Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan ruang bengkel kayu di SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung berdasarkan standar yang disyaratkan oleh Permendiknas No. 40 Tahun 2008, SNI 03-6572-2001 dan SNI 03-65752001. Hal ini dilakukan untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi penggunanya. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif evaluatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah bengkel kayu, sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah luas ruang, pencahayaan, ventilasi, peralatan dan kondisi fasilitas bengkel kayu. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi atau pengamatan, dan pengukuran di lapangan. Teknik mendapatkan data mengunakan meteran, alat lux meter, higrometer, termometer dan anemometer. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) luas area kerja kayu tangan belum memenuhi standar, luas ruang area mesin kayu sudah memenuhi standar, ruang kerja konstruksi kayu belum ada. Luas ruang penyimpanan dan instruktur bengkel kayu memenuhi standar (2) pencahayaan bengkel kayu pada pagi hari belum memenuhi standar, pada siang hari memenuhi standar, dan pada sore hari kurang memenuhi standar (3) tingkat temperatur ventilasi udara kurang memenuhi standar pada siang dan sore hari, tingkat temperatur ventilasi udara memenuhi standar pada pagi, tingkat kelembapan udara rata-rata pagi hari memenuhi standar, siang hari memenuhi standar, sore hari memenuhi standar, tingkat kecepatan angin rata-rata pagi hari dan siang hari tidak memenuhi standar,dan sore hari memenuhi standar. (4) peralatan dan alat pelindung diri dan alat kelengkapan bengkel kayu belum memenuhi standar, terdapat 12 alat working station ganda yang memenuhi standar (5) fasilitas kelengkapan perabot terdapat 4 jenis alat belum memenuhi standar dan 5 jenis alat memenuhi standar, dan kondisi jamban terdapat 4 kriteria belum memenuhi standar dan 5 memenuhi standar.

Abstract

This purpose of the research is determine by existence of result difference learn Construction Drawing Building. Many student get low value in face of Final Exam School (UAS). The research aim to to know how big motivation contribution learn to learn to learning achievement Contruction Material class student of X Tecnique Drawing Building in SMK 1 Balige. This reseach include in correlational type. Responden in this research is student class of X Technique Draw Buillding who following subject Construction Material school year 2015/2016 in SMK N 1 Balige. The selection of the sampel using technique total sampling with amount of sampel 55 student. Data type is used by data primary and data sekunder. Primary data gotten with spreading of kuesioner about learning  motivation which is propagated to student, while data of sekunder is gotten from the UAS class student construction material of X Technique Drawing Buillding. The analytical method that used is descriptive analysis. The test requirement analysis using test of normality and linearity to prove that data swampy forest come from sampel which have normal distribution an linear. Hereinafter examination of hypothesis. Result of this research analysis indicate that value of r 0,534 > 0,05 with Interpretation Coeffcient is too low. The results of this research is shows that contributions equal to 28, 51%. Based of acquire of examination result, can be pulled by contribution to learning achiement class construction material of X Tecnique Drawing of SMK N 1 Balige equal to 28,51%. Keyword: Contribution, Learning Motivation, Learing Achievment.

Abstract

Abstract —The background of this design is the lack of school infrastructure in SMKN 1 Padang, including pedestrian facility for linking all buildings and assembly hall as a meeting room for school stakeholder. The design scheme includes programming, data analysis, concept making, and design activities. Primary data were obtained from interviews and field surveys, while secondary data were obtained from literature study. Macro analysis techniques were used to analyze area and building site, while micro analysis was carried out toward design objects. The results of the design are 1 assemby hall and podium room with an area of 390 m2, 2 units male and female lavatory with an area of 11.5 m2 each, 2 units male and female changing room with an area of 5 m2 each, 1 unit lobby room with an area of 13.5 m2, 1 unit tool room with an area of 2.5 m2, 1 unit warehouse with an area of 2.5 m2, 1 unit reception room with an area of 4.5 m2, and pedestrian facility linking all buildings. The budget plan for the design is Rp. 3,948,434,000.00 (Three billion nine hundred forty-eight million four hundred thirty-four thousand rupiahs). Keywords: Assembly Hall Design, Pedestrian.

Abstract

Abstract—The research begins from the lack of work foce character needed the construction industry in Tanah Datar District. This research is a descriptive study with the number of population as many as 103 construction industries in Tanah Datar. Sample in This research is as much as 51 construction industry by using technique propotional random sampling. The data were collected using a questionnaire with scale Likert consisting of 4 choices of answers with positive and negative statements.The number of items in the questionnaire were 72 points. The results of this study indicate from 18 indicators of power characters work required by the construction industry, there are 6 indicators included on very high category of responsibility, honest, discipline, hard work, achievement and religious As for which included in the high category that is 12 indicators, which include the high category of social care, independent, creative environmental care, friendly / communicative,peace love, curiosity, peace love, the spirit of nationality, love the homeland, democratic, fond read , and tolerance. Keywords: Character of Labor, World of Construction Industry

Abstract

Abstract—This research begins with the problem of low student learning outcomes on Survey and Mapping subject. Based on the problem, we conducted this study the main purpose of this study is to   determine what is the most dominant internal factors which give effect to student learning outcomes in the subject of Survey and Mapping at education Building study Program FT UNP. This type of research  descriptive quantitative. The population in this study  the students who take the Survey and mapping courses from July to December 2015 and 2016 which consist of 166 students. Samples were taken using Total Sampling technique. Technique of collecting data using questionnaire with likert scale. Questionnaire in this research a questionnaire about internal factors that affect student learning outcomes. The technique of data analysis using descriptive analysis by calculating the percentage of each subindicator using the formula of degree of achievement (DP). The conclusion of this research shows that health factor the most dominant factor influencing student learning outcomes of Study Program of Building Engineering Education Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering State University of Padang with degree achievement of  80,31% with big scoring category. Keywords: Internal Factors, Learning Outcomes, Survey and Mapping

Abstract

Abstract   This study aims to reveal what the cause of the lack of student interest in participating in the Student Entrepreneurship Program. The population in this study were students of Department of Civil Engineering Prodi D3 and S1 year in 2011. This research is a quantitative descriptive. This research used simple random sampling from a population of 60 153 people. were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale which consist of four answer choices. The number of statements in the questionnaire was 48 point statements. The finding of the research showed that of achievement of 61.92% is included in the low category. The main causes are the most affected by the lack of interest of students in participating PMW is the degree of attainment of information with 58.44%. Apart from other causes information student interest in participating in the PMW is the value of the degree of attainment of knowledge with 60.29%, emotions (feelings of pleasure) 62.91%, 63.06% willingness, and the latter can lead to lack of interest of students to PMW is attention to the degree of achievement of 63.26%. Abstract

Abstract― These studies are motivated by the delay in the study of Building Engineering Education Alumni Study and the lack of student awareness of soft skills in the learning process on campus. Therefore, it is necessary to know whether there is a relationship between soft skills and the duration of the Alumni Study Program in Building Engineering Education FT UNP. This type of research is descriptive research. The study population was 113 Alumni Education Engineering Study Program alumni of the class of 2012, 2013 and 2014 who had completed their studies from September 2016 to September 2018. The sampling technique used was the Taroyamane formula. There are two data obtained in this study, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through questionnaires distributed to respondents, while secondary data are all data obtained from the administration of Civil Engineering FT UNP. Data analysis techniques used are: 1) Descriptive data analysis, 2) Test requirements analysis consisting of normality test and linearity test, 3) hypothesis testing consisting of correlation test, significance tes and determinant coeficien test. The results showed that there was a relationship between soft skills and the duration of the study period. In this study, soft skills were found to contribute 10.11% to the duration of the study period. Keywords: Soft Skills, Duration of Study Period.

Abstract

Abstract Industrial internship (prakerin) is one of collective program between vocational high school (SMK) and industries which is conducted in corporate world (DU/DI). Prakerin implementation at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is disharmony with prakerin implementation from other vocational high school, from the beginning of prakerin activities to the completion of final report.  Based on this situation, this study is purposed to describe student’s perception to administration service, activities implementation, and supervisory of prakerin program at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh. The type of this research is descriptive. This research is conducted for students of SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh in building engineering study program with total respondent of 47 students. Research finding shows that prakerin administration service in SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is poorly implemented and unfits the guidance book, from 3 sub-indicator, one indicator is categorized as good, two other indicators is categorized as poor. Prakerin implementation at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is categorized as moderate for six sub-indicators that studied. Supervision is not implemented properly where two out of two indicators show poor supervision. Overall, it can be concluded that prakerin implementation at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is not performed properly. Keywords: perception, student, Prakerin.

Abstract

Abstrak - Meningkatnya ketertarikan mahasiswa terhadap profesi di bidang jasa konstruksi setelah melaksanakan Pengalaman Lapangan Industri dapat berdampak terhadap menurunnya minat mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan untuk memilih profesi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan Pengalaman Lapangan Industri, (2) mengetahui minat terhadap profesi guru, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan Pengalaman Lapangan Industri terhadap minat memilih profesi guru bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian expost facto dengan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan Pengalaman Lapangan Industri pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan pada kategori cukup dengan persentase sebesar 51,11%, minat terhadap profesi guru pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase sebesar 75,56%, dan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pelaksanaan Pengalaman Lapangan Industri terhadap minat memilih profesi guru pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Kata kunci: Pelaksanaan Pengalaman Lapangan Industri, Minat, Profesi Guru.
