Abstract

Hypertension is a serious medical condition that can increase the risk of heart failure, chronic kidney disease, brain disease and others. Hypertension is a major risk factor for global death. Uncontrolled hypertension was defined as a measure of systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg based on the mean of three measurements in hypertensive patients and with or without antihypertensive treatment. Chronic disease management (Prolanis) is a proactive and integrated program that involves participants, health facilities, especially health centers and the national health insurance called BPJS which aims to encourage patients with chronic diseases to achieve optimal quality of life. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of uncontrolled hypertension in Prolanis patients in Semarang City. This study used case control method. The research sample consisted of 148 respondents (74 cases and 74 controls) with a purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data by interview using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square  test and logistic regression. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the variables of age (p = 0.003), education (p = 0.032), stress (p = 0.023) and cholesterol levels (p = 0.008) with the incidence of uncontrolled hypertension in Prolanis patients in Semarang City. The most related variable was age (p = 0.028. OR = 3.469). Increasing age related to risk factors for hypertension is supported by the presence of psychological problems such as stress, can be reduced by spiritual activity and the provision of health education about changes in the cardiovascular system and adaptation to lifestyle changes will be able to reduce uncontrolled hypertension factors.

The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. The data collection method used a K10 questionnaire. The data analysis method used the chi-square test. This study showed that 61.1% of respondents were aged 20-21 years, 80.3% of respondents were female, and 51.6% of respondents did not experience depression. Furthermore, there was no significant relationship between age (p-value = 0.295> 0.005) and gender with the level of depression (p-value = 0.415> 0.005). It is hoped that this research can add to the public's views regarding depression levels in students during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of gender and age.

The research objective was to analyze the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding in Pemalang. This study used a cross-sectional design. The research sample of 110 respondents was obtained by using the cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, questionnaires. Data analysis in the study used the Chi-Square test and multivariate analysis. The results showed that the experience of breastfeeding and verbal persuasion had a direct or indirect effect on exclusive breastfeeding. The factor of observation of other people and verbal persuasion does not affect exclusive breastfeeding. Breastfeeding self-efficacy has a direct effect on exclusive breastfeeding with values (b = 3.82; 95% CI = 1.56 to 6.07; p = 0.001). Pneumonia often occurs and attacks the community, especially toddlers at Public Health Center (PUSKESMAS) Pati I in Pati Regency. There are many unknown factors of this disease. The purpose of this study was to analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic factors causing pneumonia in children under five years old at Publich Health Center (PUSKESMAS) Pati I. The research method used in this study was an analytical survey with a case control study design. The total sampling used was 35 toddlers. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Observations were made through direct observation and measurement of age, breastfeeding, nutritional status, family income, family smoking habits, ventilation, and the incidence of pneumonia in children under five years old or toddlers. The data in this study was analyzed by using Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate analysis. The results showed that nutritional status (p=0.046), smoking habits (p=0.03) and ventilation (p=0.000) has an effect on the incidence of pneumonia. Meanwhile, age (p=0.398), breastfeeding (p=0.464), and family income (p=0.497) has no effect on the incidence of pneumonia. The most influential factor on the incidence of pneumonia in children under five years old or toddlers is home ventilation with an odds ratio of 40,866. Efforts to improve the health condition of toddlers with pneumonia at Public Health Center Pati I are carried out with Psychoeducation and Health Education activities.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever cases 2018 in Banyuwangi were almost evenly widespread from January to December with the peak of the case in October. In addition, the Case Fatality Rate of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Banyuwangi has also increased compared to the previous years. This study aims to identify areas or sub-districts in Banyuwangi Regency that are at high risk of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever transmission and obtain information on the risk of an area or sub-district associated with other surrounding areas or sub-districts based on spatial analysis (space effects). This study was nonreactive research that uses a spatial approach to analyze the risk of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever transmission in an area using GeoDa spatial analysis, including excess risk map and spatial rate map. Areas or sub-districts in Banyuwangi Regency classified as high risk of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever transmission are Wongsorejo, Banyuwangi, Kabat, and Giri Sub-district. Meanwhile, the sub-districts with a very high risk of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever when linked with the surrounding sub-districts that intersect or border include the Sub-district of Kabat, Banyuwangi, Giri, Glagah, and Kalipuro. Giri is a sub-district with the highest risk of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever transmission to the surrounding sub-districts that intersect or border with a rate of 13.4 per 10,000 populations. The benefits of this research are expected to increase knowledge especially in GeoDa spatial analysis, provide information on DHF risk areas, and be used as a reference in making policy efforts related to the risk of DHF transmission.
