diambil dengan cara wawancara dari responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan bersih pengrajin sebesar Rp.12.530.615,4/bulan dengan R/C-ratio sebesar 1,63. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa usaha agroindustri getuk goreng di Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas layak untuk diusahakan.

Abstract

This research aim to learn the influence of combination of concentration plant growth regulator 2,4-D and BAP to callus induction at eksplan of Koempheria galanga leaf, proliferasi callus at eksplan and also know the interaction influence between 2,4-D and BAP to obtaining culture of callus Koempheria galanga which its growth good. This research was conducted from April to September 2010, in Laboratory of Tissue Culture, FKIP, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The Trial was arranged in Complete Random Design (CRD). Perception variable cover the : time induce the callus, percentage explant growth, callus volume which grow from explants leaf , culture appearance visually and percentage contamination. Result of research indicate that the Combination of concentration of Plant growth regulator 2,4-D at concentration 0 - 2 mg / l of medium and BAP at] concentration 0 - 0,3 mg / l medium still not yet able to induce formed is callus at eksplan of leaf Koempheria galanga during research. Disability Explants form the callus because of fenol high rate enough in tissue explant and also not yet proportional it concentration 2,4 D and Benzil Aminopurin which can depress the sintesis fenol in and death at explant of koempheria galanga leaf.

Abstract

Development of corn commodity is still superior commodity in West Nusa Tenggara in general and Sumbawa in particular. Therefore, information on corn farming in different agrosystem (wet and dry lands) is needed. Research location was determined purposively. The research used t-test analysis, R/C ratio, production factors, cost, revenue and farming income to analyze data. It is done in Labangka district having great potential for dry land cultivation and Utan district that is corn production center in wet area. Result of the research indicated that average productivity of farming in wet land and dry land are 6,716 kg/ha and 6,092 kg/ha, respectively with t=48.375. Average farmer income in wet area and dry area are Rp.11,183,273 and Rp.10,479,762, respectively. R/C ratio corn farming in dry land = 4,6 and R/C ratio corn farming in wet land = 3.3. It indicates that profit of corn farming in dry land at rainy season is lower than profit of corn farming in wet land in dry season. Keywords: corn farming, dry land, wet land

Abstract

The purpose of the research are to determine the pattern of corn marketing channel, the farmer share and margin of knowing the marketing of corn, the farmer knowing the difference of value farmer share and marketing margin of corn and he knowing the problems faced by farmers at the marketing of corn in Karangmalang village, Kedungbanteng Sub District, Tegal. The research used survey method. The study was conducted in Karangmalang village, Kedungbanteng Sub District, Tegal. The respondents taking use simple random sampling method and determined amounted to 120 farmers of corn, 3 merchant wholesalers, and 2 retailers. The study was conducted from February to December 2015. The results showing there are two patterns of marketing channels. The first marketing channel share of 91.66 percent and the second marketing channel by 96.55 per cent, the margins of the first marketing channel Rp.250,-/kg and the second marketing channel Rp.100,-/kg. Any the differences of farmers share and margins in the marketing of maize. The Problems faced by farmers in the marketing of corn there is the problem of payment of corn, the corn growers who sell to wholesalers not directly get the money. So that farmers find it difficult to play the capital for the next planting season.

Abstract

Murashige&Skoog-based medium Potatoes are one commodity that has the potential to be developed as a resource in the context of food diversification, farmers' income riser, non fossil export commodities and raw materials for processing industry. The objective of this research was to find out the effect of SP-36 fertilizer, KNO3 fertilizer, as well as the interaction between the two fertilizers on the growth of potato nodal culture on AB Mix media in vitro. The results of this study are expected to provide economical potato tissue culture media development. This research used factorial complete randomized design. The treatment were SP-36 concentration: 0 ppm; 50 ppm; 100 ppm; and 200 ppm, in combination with KNO3 concentration: 0 ppm; 100 ppm; 200 ppm; 400 ppm; and 600 ppm, The variables observed included number of leaves, leaf color, length of plantlets, fresh weight of plantlets and percentage of plantlets growth. Based on the results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) F. Calculate < F. Table with the average success of plantlet growth between 87.5-100%. In addition, there are four types of leaf color produced, namely the color of yellowish green, pale green leaves, green, and dark green. Research showed that the interaction between SP-36 fertilizer and KNO3 fertilizer on AB Mix media had no significant effect on all observed variables.

Abstract

This study aims to find the derivative of F1 which will be developed through klon. The research clones carried the glass house Vegetable Crops Research Center of Lembang start March to December 2007. Materials consist of : clone no. 2003/3, klon 2003/5, klon 418, Tiron, Ilokos, SHD, India, Cokol Green, clone no.9, onion leaves and Maja. The final results obtained 1) Plant interest that should be a little late flowering at the age of 30 days after flower plant. 2) Persentase be very low ranging from 5-10%. 3) High rates ranged between 40-50 %. 4) The combination yield obtained from 66 hybrid combinations of F1 seeds weighing an average of 0,1-1,9 grams.
