Penelitian mengkaji tentang transmisi ideologi politik Islamisme dan Islam washatiyyah dalam penyebaran muballigh di Kota makassar. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pola transmisi Idelogi politik Islamisme dan Islam Wasathiyah oleh para muballigh di Kota Makassar serta memahami apakah transmisi ideology politik Islamisme dan Islam Wasathiyah oleh para muballigh merupakan bagian dari politik keagamaan yang berimplikasi langsung dengan gerakan sosial Islam saat ini. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Framing dalam Teori Gerakan Sosial dan Islamisme serta konsep wasahtiyyah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gerakan Islam akan muncul dengan wajah baru tidak lagi bersifat konvensional. Ruang-ruang public akan menjadi rebutan yang tak terhindarkan termasuk antara IMMIM dan Wahdah Islamiyah. Kedua ormas ini dalam penyebaran gagasan sering berperang opini dengan memaksimalkan semua sumber daya yang dimiliki, seperti media dan pergerakan opini di mimbar-mimbar masjid. Klaim kepemilikan dan binaan jumlah masjid dan majelis Taklim oleh masing-masing ormas ini menjadi indicator bahwa telah terjadi rebutan ruang.

The Qur'an contains many verses relating to divine concepts. The explanation of divinity in the Qur'an is closely related to efforts to provide evidence of the truth of the Prophet's message and the truth of the concept of divinity in Islam. This problem is directly related to the divine concept of the Arab community as the object of conveying the al-Qur'an. The closeness of the concept of divinity to the concepts they understand makes the narrative of the verse have to enter and provide an effective rebuttal as possible. In this context, this study aims to find logical reasoning in every verse related to divinity, so that it makes it easy for Arabs to accept and believe in the concepts contained in Islam. To achieve these objectives, this study uses qualitative methods with the type of literature study research. To refine the data analysis process, this study uses the pragmatic philosophical approach of Charles S. Pierce. This research concludes that the narrative built by the Koran in arousing the divine awareness of the Arab community is logically carried out and fully accepted. The narrative is aimed at exposing their belief in the definition of God by doubting existing beliefs. With this doubt, everyone who realizes that a concept that has been believed to be wrong will conduct direct research and observation of the truth of the concept of divinity in Islam. Identification of icons, indexes, symbols correctly to the essence of God led them to an attitude of acceptance of Islam and all forms of divine concepts in it.

Sufism has developed in the Islamic world since the 2nd century Hijriah. Many of the companions and tabi'in figures were Sufism groups, including Abu Ubaidah Al-Jarrah, Abu Dzar Al-Ghifari, Salman Al-Farisi, Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud, and many more. Initially Sufism emerged as a criticism of various problems that occur in life. Whether it was the aristocratic love of wealth, or the endless debates of religious scholars on trivial matters. So there are some groups who want to stay away from worldly problems to be alone and get closer to Allah SWT. Their initial intentions were good. But over time, with the mixing of cultures, traditions, and thoughts from non-Arab civilizations, the practice of Sufism began to change. No longer running in accordance with Islamic law, and even began to deviate far. The result is a mistaken view of Sufism. So in this paper, the author wants to try to explain the concept of 'modern Sufism' which was initiated by Hamka and to give it a difference from the concept of classical Sufism. With the library research method, the authors found that there was a new principle in the Hamka concept. He no longer thinks that Sufism is away from the world and draws closer to Allah alone, but even as an approach to Allah without leaving the world.

Pancasila dengan sistem pendidikan ditinjau dari filsafat pendidikan, bahwa Pancasila pandangan hidup bangsa yang menjiwai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Karena itu, sistem pendidikan nasional Indonesia wajar apabila dijiwai, didasari, dan mencerminkan identitas Pancasila. Cita dan karsa bangsa Indonesia diusahakan secara melembaga dalam sistem pendidikan nasioanl yang bertumpu dan dijiwai oleh suatu keyakinan, pandangan hidup dan filosofi tertentu. Inilah dasar pikiran mengapa filsafat pendidikan Pancasila merupakan tuntutan nasional dan sistem filsafat pendidikan Pancasila adalah sub sistem dari sistem negara. Pancasila. Dengan memperhatikan fungsi pendidikan dalam membangun potensi bangsa, khususnya dalam melestarikan kebudayaan dan kepribadian bangsa yang ada pada akhirnya menentukan eksistensi dan martabat bangsa, maka sistem pendidikan nasional dan filsafat pendidikan pancasila seyogyanya terbina secara optimal supaya terjamin tegaknya martabat dan kepribadian bangsa. Filsafat pendidikan Pancasila merupakan aspek rohaniah atau spiritual sistem pendidikan nasional, tiada sistem pendidikan nasional tanpa filsafat pendidikan.

Tulisan ini menyajikan hasil penelitian terhadap persepsi kesetaraan jender pada pasangan suami istri di Desa Bonerate Kecamatan Pasimarannu Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar. Eksplorasi dalam tulisan ini dibangun dengan landasan teori-teori jender secara umum dan konsep kesetaraan jender dalam Islam, untuk mengkaji persepsi kesetaraan jender pasangan suami istri di Desa Bonerate, dan implementasi serta dampak dari implementasi perspektif jender tersebut. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan teologis dan fenomenologis. Hasil ekplorasi menunjukkan bahwa pasangan suami istri di Desa Bonerate memandang bahwa laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama mempunyai hak dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Pembagian kerja tidak menjadi tolok ukur kesetaraan bagi masyarakat Desa Bonerate karena hal tersebut merupakan bentuk perwujudan keseimbangan khususnya dalam rumah tangga yang dikenal dengan istilah pohamba-hamba’a (bentuk kerja sama antara laki-laki dan perempuan). Implementasi atau penerapan dari konsep pemahaman terkait gender oleh pasangan suami dan istri di Desa Bonerate dapat dilihat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terutama pada pembagian tugas bagi suami dan istri. Suami mengambil peran instrumental seperti bekerja mencari nafkah dan istri mengambil peran ekspresif berupa pengurusan rumah tangga, pengasuhan anak, dan rutinitas-rutinitas lainnya. Meskipun demikian, pasangan suami istri Desa Bonerate tetap memberikan peluang yang sama kepada anak-anaknya baik laki-laki maupun perempuan terutama dalam bidang pendidikan. Konsep pemahaman tentang gender dan implementasinya oleh pasangan suami istri di Desa Bonerate menimbulkan dampak yang berpengaruh terhadap skema kehidupan suami dan istri di Desa Bonerate, seperti konsekwensi beban ganda yang diemban oleh istri dan ketergantungan istri terhadap suami semakin kuat.

This article discusses the role of the al-Jami' Campus Da'wah Institute (LDK) in shaping the religious understanding of UIN Alauddin Makassar (UINAM) students. The type of research used is qualitative by taking case studies on students of UIN Alauddin Makassar. In collecting data, researchers conducted interviews with several LDK student figures and observed various activities carried out by LDK. The results showed that LDK al-Jami' contributed greatly in increasing the literacy of the Qur'an among UINAM students, especially students from general faculties. LDK even teaches students to pray on time and invites students to follow the sunnahs of the Prophet Muhammad. However, the religious spirit that is close-minded has become an important character for elements of the LDK management which in turn has colored the religious character of students. In other words, the religious nature of exclusivism is more dominant than the spirit of inclusiveness in religion. Their motto is to return to classical traditions and to replicate the romance of the progress and glories of Islam in the past.

This study tries to describe the ways by which the Bugis migrants in Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur, attempt to preserve their Islamic traditions. The implementation of their Islamic traditions covers various activities symbolizing their adherents to both Islam and Bugis culture within a different religious and cultural environment. This study was conducted as descriptive-qualitative research by implementing socio-anthropological approach in order to understand the fundamental reasons lies behind their commitments in maintaining their Islamic traditions as well as their cultural identity as the Bugis. The data of this research were collected mainly through in-depth interview with numbers of the Bugis migrants who have been living and becoming parts of the of Kupang inhabitants. This research shows that all of the Bugis migrants in Kupang have always taken serious efforts to practice their Islamic traditions as the manifestation of their commitments as the Bugis Muslims. The amenability to maintain their Bugis as well as their Islamic traditions have motivated the Bugis migrants in Kupang to practice traditions with regard to important events in Islamic history as well as of individual and family life cycles. These religious-cultural traditions have contributed to enrich the plurality of religious and cultural traditions coloring the heterogeneity of the daily lives of the people of Kupang which in turn can improve the awareness of the importance of mutual understanding among people regardless their religious and cultural differences.

This study discusses the development of globalization, advances in science and technology that have an impact on human life. Ease of transportation, communication and access to education are positive impacts. Meanwhile, the degradation of moral values, namely individualistic, selfish, and competitive attitudes is a negative influence on the development and advancement of science. Moral education and among system education is an ideal educational alternative in facing the development of technology in Indonesia. Moral education according to al-Ghazali, teaches a child to understand the Qur'an and Hadith from an early age. By learning religion from an early age, children are able to strengthen beliefs. The basic character of children who are mature and supported by strong religious beliefs are able to avoid the bad effects of globalization. Meanwhile, among system education according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara is education that fosters mutual respect for fellow human beings. Appreciating and respecting fellow human beings will foster a sense of humanity and humanize humans, thus avoiding individualism, egoism, and competition between individuals.

ABSTRACT This study discusses the relationship between science and religion, from Western thought to Islamic thought. There are four typologies that describe the relationship between science and religion based on the thinking of Ian Gramer Barbour, namely: conflict, independence, dialogue, and integration. In Islamic studies, the Islamization of science was pioneered by Sayyed Hosein Nasr. Islamization of science continues to grow until now and penetrated into Islamic education in Indonesia. This type of research is library research. Primary sources come from books written directly by Ian Gramer Barbour and books on the study of Islamization of Science. This study uses a philosophical approach, which is an approach that is carried out by analyzing the relationship between science and religion from the thoughts of various Western philosophers and Muslim philosophers. The analysis based on the thoughts of philosophers aims to implement scientific theories and methods into the problems of Islamic education in Indonesia. The results of this study are: to describe the relationship between science and religion based on the history of the development of human thought, starting from the Middle Ages, the Islamic Golden Age, and the Modern-Contemporary Age. This study also analyzes the scientific method in Islamic education in Indonesia as an application of the discourse of Islamization of knowledge that has developed from 1977 to the present. This research concludes that there is a dialogue between science and religion in reducing the conflict between dynamic scientific discoveries and dogmatic theological beliefs. The implication of this research is to build awareness of dialogue between science and religion in order to create an attitude of mutual respect and respect between scientists and clergy. Dialogue is needed to compare scientific and technological discoveries with theological beliefs and religious dogmas. Ethics and Fiqh is one aspect that controls and reconciles scientific discoveries with religious dogma.

Abstrak Ta’wil sebagai salah satu ilmu yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman mengenai kata, kalimat dan pesan-pesan Allah yang tercatat dalam kitab suci al-Qur’an merupakan sebuah kajian yang penting dalam khazanah keilmuan Islam. Kebutuhan terhadap ta’wil pada era sekarang ini merupakan keniscayaan. Melihat pesatnya perkembangan dan kemajuan masyarakat yang dihasilkan oleh penelitian-penelitian ilmiah yang tentunya dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Sehingga jika pada kenyataannya sisi lahiriah dari teks-teks keagamaan memiliki pertentangan dengan perkembangan dan kemajuan tersebut, maka tidak ada pilihan kecuali melakukan penakwilan Pengetahuan tentang ta’wil biasanya dikaitkan dengan sosok al-rasikhuna fi al-‘ilm (orang yang mandalam ilmunya dan mantap keimanannya). Bermacam-macam teori yang dirumuskan oleh ulama, baik ulama ilmu kalam, tasawwuf, maupun ulama tafsir tentang al-rasikhuna fi al-‘ilm. Akan tetapi, kebanyakan teori yang dirumuskan terbatas pada boleh tidaknya sosok al-rasikhuna fi al-‘ilm mengetahui ta’wi>l yang terkandung dalam ayat-ayat mutasyabih. Al-‘Allamah al-Tabataba’i dalam bukunya al-Mizan fi Tafsir al-Qur’an menyatakan bahwa tujuan utama penyebutan al-rasikhuna fi al-‘ilm dalam al-Qur’an maupun hadis Nabi Muhammad saw. adalah untuk menggambarkan menggambarkan keteguhan iman, kemuliaan perilaku, kelurusan hati, dan kecerdasan berfikir yang mereka miliki ketika berinteraksi dengan al-Qur’an bukan hanya sebagai dalil tentang pengetahuan mereka terhadap takwil al-Qur’an.
