Abstract

This research is motivated by the many needs in the use of electric motors. Electric motors with DC voltages that are often used today are less effective and efficient because of the use of brushes that will run out when used. To overcome the weaknesses of this DC motor, then used Brushless Direct current Motor (MASTS). MASTS is a three phase AC motor. In a fixed application, a three phase AC voltage source can be used directly. In a mobile application, it takes an AC voltage sourced from a DC voltage. For this reason, an inverter is designed to convert DC voltage into three phase AC. The method in controlling MASTS is a six-step inverter that is changing the DC voltage to AC voltage in the form of a box or trapezoid. This inverter uses MOSFET IRF3205 and Arduino microcontroller. To find out the performance of the inverter, MOSFET driver voltage measurements, measurement of the output current, and measurement of the resulting MASTS speed. From the measurement results, when the voltage is increased the current in the circuit and the speed of the MASTS will increase. Keywords: Inverter, MASTS, Phase, Six-Step.

Abstract

The pusposes of research to find out learning result using cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL), specially on Basic electricity and electronics Subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Sumbar. This is probably because in the learning process students are less active and less participate in teaching. This research is a quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. Experimental I class used cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and Experimental II class used scientific approach learning model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). The results of study have shown that average of the experimental I class test result is 83,13 while the Experimental II class has provided the average outcome of  78,29. However, this learning shows that there is a significant effect of student’s learning outcome between the usage of cooperative learning model of typeNumbered Heads Together (NHT)rather than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL)on Basic electricity and electronics subject. The hypothesis test(t-test) shows that tc> tt( 2.12 > 2.05). Therefore,applying cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is more effective than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL) .Keywords: Numbered Heads Together, Problem Based Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The Student in a collage  who have finish their study  will  get  an academic document as a legal proof. The academic document it could be like an academic certificate, academic transcript, or teaching certificates. The document can be use for a complement if the alumnus want to get a job or continue the study to the higher level in a duplicate document that has a signature and stamp from the competent people. To get an endorsement of document in Engineering Faculty of Universitas Negeri Padang is still through the manual process and not computerized yet. Certainty about when the process has finish is not yet, because there isn’t system that provides information about i yet.  Storage of data relating to the management all of process is still in the form of archives and files is stored or held by Administration Employee. Therefore, designed a system that can manage all of process  that can give ease for all users. The application design of the web-based information system done using the programming language PHP (Hypertext preprocessing) and the MySQL database as well as the division level access use a username and password. A method of password encryption Message Digest 5 (MD-5) and session web system are use to provide security to the data and  information.  This  information system give  provide  services  in  an  order, payment confirmation, check the status, managing bookings and payments that can be accessed by online system. Additionally, data storage has been using a database that can be accessed easily by users. Keywords        : Information systems, web, PHP, MySQL, MD-5 and session.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam artikel ini berkaitan dengan perancangan sistem e-tracer study alumni di SMA PGRI 1 Padang. Interaksi yang lemah antar pengguna sering terjadi kendala-kendala dalam pengelolaan manajemen data dan pengisian kuisioner yang masih menggunakan media kertas, sehingga terjadi penumpukan file serta pengaksesan yang lambat diakibatkan penyimpanan yang sembarangan. Dengan adanya sistem ini bertujuan membantu memperkuat interaksi pengguna, memudahkan pengisian kuisioner dan mengelola data alumni menjadi lebih sistematis yang akan memudahkan menemukan file. Sistem ini didisain menggunakan metode waterfall dan arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC). Sistem ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Database Management system (DBMS) MySQL. Dengan demikian sistem e-tracer study menghasilkan sistem yang berjalan pada browser dan mendukung ke semua perangkat serta menyediakan fitur autocomplete untuk memudahkan user. Sehingga, pelayanan pengelolaan data menjadi lebih optimal, efisien, dan sistematis.Kata kunci : Sistem E-Tracer Study, Kuisioner, Yii2 Framework, Mobile Web The issues raised in this article related to the design of alumni e-tracer study system at SMA PGRI 1 Padang. The weak interaction beetwen users often occurs obtacles in the management of  data management  and  filiing out questinnaires that still use paper as the media, resulting in a  buildup of files and slow access due to careless storage.  The exstence of this system aims to help strengthen user interaction, facilitate the  filing out quistinnaire and manage alumni data more systemaric, which  will finding file . This system is desaign using the Waterfall method and Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. This system is designd using the MySQL Database ManagementSystem (DBMS).thus the e-tracer study system produces asystem that runs on the  browser and support all devices and provide an autocomplete feature to facilitate the user. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the contribution of Currency Mastery Training Productive and Interests Students Against Success Industrial Work Practice Program Audio and Video Engineering (TAV) Class XI in SMK Negeri 5 Padang.  This study is correlational description. The technique of sample selection in this study using simple random sampling of 39 respondents in SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Technique of collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. The data were analyzed using statistical methods of multiple regression analysis. The results of data analysis showed: 1) mastery currency productive training and interests of students together contribute significantly to the success of industry work practices outcomes of 61.5%, 2) mastery currency productive training contribute significantly to the success of industry work practices class outcomes of 47.5% and 3) student interest contributes significantly to the success of industry work practices outcomes of 57%. Key Word : Mastery Training Productive Currency, Interest Student, Success Industrial Work Practices.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the level of success of students in participating in Graphic Design subjects that are still low under the value of the determination determined by the State Vocational School 1 Cot Girek. The minimum completeness criteria set by the school for Graphic Design subjects is 78. In reality in the field students who get <78 as much as 61.54% while those who get a value of ≥ 78 as much as 38.46%. The classification of achievement questionnaires for learning motivation variables was obtained as much as 78.32% which can be classified into classifications that have a strong category, classification of achievement questionnaires for learning environment variables obtained as much as 50.71% which can be classified into classifications which have sufficient categories, while for achievement classification questionnaire variable learning outcomes obtained as much as 81.14% which can be classified into classifications that have a strong category. The results of data analysis in this study are: The first hypothesis, tested based on regression tests simultaneously (together) using the F-Test. The second and third hypotheses were tested based on regression tests partially using the T-Test. Keywords: Contributions to learning motivation, contribution to the learning environment, learning outcomes.

Abstract

English is the language most widely used in the world. English is the most popular in the world while the language most widely adopted as the official language in several countries and international organizations. There are 53 countries and 10 international organizations that use English as the official language. In addition, almost all countries in the world would adopt English as a second language after their own national language. In the working world, some companies generally use TOEIC to help find qualified employees to speak English. TOEIC is a test used to measure a person's ability to speak English. In TOEIC, there is a series of tests to be done. TOEIC score itself is widely used for the requirements for the company. For example, PT Pertamina (Persero).The course fee and cost Toeic tests are relatively expensive to make the most of those who need to learn self-taught TOEIC score and perform simulation before following Toeic test. But the self-taught through books deemed less effective, uninteresting, monotonous, boring and can not be used in dark places. And applications for free circulation in the Play Store app is paid mostly.Applications will Toeic authors designed using the Java programming language and Eclipse as editor, and is a free application that can be used offline. The TOEIC app provides four main menu tips and tricks, Toeic simulation, solution, and about. On the menu Tips and Tricks provides ways TOEIC do the problems easily. On the menu Toeic simulation contains questions TOEIC. On the menu solution contains a discussion of the TOEIC simulation has been done so that the user can understand TOEIC matter of discussion given. Abstract

This research is purposed to reveal the contribution ofexperience prakerin and vocational competence on industry 'sreadiness to enter the workforce students of computertechniques and network proram class XII in SMK N 2 PadangPanjang. This research is a descriptive correlational . The studypopulation numbered 100 people and sample totaled 50students of class XII computer techniques and networkprogram in SMK N 2 Padang Panjang Academic Year2012/2013 . Technique of random sampling (Simple randomsampling). Data collection using questionnaires anddocumentation. Data were analyzed using Pearson productmoment correlation and multiple correlation for analysis . Theresults of data analysis showed : 1) experience prakerin tocontribute 22.15 % of the student readiness to eter theworkface industry, 2) vocational competence contributed 22.98% to the readiness to eter the workface industry , 3 ) How toexperience prakerin and vocational competence jointlycontributed 34.94 % of industry 's readiness to enter theworkforce students of computer techniques and networkproram class XII in SMK N 2 Padang Panjang. The results ofthis study indicate that the experience prakerin and vocationalcompetence contribute to readiness to enter the workfaceindustry.

Abstract

Learning media is something that is used to stimulate the mind, attention and appetite of students so that it can encourage the learning process of students. Learning media applications are made based on mobile with the aim to make it easier for students to learn the material and make it easier for students to learn wherever and whenever, especially on computer system lessons. The software used in making this learning media application is Android Studio as a tool and Adobe Photoshop as a design. This learning media application is very helpful for students who miss lessons or forget about old lessons. With the development of current technology, the learning process has begun to shift from a manual process to a more sophisticated process that is using learning media applications. The method in making this application uses the waterfall method. This waterfall method is a sequential design process, often used in software development processes, such as the water process that plunges down through the Conception, Initiation, Analysis, Design, Construction, Testing, Production / Implementation, and maintenance phases. From the problems and methods produced a learning media application to facilitate students in understanding the material. This application is expected to be a learning medium and can be useful for teachers, students and advanced researchers.Keywords: Learning media, Computer Systems, Applications, Android Studio, Waterfall
