Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to design and make a real tool in the form of a drying cabinet for cocoa beans. Because this solution can relieve the farmers who previously drained the cocoa beans in the sun. This drying cabinet uses the Arduiono Uno 328P control and heater element as a heater. This cabinet is also equipped with a DC motor mechanical device to drive the cocoa drying container. This tool is also equipped with a DHT12 sensor which is a resistive sensor whose value changes depending on the water content of the cocoa beans. The sensor plays a role in detecting the temperature and humidity of the seeds in the cacao drying room. Then the output inverting amplifier voltage is read by the ADC Arduino UNO 328p microcontroller, which is then processed and displayed on the LCD. The test results showed that the measuring instrument made was able to measure the amount of water contained in cocoa beans in the range of water content measurement from 60% to 7.5%. Keyword: Cocoa Beans, Temperature, Arduino, DC Motor, DHT Sensor

Abstract

Kompetensi tambahan dan penunjang berguna sebagai kompetensi yang mendukung, mengembangkan, dan menambah kompetensi dasar/keahlian di bidang ilmu keelektroan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data-data yang menegaskan bahwa kompetensi tambahan dan penunjang sangat dibutuhkan dalam dunia kerja.Keterkaitan kurikulum terhadap kompetensi ini sangat intim. Kurikulum yang tidak berjalan lancar membuat lulusan vokasional teknik elektro menjadi gagap terhadap kompetensi tambahan dan penunjang ini.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan instrumen penelitian wawancara terstruktur yang dilakukan kepada alumni, mahasiswa program studi pendidikan teknik elektro serta guru SMK. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan (1) kebutuhan kompetensi bagi alumni kompetensi ini belum terlaksana dengan baik, masih banyak yang perlu dibenahi. Dalam menambah beberapa mata kuliah tambahan. (2) kebutuhan kompetensi bagi Mahasiswa  belum terpenuhi secara umum, banyak nya gangguan dari proses belajar dan pembelajaran yang membuat kompetensi ini belum terpenuhi secara umum. (3) kebutuhan kompetensi bagi guru SMK belum tercapai, dilihat dari beberapa mahasiswa yang PLK ( praktek lapangan kerja ) yang masih banyak gagap teknologi terhadap alat-alat listrik yang menggunakan tenologi tinggi dan kurang menguasai bahasa asing khususnya bahasa inggris. Dalam hal ini, kurikulum PSPTE dapat  mengevaluasi dan memperhatikan kebutuhan dari setiap aspek. Sehingga calon sarjana lebih fleksibel dalam bidang pekerjaan apapun.Kata kunci : curriculum, additional competencies, vocational education in electrical engineering. Additional and supporting competencies are useful as competencies that support, develop, and add to basic competencies / expertise in the field of electronics science. This research was conducted to obtain data that confirms that additional and supporting competencies are needed in the world of work. The relevance of the curriculum to these competencies is very intimate. A curriculum that did not run smoothly made vocational graduates of electrical engineering stutter about these additional and supporting competencies. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method that uses structured interview research instruments conducted for alumni, students of electrical engineering education courses and vocational teachers. From the research results obtained (1) the competency requirements for these competency alumni have not been implemented well, there are still many that need to be addressed. In adding some additional courses. (2) the competency needs of students have not been met in general, there are many disturbances from the learning and learning process that makes these competencies have not been generally met. (3) the competency requirements for vocational teachers have not been reached, as seen from a number of students with PLK (job training) who still have a lot of technology stuttering on electrical equipment that uses high tenology and lacks mastery of foreign languages, especially English. In this case, the PSPTE curriculum can evaluate and consider the needs of every aspect. So that prospective scholars are more flexible in any field of work.Keywords: curriculum, additional competencies, vocational education in electrical engineering.

Abstract

Chanduang’s Religious affairs office (KUA) is an institutionthat provide the service of marriage, reconciliations, and marriage’s consultations for Canduang’s sub district residents. In order to help Religious affairs office in registrations and data processing, an information system is needed to help this registration process can be done everywhere and without attending to the office. Moreover, for wide society, an application to show the information of Marriage’s status is also needed to avoid deception the status of Marriage.An Information System about marriage and marriage status  is designed in web-based with involve language programming HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,Jquery and PHP5 with object oriented-based.  Meanwhile, the data base used is SQL. The design of the system also involves Use Case, Activity Diagram, Context Diagram, Flowchart, Class Diagram, Normalizes and ERD. This system also use the otherwise called in addressing with apply htaccess in the real file address as one of security System.This system information involves three users; Admin, officers andalso bridegrooms. The three levels of users are registered with private account to sign in to the system which has each username and password with MD5 encryption.  The main page of the systemwill show the information of Marriages’registrant and marriage schedule on Chanduang’s Religious affairs office. This system will help the KUA’s officer and also residents in applying marriage datas and show someone’s Marriage status. Key words: Information system, Marriage, Reconciliation, Web Programming

Abstract

This study was discussed about the design of interactive learning media on Computer and Basic Network subject at the first year students. The purpose of this study was developed a valid and practical interactive learning media by using Adobe Director Software on Computer and Basic Network subject at SMKS Mahyal Ulum Al-Aziziyah. This type of study used the IDI model (Instructional Development Institute). The step of this study consists of three steps, namely (1) define, (2) develop, and (3) evaluate. To collect the data, some instruments are used to analyze such as validation questionnaire, and practical questionnaire. The data analysis were used the Aiken's V formula. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the design was produced interactive learning multimedia products by using Adobe Director Software in Computer and Basic Network subjects at the class X TKJ of SMKS Mahyal Ulum Al-Aziziyah. It could be seen based on the Aiken's V coefficient value of 0.78 which is declared valid and practical with an average value of 83.72% after going through the development step which are analyzed based on validity and practicality. Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, Adobe Director, Instructional Development Institute, Aiken’s V.

Abstract

Tourism is one of human needs. By doing tours, humans can momentarily unwind, get tired and relieve stress, and for a moment forget the problems experienced both at home and in the office. Mandeh Tourism Area is one of the most crowded tourist spots for visitors to go to, tourists have to order bots by way of face to face. The desire of customers to get good and fast service makes business people to be able to improve services as much as possible. Applications that are built using CodeIgniter framework, make the system look more neat, organized and high-performance. The programming languages used are HTML and PHP. The system appearance is interesting because it uses bootstrap which is combined with CSS. Applications that are built using the waterfall method. There are several stages that exist in this method, including analysis of system requirements, design interface consists of home page, login page, register page, admin page and the order page is paid. Keywords: Tourism Bot Business, framework codeigniter

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe user’s satisfaction regarding information system applied at SMKN 2 KEC GUGUAK. Appleying EUCS method and its effects on users’ satisfaction of integrated information system are analysed by contribution or determinan factors. By using Survey technique, this study was conducted to 434 users as the population. Respondents or sample were selected by propotional stratified random sampling as many 81 users. However, the study result have shown that content variable, accuracy, format, easy of use,  and timelineness are simultaneously affecting the users’ satisfaction variable and giving contribution significantly of 82,2 %. It means that improving many factors as above will absolutely increase the quality and users’ satisfaction of integrated information system as well.Keywords: End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS), User Satisfaction, Integratet Information System.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the effect of using CD interactive media on learning outcomes. The problem in this research contents is about the low value of the average grade of 75.00 compared with KKM Ocular Measurement Using Electricity Lesson at SMK 1 Lintau Buo. It is influenced by the teaching methods, learning models, and instructional media. Therefore an interactive CD learning media been used as the treatment. This research uses one shot experiment study model as analytical approach. The subject of this research is students of class X TAV SMK 1 Lintau Buo. Data collected by giving a pre - test and post – test, in order to determine the effectiveness of the treatment. Data collection was conducted in four times lessons. The research instrument that had been used is subjective test as much as 20 questions divided into 5 questions for each lesson. Data were analyzed using SPSS 15 computer program. As the result, the average value of pre-test for the whole meeting is 50.95 while the average post-test score of 81.72, with the difference of the two is 30.78. In the percentage calculation, it has gained the result for 60.41 %. It can be concluded that there is a significant improvement in student learning outcomes after getting treatment using Interactive CD as an instructional mediaKeywords : Interactive CD , pre-test , post -test and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the use of interactive learning media based on Macromedia Flash 8.0 on learning outcomes Basic Electricity and Electronics (DLE) Audio Video Engineering class X in SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Researchers use the Quasi Eksperiment Design. The subject of this study consisted of 2 classes, namely class X TAV1 as an experimental class and class X TAV2 as a control class. The sampling technique in this study was conducted by purposive sampling or based on certain considerations. How to retrieve data use posttest at the end of learning after each class is given treatment. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of experimental class students who obtained an average of 81,90 higher while the value of the control class that got an average 70,20. Based on the hypothesis test, the value of tcount 5,879 > ttable 1,677, it can be said that there is a significant effect on the implementation of learning using macromedia flash 8.0. Keywords: Interactive learning media, macromedia flash 8.0, learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of jobsheets on student learning outcomes in the workshop workshops and technical drawing of class X Audio Video Engineering. This type of research is quasi-experimental (quasi experiment). The subjects of this study were students of class X TAV of SMK Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan who in the 2018/2019 school year consisted of 34 students. Data collection in this study using the results of posttest in the form of objective questions as many as 30 items that have been tested for validity, reliability, index of difficulty and power difference questions. Data that has been obtained is analyzed using two different test averages (t test). From the results of the study obtained the value of the experimental class average of 84.94 and the average value of the control class 75.26. With the analysis of t test, it is obtained tcount = 6.131 which is smaller than t table = 2.037 at the significance level of 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that the use of jobsheet has a significant influence on improving student learning outcomes in the workshop workshops and technical models of class X TAV at SMK Negeri 1 Koto XI TarusanKeywords: jobsheet, workshop work and engineering drawings, Improving Learning Outcomes.
