Abstract

Activity based costing process is a process to accurately manage the cost allocation process for aproduct. With the development of technology, the activity-based costing process has been integratedwith the ERP system so that it can relate to all business processes as a whole and can reduce expensesto manage the flow of information systems within the company. It is necessary to determine a fastbusiness process for the allocation of these costs so that a product can be produced. A standardhierarchy is needed which serves as the center of the business process for determining the activitybased costing process. This process is still done manually so that it slows down the businessdetermination process in the activity-based costing process. This research will implement the searchfunction in the ABC system by creating a reporting system that can search business processes in thestandard hierarchy in SAP S/4HANA. This research will use SEEM embed with SDLC method wherethis method pays attention from the perspective of the user and the company to produce an efficientABC process with the company's objectives.

Abstract

One of the early pandemic COVID-19 effects on the educational sector is that learning activities needto be conducted fully online (e-learning). This circumstance can trigger negative emotions thatcontribute to students’ academic performance. This study aimed to find empirical data regarding therelationship of negative emotions and students academic performance in this particular situation. Thestudy was a cross-sectional quantitative method. Questionnaire of negative emotion (DASS-21)Indonesian version was deployed using google form to students of Industrial Engineering andInformation Systems class of 2020 using convenience sampling. 292 questionnaires were returnedand used. Findings: All three negative emotions (depression, anxiety, and stress) were experiencedby students at different levels. Negative emotions had different correlations to academic performance. There were no significant differences between anxiety and depression to students’ academicperformance (anxiety: F (3) = 2.202, ρ = 0.088, depression: F (2) = 1.397, ρ = 0.249). Two-wayANOVA showed that students who experienced mild stress performed better than those with normalstress category (F (1) = 3.933, ρ = 0.048). Female students significantly had better academicperformance compared to male students (ρ (0.001) < α= 0.05)) and that students experienced mildstress, performed better than those with normal stress category. Managing stress at a moderate levelis beneficial and can be done by media or counseling or other catharsis methods. Further study usinglarger samples from non engineering majors and randomized sampling is needed for generalizationas well as identifying factors that contribute to e-learning performance in a special situation.

Abstract

This research was conducted in an enterprise that provides venture capital assistance to its 876 Micro,Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) partners to measure and sort the performance of theirbusiness. The enterprise wished for a business performance calculation system that is more reliableand utilized more than one criterion. In addition, the enterprise also desired to give rewards to MSMEswith the most excel accomplishment, so they need to know which MSMEs are the most developedamong others. This study uses focus group discussions and existing data to obtain the appropriateperformance measurement criteria. The determination of the weight of the importance of eachcriterion was carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method using pairwisecomparison techniques and its consistency is measured using the transitive property and consistencyratio. The proposed method is emphasized on ease of use and delivery to stakeholders but still capableof acquiring the performance calculation. The calculation includes the increase or decrease rate of thebusiness performance for each MSME, and after sorting the rating, the most accomplished MSMEalso can be found. The application of this method also can help the stakeholder to reach consensusswiftly.

Abstract

The epidemic of a new disease caused by the coronavirus (2019-nCoV), commonly referred to asCOVID-19, has been declared a global virus epidemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).President Joko Widodo has officially ratified Presidential Decree No. 99 of 2020 concerning theprovision of vaccines and the implementation of vaccination activities. Twitter is a social mediaplatform that allows users to share information and opinions directly with fellow users. Tweets givencan be in any form, either positively or negatively, so one of the methods used is sentiment analysis.Sentiment analysis helps determine an opinion or comment on an issue, whether the response ispositive or negative. The Naïve Bayes algorithm is used in sentiment analysis because it is suitablefor tweets or text data that is not too long or short text. The initial stage of sentiment analysis is textpre-processing which consists of Cleaning, case folding, tokenizing, and stopword removal. Then thedata is labeled manually. The analysis results are visualized as bar charts, pie charts, and word clouds. Then the word weighting is carried out using the term frequency-inverse document (TF-IDF), andclassification is carried out using the Naïve Bayes classifier. From the test results, the accuracy valueof the confusion matrix is 82% from 2600 tweet data with 80% training data composition and 20%test data.
