Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out and analyze the relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes at State Elementary School 3 Allakuang, Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research is quantitative research by distributing questionnaires to 44 students. This study used a simple linear regression analysis method to determine the effect of learning motivation on student learning achievement, and correlation coefficient to measure the relationship between one variable and another variable. The results showed that motivation had a significant influence on student learning achievement and there was a positive relationship between learning motivation towards student learning outcomes, but the relationship was weak because the results of the discussion showed a relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes of 0.10 or 10%.

Abstract

This research is to study the competencies of teachers and student achievement. Data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data, with PNS teacher participants in the Makassar City Education and Culture Office, as for the sample of 183 teacher respondents. Analysis of the data used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on the research results obtained positive and significant competence on the performance of high school teachers in Makassar City, while the evaluation of competencies on student achievement has positive and not significant results on the learning achievement of high school students in Makassar City. Intervening variable test results obtained positive and significant assessment competence on student achievement in high school in Makassar through teacher performance, direct competency complaints against student learning achievement when teacher performance is significant on student learning achievement.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this research is to know and analyze the influence of leadership style on employee performance. and to know and analyze the influence of leadership style on employee performance. The population in this study is the employees of the District Office Gilireng Wajo Regency amounting to 42 people. In the sample study, the authors used questionnaires from the population is all employees of District office Gilireng Wajo Regency amounting to 42 people. This study was conducted on the entire population, because the number of employees in the office is relatively small in number of as many as 42 employees. Based on the results of research shows leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance and gives a low effect on employee performance. Leadership style effect on employee performance At Gilireng District Office. That is, that to achieve more effective employee performance based on organizational goals and expectations then the leadership must pay attention to a good leadership style in order to improve skills and technical skills based on the function and task of an employee.

Abstract

This research is a form of research that uses quatitative, data collection techniques carried out in this study are questionnaires to students for their perceptions in seering the commination style and skills of English teacher in the learning process, this includes limits only on students within the scope of the school and direct interview process, the sample of this study was taken 60 level X-ADM and X-AP people from 115 level X people (ADM, AP, and EA). From the results of research and discussion conducted obtained communication style (X1) and language skills (X2) have a significant effect jointly on the climate of the school organization in Hasanuddin. Flight vocation school Makassar because communication style and language skills can produce a climate of school organization that are skills and able to produce students are skilled and prosicient in English in accordance with the ideals of the school in producing alumni who are ready to use in the world of work.

Abstract

In general, leadership is an activity that motivate others to do something. It is clearly stated that leadership is more than just to ‘motivate’. It deals with some one’s ability to lead, and influence others individually or groups to what the leader wants in order to achieve a desired goal (s). Leadership is important in an organization, include education. Principal’s leadership most likely influences the success or failure of the schools. A principal has a big responsibility toward his school management as a whole, such as educational program teaching and learning, administration, guiding the staff, using and maintaining school’s infrastructures. Besides, the principal has to optimize his role and educational functions, i.e. leader, motivator, educator, supervisor, administrator, innovator, manager. Those responsibilities can be carried out well if the principal has qualities that makes him a great leader as a leader.

Abstract

This paper discusses the transparency of human potentiality through the process of education so actualized in life. As we know that human beings are creatures of Allah that have advantages over other creatures. These advantages because humans have some potential that is not owned by a creature other than humans. These potentials can be actualized in life through the educational process. And the definition of education here is general not only formal and non formal education but lifelong education that applies both in the family, school, and community because the learning process to achieve goodness is valid forever in accordance with Islamic teachings that encourage to seek knowledge ranging from cradle to the grave.

Abstract

AbstrakThe competition between companies or institutions today requires companies or institutions to be able to survive and compete with other companies. One of the things that can be taken by the company to be able to survive in intense competition is human resources. The role of human resources in the company is very important because the main driver of all activities the company in achieving its goals both to gain profits and to maintain the survival of the company are humans. The success or failure of a company in maintaining the existence of the company starts from the human effort itself in maximizing effectiveness and efficiency. In other words, the performance of an organization or company is highly influenced and even depends on the quality and competitive ability of its human resources. The purpose of the company in standardizing or benchmarking so that human resources or labor obtained can really work in accordance with what is desired by the company.

Abstract

School management with a strategic design is considered as successful if it is able to raise the quality of the processes and products of quality education and learning. Therefore the ability of the principal, school personnel and others who can implement a strategy in a school is very important, in relation to the ability of the principal as a leader and teacher as a professional who is responsible for the progress of students. The principal is required to have the ability to manage and formulate the development of the vision, mission and goals of the school and identify school programs that can support the learning process which includes curriculum, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, providing guidance for educators, and dynamic active participation from parents, including institutions / institutions that have concern for education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the efforts of the principal in improving the quality of education. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects in this study were principals while the research informants were TU teachers and staff. Data collected in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation. Analyzed using data in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the principals' research in improving the quality of education in SMAIT Mentari Ilmu through (1) Efforts are made to conduct routine programs in the form of habituation programs and flagship programs; (2) the implementation of the principal in the form of discipline, regular meetings, and rewarding; (3) overcoming consistent obstacles and implementing a determined policy, the solution is to improve the quality, innovate and support the skills of the learners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran kompetensi manajerial, kompetensi profesional dan pengelolaan laboratorium SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Luwu Timur. (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi manajerial dan kompetensi profesional terhadap pengelolaan laboratorium SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex-Postfacto. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang kepala laboratorium fisika SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket. Hasil penelitian deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial, kompetensi professional dan pengelolaan laboratorium SMA Negeri se- Kabupaten Luwu Timur berada pada kategori rendah. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil analisis uji serentak didapatkan nilai R (korelasi) sebesar 0,39 dimana angka tersebut pada tabel korelasi berada pada kategori lemah sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi manajerial dan kompetensi profesional terhadap pengelolaan laboratorium SMA Negeri se- Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu dapat disajikan sebagai bahan evaluasi bagi pemerintah untuk menentukan tindak lanjut dalam peningkatan kompetensi kepala laboratorium fisika misalkan melakukan pelatihan kepala laboratorium, menjadi evaluasi bagi pihak sekolah dalam melakukan perekrutan tenaga laboratorium sesuai dengan bidang yang ditekuni. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan rujukan atau perbandingan bagi orang yang akan melakukan penelitian mengenai kompetensi kepala laboratorium.
