Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out how the leadership and respect of principals at Aroeppala Makassar Elementary School, how the teacher's performance at Aroeppala Makassar Elementary School, and how much influence the principal's leadership and appreciation has on the performance of teachers at Aroeppala Makassar Elementary School. This research is a quantitative study with an ex post facto type of research. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the headmaster's award and leadership are in the high category based on a total score of 52-70 (high category), the performance of teachers at Makassar Aroeppala Elementary School is in the high category based on a total score of 52-70 (high category); and the principal's appreciation and leadership has a positive effect on the performance of teachers in Makassar's Aroeppala Elementary School with a contribution of 61%.

Abstract

Supervision as a part of management education is often assumed to be an inspection, reprimanding, and patronizing teachers. Professional supervision will lead teachers to become professional teachers. Professional teachers are expected to realize the goal of Indonesian people as can be seen in educational regulation of Indonesia. There are two problems in this paper, namely: 1) What is meant by the managerial supervision of the teaching profession in the office? 2) Why do teachers need managerial supervision? Managerial supervision places more emphasis on supervision to improve school administration. Managerial supervision of teacers office is supervision controling by school supervisor to teachers to arrange their duties. Managerial supervision is needed to reach the goals, objectives and supervision techniques as well as the steps that need attention from the supervisor.

Abstract

Curriculum management is a system of curriculum management that is cooperative, comprehensive, systemic, and systematic in order to realize the achievement of curriculum objectives. A good curriculum is a curriculum that follows the development of science and technology based on society.The management of a curriculum determines success and failure in education. Therefore, the responsibility of educational institutions and all education stakeholders should have the same vision in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating a curriculum.

Abstract

Abstract:To achieve the objectives of learning in the classroom many things are needed, because the process is a complex phenomenon. One of the influences is the educator's understanding of the existence of students. Educators must know the views of various streams of education about students. This paper focuseses on nativism, empiricism, and convergence in understanding students. The flow of nativism holds that the development of students is determined from birth. This stream believes that human development is determined by its defenders. Environmental factors have less influence on children's education and development. Therefore, the results of education are determined by birth-born talent. The flow of empiricism assumes that children born into the world are like white paper. White paper will have patterns and writing that are scratched by the environment. Educators as external factors play a very important role, because educators provide an educational environment for children, and children will receive education as experience. This experience will shape the behavior, attitudes, and character of the child based on the educational goals.

Abstract

This study discusses about the teachers performance in optimizing learning in the Full Day school program at SMAN 22 Makassar. This research was qualitative research.  Data collection methods obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, verifying data, and validating data (triangulation). The result of the research showed that; the first was the teacher performance at SMAN 22 Makassar has improved such as planning, implementation and evaluation. The second was Full Day school at SMAN 22 Makassar about school schedules based on school rules. The third was Effective efforts to optimize learning are carried out by teachers and schools. The teacherteach the learning to the students, gave some motivation and learning methods. The school helps teachers by school rules, teaching and learning process (PBM picket) and controlled by hand master in the school.

Abstract

Investment plan undertaken by PT. Taspi TRD COY is an appropriate decision to improve its business. This policy is taken to compensate and meet consumer demand as well as to increase revenue. Based on the calculation of the analytical method used in assessing the feasibility of investment to be conducted by PT. Taspi TRD COY turned out to show the results of a positive calculation and declared eligible for immediate realized because it is considered to provide benefits for the company. Analysis of investment feasibility at PT. Taspi TRD COY can be used as a basis in assessing any proposed investment proposals. Result of calculation from Net Present Value method show positive result that is equal to Rp 676.859.406,8, -, or in other words fund equal to Rp 3,600,000,000, - can generate present value of cash flow equal to Rp 4,276,859,407, - which means this investment deserves to be accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the description of the work climate at Madrasah Aliyah in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency; 2) find out the reality of teachers’ performance at Madrasah Aliyah in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency; 3) determine the effect of the work climate on teachers’ performance at Madrasah Aliyah in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is an ex post facto research as part of quantitative research. Respondents in this study were 75 teachers taken as a whole at Madrasah Aliyah in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. Data collection techniques used are the scale of work climate, the scale of teachers’ performance and documentation, while the data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis. Indicators of work climate tested for their effect on teacher performance include: trust in subordinates; openness in communicating environmental conditions; leadership that helps and appreciates; joint problem solving; teacher autonomy; kinship; being indifferent; authoritarian leadership; and low employee morale. While the indicators tested on teacher performance include: planning of learning activities programs, implementing learning activities and evaluating / evaluating learning. The results of this study indicate that the work climate has a positive effect on teachers’ performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.382. Thus, the magnitude of the influence of the work climate on teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency is 38.2% and 61.8% is determined by other factors.

Abstract

This article aims to describe: (1) Student research trends in terms of themes, fields of study, and methodology; (2) Suitability between research and the student's field of science; and (3) The basis for determining the field of research of students of the Master of Islamic Education Management Study Program at UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research is quantitative descriptive. The samples were determined based on the purposive sampling technique, namely students who had completed their studies were 85 people. The data techniques used were documentation and interviews. Then the results were analyzed through descriptive statistics and supported by interview results. The results showed that: (1) Student research trends, including: (a) tended to be on the theme of schools, madrasah and boarding school; (b) tends to organizational behavior, SBM, and leadership; (c) tends to use a qualitative approach; (2) Students have adjusted their research studies to the field of educational management; and (3) The basis for determining the student's field of study is motivated by its suitability with the field of work, experience in lectures and the work environment, as well as that of a general nature.

Abstract

The aims of children education in Al-Qur’an is a process of guiding from the tutor (parents or teachers) persistenty towards the physical, spritial, ad intelligence’s children development to the formation of the good moslems. There are ten basic principles of children education need to be understood by all of the tutors in teaching based on Al-Qur’an perspective, namely: accepting the children in the way they are, as a child is a trust, educate the children according to capability, reminds that the main purpose of educating the children is in order to be liberated them from the Fire. The parents are required to strive but Allah SWT remains control the result. The parents are also required to be a good model for the children, to give the best advice, to educate not only their physical but also their spiritual, to educate the children according to their natural tendencies and do not stop it until apart. Allah SWT creates human and give a proper guidance in Al-Qur’an about the way to educate. If every tutors take Al-Qur’an as their guidance in educating the children, then they will bear the best intelligent generation with a good behavior and having a good social capacity based on the sincerely dedication to Allah SWT.

Abstract

Abstract: In this study uses techniques for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) combined within formation Entropy weight to examine the performance of 5 best students. Calculations in teaching and research and improvement ability reveal the short-term and long-term performance. Exact values and intervals characterize the attribute values in the current model. A comparison and experimental analysis show the applicability, feasibility, effectiveness, and advantages of the proposed method. In this study focus on the TOPSIS and Entropy to calculate the student's performance. First, in this study the rationality of TOPSIS conferring to the standard decision theory. It forms that TOPSIS also has a built-in multi-attribute value meaning that not revealed explicitly. To this point, this has been a unknown feature of TOPSIS. Second, Entropy applied for the decision maker's (DM) behavioral propensity into TOPSIS. Finally, to advance evaluation accuracy of student performance, TOPSIS and Entropy applied to ranking the student with several criteria such as Presence (C1), Assignment (C2), Attitude (C3), Midterm-Exam (C4), and Final Exam (C5).
