Abstract

Abstract—This research started from many student  takes a long time in completing the thesis. This type of researchin descriptive correlational research with quantitative approach.Sampling technique using Total sample of 31 students. Data collected by using questionnaire with Likert Scale consisting of 4 answer choices. The total of questionnaire items in library utilization variable (X) is 21 points and thesis completion variable (Y) is 18 point. Data analysis techniques include: descriptive data, test requirements analysis and hypothesis testing.The result of research proves that there is contribution of library utilization ofstudents’s Civil Engineering Department to the completion thesis of Student’s Building Engineering of FT UNP. The correlation coefficient is 0,736, ttest  the value of significance is 5,73 greater than ttable 1,69913 and library utilization contribution is 54,17% on completion of thesis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   In general , upper secondary education ( high school ) in Indonesia consists of three institutions namely High School ( SMA ) , Aliah Madrasah ( MA ) and Vocational School ( SMK ) . SMA and MA aims to educate students / i continue kejenjang higher studies like college or university , while vocational aims to educate students / i be a middle-level manpower , even though they are also able to continue the high keperguruan . The success of education at high school level , both SMA / MA or SMK will affect learning outcomes in higher education at the college .This research is a comparative study that aims to investigate differences in learning outcomes at the course Engineering Drawing by the student's home school Education Program S1 Building Engineering Department of Civil Engineering , State University of Padang . The research hypothesis that there are differences in learning outcomes at the course Engineering Drawing by the student's home school Education Program S1 Building Engineering Department of Civil Engineering , State University of Padang . The population in this study were all students of UNP PTB FT class of 2009 , 2010, 2011 and 2012 were studied Engineering Drawing courses totaling 211 students . Stratified sampling technique that is proportional random sampling with a sample of 165 students .Based on the results of independent test samples t tests showed results of Self Development significance value 0.000 < 0.05 Ho rejected , Projection 0.284 > 0.05 Ho accepted and for Value Figure 0.043 < 0.05 Ho rejected 0,803 > 0.05 , then Ho is rejected , there is a difference in learning outcomes eye college engineering drawings between students from high school and college students from SMK . Proven hypothesis described . based on the results of research using SPSS to test independent samples t tests showed results of significant value for the principal sub Basic Drawing Skills and 0.000 > 0.05 means that Ho is rejected , subject to sub Projection significance value 0.284 > 0.05 means that Ho is accepted and for Learning Outcomes Picture technique with 0.043 significance value of <0.05 means that Ho is rejected , there is a difference of learning outcomes between technical drawing courses from high school students and students from SMK . Proven hypothesis described . Based on the research results can be seen in the average value ( mean ) dati students from high schools and students from SMK , the principal sub Basic Drawing Skills and 73.1323 and 81.7608 , the principal sub 74.7860 and 73.6199 and Projections Average Picture Learning Outcomes 73.9591 Engineering and 77.6904Berdasarkan research conducted it can be concluded that this could happen because when viewed from the side of the stimulus received tiori learning different vocational students with students of SMA / MA , so they give a different response . Students are more focused on the practice of vocational / pisikomotor , while high school students are more focused to koknitif / thinking .   Keywords : learning outcomes , engineering drawings , and the school of origin

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat kenyamanan ruang Perpustakaan UNP berdasarkan persepsi Mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 549 mahasiswa, yang di dapat dari jumlah rata-rata pengunjung perhari pada periode semester Juli-Desember 2017/2018. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 232 mahasiswa didapatkan dari rumus Slovin dengan taraf kesalahan sebesar 5%, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Accidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket (Kuisioner) dengan skala Likert yang terdiri dari lima pilihan jawaban. Jumlah pernyataan pada angket adalah 44 butir. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskritif persentase. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkaan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kenyamanan ruang Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Padang, masih kurang nyaman. Hal ini di tunjukan dengan skor rata-rata dari enam indikator yang ada hanya dua indikator yang masuk dalam kriteria nyaman yaitu  pencahayaan (3,49) dan aksesbilitas (3,43), Sedangkan untuk indikator pengudaraan (2,58), warna (3,21), petunjuk/tanda (3,27), serta keamanan dan keselamatan (3,28), masih belum masuk ke dalam kriteria nyaman

Abstract

Abstract--. This research start from the observations by the author to the completeness of practice equipment at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine needs of equipment and the level of availability forpractices Finishing Building in the Building Engineering Program at SMK Negeri 1 Padang.This type of research is a survey research using a quantitative approach and this research is descriptive. The method used in this study is the method of observation and interview (questionnaire). This analysis compares the equipment needed with what is available.This analysis compares the equipment available with the equipment needed. There are three classifications of equipment requirements such as: individual needs, group needs, classical needs. The results of this study indicate that in general the needs of equipment forpractices Finishing Buildingin the Building Engineering Program at SMK N 1 Padang are still many that are incomplete. The availability of equipment inpractices Finishing Buildingin the Building Engineering Expertise Program at SMK N 1 Padang is that there are still many individual and group needs that have not met the needs but in the classical needs are sufficient and required. Keywords: Needs Analysis, Needs Standard, Equipment

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi Mekanika Teknik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik di Kelas X Teknik Konstruksi dan Properti (TKP)  SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah The Non Equivalent Control Group. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TKP SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat. Pada penelitian ini terdapat 2 kelas yaitu, Kelas X DPIB A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas X DPIB B sebagai kelas kontrol. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil pretest siswa yang diberikan sebelum perlakuan dan hasil posttest siswa yang diberikan setelah perlakuan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada kedua kelas. Berdasarkan perhitungan hipotesis dengan uji-t, diperoleh thitung sebesar 2.226, nilai tersebut lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 2.042. thitung > ttabel menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model NHT dengan model konvensional pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik Kelas X TKP di SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe NHT, Hasil Belajar, Mekanika Teknik

Abstract

Abstract—The aim of this research is to determine the achievement of student from student facilitator and expalining method, the resign of the research is most of study result under of passing grade in January-June. The low value of the student revealed when the researcher did PLK activities on January-June 2017. Research saw that the value of many students under the KKM was 78 with the number of the students who didn’t complete reach, 74,07%. Looking at this problem, so that researcher was interested to apply the method of learning student facilitator and explaining on drawing subject with software. The implementation of this learning model strategy was aimed to improve the result of studying on drawing subject with softwareThis research was conducted in SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera TGB majoring class XI, it included exprimental methode with cooperative approach. Sampling in this research’s using simple random sampling technique. The procedure that be used is by giving pretest, tecated and posttest.The result was obtained from the improvement of studying, after the applied learning method, with the average for the cognitive aspect started with 69 and increased to 81 initially 43 increased to 71 and for thepsychomotor aspect initially 59 to 77.Based on the result above, it can be concluded thatthe student learning class XI TGB SMK N 1 West Sumatera increased after applying this method.Keywords:Learning Achievement,Student Facilitator and Explaining.

Abstract

penelitian ini berawal dari adanya masalah rendahnya nilai siswa SMK Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan kelas X Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan. Rendahnya nilai siswa terungkap pada saat peneliti melakukan wawancara kepada guru mata Pelajaran Mekanika Teknik. Peneliti melihat bahwa nilai siswa banyak yang di bawah KKM. Melihat masalah ini maka peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan strategi model pembelajaran Collaborative Learning (CL) tipe Jigsaw pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik. Penelitian ini termasuk kepada jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment (eksperimen semu)dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan datamenggunakan tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest) berupa soal objektif sebanyak 25 soal. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata (t-test).Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Collaborative Learning tipe Jigsaw memiliki nilai rata-rata (80) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan nilai rata-rata (72). Sedangkan dari perhitungan t-test diperoleh thitung besar dari ttabel. Sehingga hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Collaborative Learning tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik kelas X Desain Permodelan dan Informasi Bangunan SMK N 1 Koto XI Tarusan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum terpenuhinya penguasaan keterampilan abad 21 oleh guru SMK Negeri 2 Solok. Keterampilan abad 21 mengutamakan penerapan teknologi dan informasi yang berkaitan dengan aspek kecakapan hidup dan karir (life and career skills), keterampilan belajar dan berinovasi (learning and innovation skills) dan penggunaan teknologi dan media informasi (information media and technology skills). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengungkapkan tingkat penerapan keterampilan abad 21 oleh guru-guru kejuruan SMK Negeri 2 Solok. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan populasi sebanyak 53 orang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Temuan peneliti menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerapan keterampilan abad 21 oleh guru-guru kejuruan SMK Negeri 2 Solok berada pada kategori baik.
