Abstract

The learning method in computer engineering and network at SMK N 5 Padang apply the direct learning method that have appreciation character and apply the speech method which is appropriate with the lesson,however, the student doesn’t have great motivation to follow the lesson and the lesson result is still under school grades standard.Because of that, it needs a learning model to make the student more active along with the increase of motivation and the student learning result in learning process. Based on the indication above, it conclude that the research question in this thesis is Is there any positive influence and significant toward the student learning result by using TPS method.The hypothesis of this research is there is the influence of TPS method toward the student learning result.This research uses the experiment phenomenological to see the influence of the student learning result by using TPS method and speech method.The population of the research is the student in first grade at SMKN 5 Padang 2013/2014 and the determining sample method is the purposive sampling with the result that the sample is the 1TKJ1A class by using speech method as the control class and 1TKJ1B by using TPS method as experiment group.Based on the research result, it seen that there is a comparison between the effect of stdent learning result experiment class and control class with 49,29% by using TPS method and 33,33% by using speech method.From the hypothesis test it is got that t count value is outside of Ho acceptance.It is mean that in the real situation the research shows that there is an influence of learning result and it is significant between  TPS method and speech method in the lan network set installation lesson grade 1at SMK N 5 Padang. Abstract

The research was conducted by analyzing the optical fiber attenuation of the DWDM performance in terms of power received on optical fiber communication systems link Padang-Lubuk cone in PT. Telkom Padang. Optical fiber has a very small damping. Therefore optical fibers become the primary choice in telecommunications networks. To improve the transmission quality is better then the use of DWDM technology, DWDM technology is a method to insert a number of channels were transmitted in a single optical fiber. Instruments in this study is the Power Meter and OTDR JDSU MTS-2000 type, the type of cable used G.655 Single Mode type. Link Power Budget method is used to determine the performance of DWDM caused by attenuation based on the value of the received power output receiver. On the link Padang - Lubuk cone highest attenuation occurs in core 1 of 29.742dB with 100.035 km cable lengths, and the core 10 of 31.8 dB with 119.998 km cablelengths. Based on the large fault or attenuation/km core 1 of 0.297 dB/km, the core 10 of 0.265 dB/km and the standard ITU-T was 0.35 dB/km. Value attenuation/km core 1 and core 10 is still in normal conditions and under standard ITU-T 0.35 dB/km. Based on optical fiber attenuation, the results of analysis of the link power budget is the value of Rx is smaller than the value of Rx sensitivity of -27 dBm, it can be said performance DWDM optical fiber communication systems in normal and can be used to operate because the power output can still be accepted by receiver in the device. Keywords:optical fiber cable, optical fiber attenuation, DWDM, link power budget.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model with the Two Stay Two Stray type on the learning outcomes of the XI Grade Automatic Control System Expertise in the Engineering and Air Conditioning Technique Program at SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman. This type of research is an experiment in the form of Time Series Design that is used in class XI TPTU A with two learning models namely, Jigsaw model and Two Stay Two Stray model. The results showed the average value of the Jigsaw model was 81.67 and the average value of the Two Stay Two Stray model was 76.46. Obtained t test results with significance 0.05 which obtained tcount> t table (3,568> 2,013) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it can be concluded that there is a difference between the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model with the Two Stay Two Stray type on the learning outcomes of the XI Grade Automatic Control System Expertise in the Engineering and Air Conditioning Technique Program at SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman. Keywords: Comparison, Jigsaw, Two Stay Two Stray, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research was focusing on the low of student’s learning outcome, specially on Basic Electronics subject at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh. The subjective is to reveal the effect of applying Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model to the subject. By using Quasi experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the model was enducted in experiment class. A control class where Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was measured by structured  test (Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t>t0 (2,48 > 2.01). This proves that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) with Scientific approach of Problem Based Learning type in subjects of Basic Electronics Technique class X Audio Technique Video at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh.Keywords : Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD, Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model,  learning outcomes, learning model.

Abstract

The Development of Management Information Systems of Final Assignment (TA)/ Final Project (PA)/ Thesis (Skripsi)  at the Department of Electronics Engineering FT UNP aims to assist the management of TA / PA / Skripsi and provides a web-based database for TA / PA / Skripsi that already list into the Department of Electronics Engineering . During this time , the management of TA / PA / Skripsi carried out manually using a computer and can not be accessed online by the stakeholders . This system is designed to facilitate the selection of titles by KaProdi and Penasehat Akademik , guidance between lecturers and students , besides helping in the administration documentation TA / PA / Skripsi . This information system using the PHP programming language and MySQL database . This final project discusses the design method Context Diagram , DFD and ERD . Abstract

Activities in both government and private agencies require data and information, one of which is archived. Archive is an important factor that supports the smooth running of activities in the agency. The archive information system is created efficiently and effectively with a mobile application based that aims to help users manage archives. In making this information system, Android Studio assistance software is used as a software maker program and Corel Draw as an application design maker. The method used in this application is the waterfall method. The waterfall method is a sequential design process that is often used in software development, the process continues to flow downward like a waterfall through several stages namely system requirements analysis, system design, coding and finally testing. From these problems and methods produced an archive information system that aims to facilitate its users in managing records.Keywords: Information system, Archive, Android Studio, Waterfall

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the difference of learning outcomes by using Student Facilitator and Explaining model and direct learning model on Digital Simulation subject at class X TKJ SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang. The problem in this study was the student learning result which were still under KKM on Digital Simulation subjects at SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang. Type of this research was Quasi Experiment. The sample was taken through Probability Sampling technique. The research samples were class X TKJ A  and class X TKJ B. Class X TKJ A as sample for experiment class using Student Facilitator and Explaining  model and class X TKJ B as sample for control class using direct learning model. Data analyzed based on post-test experiment class and control class, then analyzed for normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class, the research results obtained an average of 82.47, while the control class was averaged of 76.94. Result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 found tcount> ttable that is 1,78> 1,699, because tcount was bigger than ttable, so null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It can be concluded at the real level that this study showed that Student Facilitator and Explainingmodel gave significant effect on students learning results of Digital Simulation at class X TKJ in SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang. Therefore, the Student Facilitator and Explaining model is better than the direct learning model.Keywords: Student Facilitator and Explaining Model,Direct Learning Model, Learning outcomes, Experiment Class, Control Class.

Abstract

One of the success of an organization of educators in implementing the learning is how educators attempt to deliver the message , and information theory to the students to understand the lessons and information more quickly and make the lessons more interesting and easier to understand, then educators need to create an exciting learning media such as media learning 3D animation ( three- dimensional ) . The purpose of this thesis is to design and build 3D animated instructional media on subjects Installing PC on Skills Program Computer Engineering and Networks . 3D animation creation using real-time , with the Pre-Production stages that include a search of ideas and materials will be made in 3D animation , character design , script, and storyboard creation , later stages of production , including the manufacture of modeling a design object / character , the next stage is the stage of post- production is a compilation of Final Editing and pengecekkan element if an error occurs then the process is repeated . Afterwards, proceed to the next stage of the rendering which will output the video as a whole . In the process of making 3D animsi using Blender 3D application version 2.6.5 . This final project will result in a medium of learning in subjects install the PC in the Program of Computer Engineering and Networks. Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam artikel ini berkaitan dengan perancangan sistem e-tracer study alumni di SMA PGRI 1 Padang. Interaksi yang lemah antar pengguna sering terjadi kendala-kendala dalam pengelolaan manajemen data dan pengisian kuisioner yang masih menggunakan media kertas, sehingga terjadi penumpukan file serta pengaksesan yang lambat diakibatkan penyimpanan yang sembarangan. Dengan adanya sistem ini bertujuan membantu memperkuat interaksi pengguna, memudahkan pengisian kuisioner dan mengelola data alumni menjadi lebih sistematis yang akan memudahkan menemukan file. Sistem ini didisain menggunakan metode waterfall dan arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC). Sistem ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Database Management system (DBMS) MySQL. Dengan demikian sistem e-tracer study menghasilkan sistem yang berjalan pada browser dan mendukung ke semua perangkat serta menyediakan fitur autocomplete untuk memudahkan user. Sehingga, pelayanan pengelolaan data menjadi lebih optimal, efisien, dan sistematis.Kata kunci : Sistem E-Tracer Study, Kuisioner, Yii2 Framework, Mobile Web The issues raised in this article related to the design of alumni e-tracer study system at SMA PGRI 1 Padang. The weak interaction beetwen users often occurs obtacles in the management of  data management  and  filiing out questinnaires that still use paper as the media, resulting in a  buildup of files and slow access due to careless storage.  The exstence of this system aims to help strengthen user interaction, facilitate the  filing out quistinnaire and manage alumni data more systemaric, which  will finding file . This system is desaign using the Waterfall method and Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. This system is designd using the MySQL Database ManagementSystem (DBMS).thus the e-tracer study system produces asystem that runs on the  browser and support all devices and provide an autocomplete feature to facilitate the user.
