Abstract

Vendors are suppliers of goods or services that help the production process of a company. One ofthe companies that carry out vendor selection is CV Milyarda Cipta Karya which is engaged infashion. Vendor selection is an activity to determine vendors who will work with the company tohelp the production process. Based on an assessment of the 30 most popular CV Milyarda CiptaKarya's products on Shopee, there are consumer complaints about the inconsistent quality ofmaterials. This problem is caused by the absence of standards governing the mechanism forselecting fabric vendors. Therefore, it is necessary to know the priority level of vendor selectioncriteria. Vendor selection criteria are Quality of goods, response time, location, flexibility, price, vendor inventory policy, and vendor service. The data needed in the design are vendor selectioncriteria according to William J Stevenson, namely hierarchical data and criteria weightingquestionnaires. The method used to determine the priority level of vendor selection criteria is theAnalytical Hierarchy Process method. Based on the calculation of the AHP method, the resultsobtained are the criteria for quality of goods 0.19, location 0.12, response time 0.12, vendorinventory policy 0.09, flexibility 0.09, price 0.11, and vendor service 0.28. The largest priority valueis vendor service and the smallest is flexibility.

Abstract

The inventory policy problem is a problem in the inventory system related to how to ensure that eachusage demand can be met at minimal cost. In the healthcare industry, it is imperative that theprocurement and use of stock is not only cost-effective, but also that the required stock is alwaysavailable. Discrepancies between total inventory and usage can lead to damage to BMHP inventoryas the items have expiry dates, as well as excess total inventory costs. The problem of total inventorycosts exceeding the budget occurs because overstock is 83% of the total need, overstock is caused byan excessive number of drug orders purchased. The purpose of this study is to reduce the total cost ofinventory by considering expiry costs, inspection cost, shortage cost, order cost, holding cost usingthe EOQ method. The first stage in this study is to calculate the optimal order quantity value, thenfind the expected number of drug expirations. These results will be used to calculate the total inventorycost of five types of medical materials. for the inspection cost value, if the number of expired medicalmaterials is above 20, the inspection cost value is not equal to zero. The calculation results found thatthe total inventory cost was Rp. 162,904,965, this cost is less than the actual cost of Rp.185,843,346.00 with a difference of 12%.

Abstract

The process of planting corn still uses the traditional method of using wood that is sharpened at theend while holding a bag containing corn seeds, the process of planting corn is carried out by bendingthe body continuously, this process is carried out minimum two workers. This process causesperformance to be not optimal, besides that the work process will accelerate fatigue and cause manycomplaints, pain, and injuries. This study aims to measure anthropometric data of standing shoulderheight, standing elbow height, forearm length, hand width, and hand grip diameter. The results ofthese measurements are then used to design products for these farmers. This measurement alsoincludes a Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire to determine of pain in the corn planting process. The subjects in this study were 30 people, after calculation and data processing, the right size for theproduct design is obtained which consists of a tool height of 140 cm, a handle height of 105 cm, adiameter of grip 5 cm, grip length of 9 cm, an operator distance with a tool of 45 cm, then the toolassembly process and testing process will be carried out.

Abstract

Global human population growth has forced farms to evolve in order to produce more livestockproducts more efficiently while also paying attention to public health, environmental sustainability, and animal welfare. However, problems arise when some diseases appear to affect farm animals andlarge companies providing livestock products dominate the market. It is necessary to develop aplatform or application that can be used to solve these two problems, especially for breeders who havefarms on a small scale. This study aims to outline the process of understanding engineeringrequirements by utilizing the Loucopoulos and Karakostas Requirements Engineering Process Modelmethod, which consists of elicitation of requirements, specification of requirements, as well asvalidation and verification of requirements. The development process is carried out by hiring breedersand potential customers to determine the priority needs of the platform. The results showed that of the25 defined functional needs, there were 22 final functional needs that were validated with valuesabove 50%. The E Farm platform should be further developed based on the defined demands since atotal of 22 validated needs have been determined to be able to represent 88% of the needs required byusers.

Abstract

Nowadays face recognition still being a hot topics to be discussed especially it’s utility for genderclassification. Gender classification is an easy task for human but it’s a challenging task for computersbecause it doesn’t have capability for recognizing human gender without feature extraction. There arestill many researches about facial image feature extraction for gender classification. Geometryfeatures and Texture Features are well perform features for gender classification. This paper willpresents fusion of those feature in order to find an improvement for gender classifications task. Eachfeatures will be extracted using Viola Jones Algorithm and Compass Local Binary Pattern method. Both features will be combined using concatenated method in dataframe format. Viola Jonesalgorithm has an issues when detecting each facial regions so it causes outliers in each geometryfeatures. The proposed method will be evaluated on color FERET dataset that contains facial images.Classification task will be done using Random Forest and Backpropagation. The result is fusionfeatures present an improvement in gender classification using Backpropagation with 87% accuracy. It prove that proposed method perform better than single feature extraction method.

Abstract

Employee performance can go up and down without realizing it because of an understanding of theconcept of performance and concern for the achievement of underperformance. Poor performancedecreases productivity and if left unchecked, employees can be judged as not credible in carrying outtheir work. The Organization has not paid attention to these employee performance issues becausethere is no reporting system that allows employees to track the ups and downs of performance basedon their operations (productivity). The Clockify app as a daily operational tool cannot be used as abenchmark for performance improvement or decrease, so it does not offer any real motivation foremployees to gradually improve. Quantitative data analysis was carried out based on informantinterviews, employee observations of Clockify, and studies of Clockify output documents themselves. This research aims to identify the problem and develop a system to solve it. It is a system tocomplement Clockify's capabilities in visualizing employee performance and preventing continuousdecline due to unconsciousness. Build an employee productivity reporting system using Google AppsScript, Telegram Bot, and Clockify to present productivity reports in a graphical representationinstantly and systematically, helping employees see performance as an increase and decrease andpreventing continuous decline with a productivity analyzer service that calculates employeeproductivity based on a quantity of daily work that can be tracked and accounted for accuracy.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools or pesantrens are places to learn about Islam that are spread throughoutIndonesia. The community empowerment function of pesantren in economic terms still requiresfurther development. One source of the problem is the difficulty in building business units, includingin the fulfilment of production facilities due to lack of capital, so they need support from the society. However, access to information related to the need for production facilities in pesantrens is not wellreached by society. So, the solution that can be offered is to develop waqf application as a liaisonbetween Islamic boarding schools and Indonesian society. The development of this applicationrequires a business model design. This research aims to design the business model of a productionfacilities waqf application named Ruangwakaf using lean canvas. The data needed is secondary datacollected from literature studies. After the data is collected, the next step is designing a businessmodel, and then doing logical verification. To proceed with the validation process, the applicationmock-up is designed, and then is used for the problem and solution validation process. The validationprocess is carried out by interviewing early adopters. The result of this research is a lean canvasbusiness model for the Ruangwakaf application. The unique value proposition offered to pesantren isone step to obtain capital assistance for production facilities and to the society is the easiest step towaqf. The solution provided in this application consists of five main features, those are RwWakaf,RwMart, RwStudy, RwConsult, and RwReport.
