Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) the description of job satisfaction in the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Bulukumba Regency, 2) the description of Organizational Citizenship Behavior at the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Bulukumba Regency, 3) the effect of job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior at the Office Ministry of Religion of Bulukumba Regency. The type of research is an ex post facto research. Respondents in this study were 74 employees taken as a whole at the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Bulukumba Regency. Data collection techniques used were job satisfaction scale, Organizational Citizenship Behavior scale and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) job satisfaction is good; 2) Organizational Citizen Behavior is good; 3) there is an influence of job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior in the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Bulukumba Regency.

Abstract

The problem of this research is on the roles and functions of madrasah supervisors in improving the quality of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district of Bone regency. It’s important to know the understanding of supervisors on their roles and functions in improving the quality of schools, the planning of supervisors in conducting their roles and functions, and the implementation of supervision in improving the quality of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district of Bone regency. This reseach was a qualitative research where the main sources of the research data were the head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bone, Madrasah supervisors, Principals, teachers, and staffs of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through three stages of data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing. The results of this research showed that the supervisors’ understanding was monotonous in which the supervisors prepared their programs according to the supervisory standard. In addition, the supervisors merely made a one-time visit to 24 different madrasas which could be considered to be inefffective.

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the technical principal's managerial skills and factors that support and inhibit. It focuses on two main issues, namely: (1) What is the principal's managerial skills in terms of: Conceptual skills, Administrative skills, Human relationship skills, and. The concept of the principal leads to the Vision of the School Mission, and implements the open managerial concept in its management. The principal always cooperates, coordinated with all related elements and always gives motivation to the teachers and learners. Monitoring, evaluating and evaluating and constantly controlling school equipment. Factors that support the principal's managerial skills are all stakeholders in the school including; teachers, students, administrators, and society.

Abstract

Education, in a simply meaning is making human being human, done through the process of learning. This process includes organizing to organize the environment of the class that will influence to their motivation of learning. In this case, the teacher is the main star to reach the goal of the meaningful learning. Among those activites the teachers should go through is supervision. Educational supervision is a service or an assistance given by the supervisor to the teachers in order to improve the quality of teaching and leaning,or a better teaching and learning situation. The principal at school is the supervisor for the teachers at school. The principal holds an important function in helping the teachers to improve their competencies and professionalism as well. In some schools, the supervisor make hard efforts to do their responsibility as supervisors, however, the result is still far from what it is expected. There is an image that the presence of the supervisor is just like a “monster” for the teachers. It is because of the attitude of the supervisor, such as insists his willingness, finds the teacher’s mistake, arrogant, and the other negative attitudes. These negative attitudes make the teachers feel inferior, powerless. This condition will contribute to a negative influence on the teacher’s motivation in exploring their creativity in teaching.

Abstract

This paper aims to announce the implementation of finance education management. The immplemtation of school education financial management is usually carried out and implemented the functions of education financial management, especially the management of BOS funds, but is still constrained by peruses before the receipt of BOS funds and the slow disbursement of funds from determinants of policies that influence subsequent program. In accordance with this fact, the authors suggest that it is better to implement school financial management, especially in the management of BOS funds, to improve management systems in administrative management, especially in the collection of pedagogic data for completing the conditions for receiving BOS funds for schools so that plans can be implemented and the skills of the principal to find other funding sources to overcome the limited founds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at Mdrasah Aliyah Ghoyatul Jihad, Karawang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach, correlative survey method with 23 respondents. Using saturated sampling and data collection techniques using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive analysis using SPSS version 16.0 Windows software. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership on teacher performance with a Pearson correlation level of 0.848. The correlation was very strong. so that it can be interpreted that if there is a positive change in the transformational leadership score of one unit it will make a positive change in teacher performance. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that transformational leadership has a positive effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Education is a long-term investment in designing the pattern of human life in the future. First, education as an effort oriented to the formation of a potential human figure intellectually through the learning process; Secondly, education is an ethnically and ethnically formative society through the transfer of values process contained therein; Third, education is one of the guarantees to gain a better life as well as high dignity. In order for education to be an investment then the development and dynamics of educational institutions to a better direction is a necessity. One of the theoretical concepts offered in this paper is the implementation of strategic management and operational management in educational institutions. Through these two theoretical concepts, management of educational institutions is expected to direct and influence the quality of education products / outcomes such as curriculum, administration of institutional management and students.

Abstract

Education is obligatory for all elements of society, be it formal or non formal education. A school principal has a duty and a very important role in the achievement of the objectives of education in the school. To learn more about the leadership of the principal, done research/observation through a live interview to the head of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The themes raised in the study "the role of Principal Leadership in the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in SMA muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta". In this journal contained a study analyzing about the role and policies of the school principal in improving the quality of education through the efforts of the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with good. 2013 is the curriculum of a recently applied for two years in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Therefore, the necessary role of the entire element in particular principal as leader of the highest in the school environment so that it can be applied to the curriculum entirely in 2013 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Administration and supervision are supporting tools for achieving educational goal. Likewise also the purpose of school education can also be achieved if there is a systimatic and continous administration and super vision activities. Super vision theory from perspective of the approachused begins with directive supervision. But after seeing the axxistence of supervision ineffctiveness, the directive then emerged the teory of non directive supervision.   But, after seeing the existence of supervision ineffectiveness, the directive then emerged the theory of non directive supervision. The ineffectiveness of directive supervision because directive supervision does not give teachers the opportunity to develop their abilities aand creativity, full responsibility is on the supervisor, so the supervisor is dominnt. This is one of the factors behind the birth of the ssupervisor directive.

Abstract

The problem of this paper is, how is the creativity of Islamic religious education teacher (PAI) in the use of instructional media and how the efforts of PAI teachers in the development of learning media and what constraints or obstacles faced by teachers of Islamic Education (PAI) in the development of creativity use learning media and How is the solution made by teachers of Islamic Education (PAI) in the development of creativity use of instructional media. Concluded that in learning Islamic Religious Education manually, in the learning process using learning media. Because in each class is prepared media LCD Prejector. But depending on the learning materials (conditional). In addition, teachers also have the creativity in using the existing learning media and use methods appropriate to the material that will convey, that is tailored to the material, objectives, methods, characteristics of students in the classroom, it is intended that the use of learning media does not deviate from materials, objectives, methods, characteristics of students so that students' understanding with the use of learning media can be more easily achieved.
