Abstract

Prevalensi rokok baik di Indonesia maupun Negara berkembang mengalami peningkatan dan terjadi pada golongan pria sebesar 67%. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh agama, tingkat religious serta partisipasi dalam masyarakat tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui potensi pendukung kebiasaan merokok. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian analitik deskriptif dengan rancang bangun cross sectional. Sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari Indonesia life survey 5 (IFLS5). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agama islam dan protestan secara signifikan menjadi pendorong kebiasaan merokok dengan berturut turut 2,01 dengan CI=1,38-2,90 dan 1,89 dengan CI=1,22-2,92. Tingkat religius tinggi signifikan menjadi faktor protektif sebagai pendukung kebiasaan merokok dengan OR=0,55 dengan CI=0,49-061. Tingkat partisipasi baik dalam masyarakat tidak signifikan menjadi potensi pendukung kebiasaan merokok dengan OR=1,03 dengan CI=0,87-1,08. Faktor agama dan tingkat religiusitas menjadi potensi pendukung terhadap kebiasaan merokok, sedangkan partisipasi dalam masyarakat tidak menjadi potensi pendukung kebiasaan merokok. Adanya penelitian ini diharapkan mampu untuk menjadi landasan pengambil keputusan dalam menentukan langkah menurunkan kebiasaan merokok sehingga jumlah perokok khususnya di Indonesia

Abstract

Support Parents is the important thing and needed by a child especially in the transition as a new college student if they wander. This situation is causing new college students to be prone to depression. The purpose of this research is to analyze the support of parents with depression in new college students. Data collection was done using a questionnaire online with 110 respondents. The research was done in May-June 2020 on first-year students at Ailangga University Banyuwangi Campus. Data analysis using the chi-square. The result showed that the dimensions of parental support in the form of instrumental support (ρ=0.036) and appreciation support (ρ=0,00) having relationships because ρ values < 0,05. The research indicated that the majority of new students suffer from depression in the high category (50,9%). The result of the chi-square relationship supports parents with depression level in first college students = 0,012 (ρ<0,05). The value of ρ obtained less than 0,05 means there is a significant relationship between support parents with the level of depression in new college students. The result of this research can be used as reference policies on activities that will be held by the campus for the new college students, with the aim of preventing or reduce depression in new college students. This research can also be a reference for parents in providing support to their children.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused teaching and learning activities to be carried out online. With this policy, students will easily experience depression due to limited space. This study aims to identify the age, gender, and level of depression of Airlangga University students and analyze the relationship between age and gender with the level of depression of Airlangga University students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach carried out in April - June 2020. The population in this study were Airlangga University students, with a sample of 386 students. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. The data collection method used a K10 questionnaire. The data analysis method used the chi-square test. This study showed that 61.1% of respondents were aged 20-21 years, 80.3% of respondents were female, and 51.6% of respondents did not experience depression. Furthermore, there was no significant relationship between age (p-value = 0.295> 0.005) and gender with the level of depression (p-value = 0.415> 0.005). It is hoped that this research can add to the public's views regarding depression levels in students during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of gender and age.

Abstract

Healthy People Mall (Mall Orang Sehat/MOS) is a health service facility at the Public Health Center and its network that provides promotive and preventive service with the purpose of a healthy community. The COVID-19 pandemic has some impacts on all sectors of life, including the implementation of the MOS program. This study aimed to develop the Healthy People Mall as a promotive and preventive service of the Public Health Center during the COVID-19 pandemic in Banyuwangi Regency. This was an observational study with a survey approach conducted in the Public Health Center working areas. The number of samples obtained in this study were 389 consisting of adult communities who utilized the Public Health Center. The result of the study showed that the community learned about the MOS program through banners. The majority of the services that were utilized by the community was health promotion. The COVID-19 has an impact on the accessibility of MOS which can be seen from the drastic decline in the number of visits. Another impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was the increasing frequency of accessing the internet by the respondents. MOS development is necessary to be carried out that it can still provide safe and comfortable service, and do not harm each other.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate is still far from the target of SDGs 2030 is an indicator depicting low society prosperity in Indonesia. One of the factors were due to Women of Fertile Age at risk of Chronic Energy Deficiency at age 15 until 19 years. This situation is exacerbated by the high age of marriage less than 20 years which certainly interfere with reproductive health. Nutrition motivationer program in Banyuwangi isn’t optimal yet because it does not cover health aspect pre pregnancy and cadre isn’t functioning as health motivationer. Therefore, it is necessary to empower the cadres to optimize the health service. The aimed to increase cadre knowledge about pregnancy and reproductive health as well as to improve cadre communication skill as health motivationer. The conducted in Segobang Village, District of Licin, Banyuwangi on September 2016. The target was Segobang Village cadres who are active in Posyandu. Then result was more than 67 percent knowledge of cadres were good and 94 percent of cadre knowledge increases. Communication skills were demonstrated by the evaluation of Women of Fertile Age that comes during simulation, almost all cadres can deliver well and clearly so understood by the woman. It was be concluded that almost all cadre increased him knowledge according to pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Communication skills of the cadres showed good results.

Abstract

Health providers in Indonesia have an obligation to realize the improvement of health status through the national health system. The effort that must be done by the hospital in realizing these goal is the improvement of other services that is preventive and promotive. Therefore, Indonesia has implemented the health improvement by establishing a committee of Public Health Extension Workers which was changed in 2003 into Hospital Health Promotion. Health promotion is conducted in hospitals in order to develop the understanding of patients, families and visitors of the hospital with health problems and prevention efforts. Fatimah Islamic Hospital has implemented health promotion in hospitals in improving the quality of complete health services. This study aims to determine the implementation of health promotion that has been done by RSI Fatimah in Banyuwangi. The method used is interview and observation. Interviews were conducted to the PKRS team using an interview guide. While the observations made using instruments made based on references related theory of health promotion standards in hospitals. Based on the research results, health promotion conducted at RSI Fatimah as a whole has fulfilled the requirements of laws. Starting from the policy until the implementation is well arranged and directed. The division of PKRS officers consists of various fields that facilitate dissemination of health promotion information. In almost every service there is visual information such as leaflets, posters and information boards. Fatimah hospital is also active in providing counseling to patients, patient families and other health workers in an effort to increase knowledge on certain health problems, as well as spiritual guidance to inpatients. The fulfillment of health promotion needs in general has been well implemented, but at the point of providing information to the surrounding community isn’t intense and hasn’t formed a specific health group for community empowerment.

Abstract

Health is the most important thing that must be known by many people. Awareness of the importance of health needs to be instilled early on so that children can easily apply it in their lives. To support this, the government launched a health promotion program in schools. Health promotion is the way in which efforts can be made to improve public health and the environment in the community. Many ways can be done so that people can do disease prevention, one of them is by applying health education. Health education is an effort to provide guidance to learners about health covering physical, mental and social aspect in order to improve and develop with good knowledge, attitude, and practice related to healthy life principle. Base on of this background, the authors do research to determine the state of health education in schools. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of health education in the educational institution in accordance with the guidelines of the implementation of UKS and Ottawa Charter. The method of implementation of this activity is to use interview techniques and practices based on an instrument that has been validated by researchers along with supervisors. This activity was conducted on May 2nd, 2018 for 10 respondents, one coach, four students, and five members of the Red Cross Teen. The institution that researchers chose was SMP Negeri 1 Giri Banyuwangi. The conclusion of this study indicates that the implementation of health promotion in SMP Negeri 1 Giri Banyuwangi still not in accordance with the Guidelines for Implementation of UKS in School Year 2014, so the result of this research can be used as advocacy material to SMP Negeri 1 Giri Banyuwangi. Abstract

Health services conducted by hospitals must prioritize quality and satisfaction for consumers. Internal hospital customers are hospital works that have a major role in providing services to consumers. Analysis Methods This study uses Quantitative Descriptive Analysis method. For a large sample of staff employees taken 20% of all employees (589 people) at Blambangan Regional General Hospital Banyuwangi regency of 125 people by systematic random sampling. The results of this study indicate that the level of satisfaction of employee employee karywan for 68.95 included in the category of satisfaction. Hospital employee satisfaction value is the highest indicator of job satisfaction that is mentally challenging with the value of employee satisfaction of 71.72, while the lowest hospital employee satisfaction value is a reasonable indicator of Rewards satisfaction with employee satisfaction score of 64.23. Accreditation of Blambangan Public Hospital of Banyuwangi Regency earned the title of Plenary.This study reviews materials for the management of the hospital to make improvements in the role of hospital employees to perform services to the community and management evaluation in improving the performance of employees in the organization. Keyword : Job Satisfaction, Accreditation, Quality of Hospital
