Abstract

AbstractThis paper aims to convey the development of the effect of the population on the number of poverty in the city of Palembang from 2010 to 2015.There is no accurate calculation made to determine the number of poor people in Indonesia, always with controversy because each calculation uses different criteria.This differentiation is based on its causing factors to allow specific alleviation policy implication. The cause of such poverty, in general, is that the poor people have no capacity and capability to access economic sources. This analysis is done using simple linear regression method, population level (X) and poverty (Y) in Palembang city year 2010 - 2015. From the data, it can be concluded that the variable of Population (X) has negative influence to the variable Number of Poverty (Y) in Palembang City. Simultaneously, the number of population has an effect on the amount of poverty in the city of Palembang by 0,398%, while -14,045% and the rest influenced by the variable outside of studied.Keyword : Poor people, Regression, Causes Of PovertyAbstrakJurnal ini bertujuan menggambarkan pengembangan pengaruh populasi pada jumlah kemiskinan di kota Palembang dari tahun 2010 sampai tahun 2015. Tidak ada penghitungan yang akurat yang telah dibuat untuk menentukan jumlah orang miskin di Indonesia, selalu muncul kontroversi karena setiap penghitungan memiliki kriteria tersendiri. Perbedaan ini didasarkan pada faktor penyebab yang berdampak pada implikasi politik. Penyebab kemisikinan, umumnya adalah bahwa orang-orang miskin tidak memiliki kapasitas untuk memasuki sumber ekonomi. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana, tingkat populasi (X) dan kemiskinan (Y) di kota Palembang tahun 2010-2015. Dari data disimpulkan bahwa variabel jumlah populasi (X) memiliki pengaruh negatif pada variabel jumlah kemiskinan di kota Palembang. Secara simultan, jumlah populasi memiliki pengaruh pada jumlah kemiskinan di kota Palembang yaitu 0,398%, sedangkan -14,045% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel diluar studi ini.Kata kunci : Orang miskin, Regresi, Penyebab Kemiskinan

Abstract

Monte Carlo is a simulation method that using random numbers obtained from Linear Congruential Generator (multiplicative generator) as an approximation in estimating the number of visitors using previous time visitor data. The number of visitors who come to use internet services on internet cafes is often difficult to predict. Apart from some indicators that affect or may be experienced by the cafe owner with the activities of the internet service, it will  predicted the number of visitors using visitor data from 60 days ago with linear method congruential generator as scrambler and monte carlo method as estimator. The results obtained is the estimated number of visitor in uniform distribution [0,1] for the next 60 days that can be used as information for cafe owner.Keywords:Simulasi, Linier Congruential Generator, Monte Carlo, Estimasi, Random Number

Abstract

Strategic planning for information systems is essential to organisational success, especially in times of increasingly rapid change.In order to reach the objective of the university in its vision and mission, it needs business strategy and IS/IT strategy. The basic concept in arranging framework IS/IT strategic planning is John Ward and Joe Peppard’s concept. The framework of IS/IT strategic planning has compiled a few methods of strategic planning. Abstract

AbstractThe availability of electrical energy is a very important aspect and even become a parameter to support the successful development of a region. Proper management of electrical energy resources and directed clearly will make the potential possessed of an area developed and utilized optimally. Population growth and economic development of a region can be influenced by the use of electrical energy. The supply of electricity must be taken into account so that the electrical energy can be available in an amount that suits your needs. Demand for the use of electricity in Indonesia will always increase with economic growth in addition to the development of electrical energy is also influenced by the development of the population in terms of quantity of customers to be electricity. Predicting methods such as using time series method (Gustriansyah, 2017) or data mining methods. The purpose of this research is to know how to overcome the influence of electricity usage (VA) connected with electric energy sold (KWh). Research done by simple linear regression method to facilitate writer in processing data. Based on the calculation result using simple linear regression method can be concluded 99.2% of the variation of electric power connected can be explained by the variable amount of electrical energy sold. While the rest (100% - 99.2% = 0.8%) is explained by other causes. And the level of significance <0.05 so that the regression model can be used to predict the electrical energy sold.Keywords : Linear regression, analysis, electrical energy AbstrakKetersediaan energi listrik merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dan bahkan menjadi suatu parameter untuk mendukung keberhasilan pembangunan suatu daerah. Pengelolaan sumber daya energi listrik yang tepat dan terarah dengan jelas akan menjadikan potensi yang dimiliki suatu wilayah berkembang dan termanfaatkan secara optimal. Pertumbuhan populasi dan perkembangan ekonomi suatu wilayah dapat dipengaruhi penggunaan energi listrik. Penyediaan listrik harus diperhitungkan sehingga energi listrik dapat tersedia dalam jumlah yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Anda. Permintaan untuk penggunaan energi listrik di Indonesia akan selalu meningkat dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi disamping pengembangan energi listrik juga dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan populasi dalam hal kuantitas pelanggan yang akan dialiri listrik. Metode untuk memprediksi seperti menggunakan metode time series (Gustriansyah, 2017) atau metode data mining. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara mengatasi pengaruh penggunaan tenaga listrik (VA) yang terhubung dengan energi listrik yang terjual (KWh). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode regresi linier sederhana agar memudahkan penulis dalam mengolah data. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana dapat disimpulkan sebesar 99,2% dari variasi daya listrik yang terhubung dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel jumlah energi listrik yang terjual. Sedangkan sisanya (100% - 99,2% = 0,8%) dijelaskan oleh penyebab lain. Dan tingkat signifikansi <0,05 sehingga model regresi dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi energi listrik yang terjual.Kata kunci: Regresi linier, analisis, energi listrik

Abstract

Reason one choose a field of study is that we often hear when the students are studying. This can occur because most students choose majors based on the strong influence of the environment, such as a friend or a parent. By the time these students realize that their chosen field of study is not in accordance with the potential of the talent they have, timbulah regrets later on. If a case of choosing this field of study continues, it will affect the learning achievement of the students themselves. Effect of talent with accomplishment is strong. But it was not easy to know one's talent. To find potential talent necessary psychological test and consultation with a psychologist who will not be cheap. Therefore timbulah idea to build an expert system that can detect potential talent that can provide an alternative appropriate field of study based on the potential talents. Detecting potential talent is done by psychometric analysis. Psychometric analysis is used as a tool to determine a person's field of study. Through quantitative analysis will be done the preparation of test item is valid and reliable. The results of the analysis of an expert system, same / approach with the ideas of a specialist / psychologist. The model used to build the expert system is a decision tree model (decesion tree) using algorithms C.4.5. The expert system is implemented through a web-based application. Web-based expert system can be easily accessible, anywhere and anytime, and thus will be more efficient utilization and dissemination. With this application, is expected to help potential mahsiswa in determining the appropriate field of study based on the potential of the talent they have.Key word : Expert systems, Decision tree model, Psychometric analysis, Web applications

Abstract

Zakat is a certain amount of assets that must be issued by a person who is Muslim and given to groups who deserve it (the poor, ibn sabil, fisabilillah and so on). Processing zakat includes implementation, collection and distribution of zakat. Processing Zakat and Infaq in Palembang Grand Mosque has a system for recording and distribution of zakat funds and infaq which still has the disadvantage that the recording system is still using the manual method that allows the loss or corruption of data, the registration process is slow to make the queue is getting and the process of distributing zakat increasingly delayed and slow report generation. Therefore, researchers propose Processing Information Systems Zakat and Infaq that can overcome the problems found in the previous system, enabling the recording, processing and printing of data is done quickly, precisely. Development of systems using the Waterfall method as the flow of system development. By creating a Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Flowchart, Data Dictionary, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Data Normalization, File Specifications, Process Specifications, Chart Structured as a tool in the analysis and design. The programming language used Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2007 as the database. These systems process data muzakki, mustahiq, infaq, operating expenses, zakat fitrah, zakat maal, zakat income, the distribution of zakat, reports. With applicable Zakat Processing Information Systems and Infaq expected to facilitate the processing of zakat and infaq.

Abstract

Sriwijaya State Polytechnic Joint Government and Private Parties have had the scholarship program to students who beprestasi and can not afford. Therefore scholarship should be awarded to eligible recipients and deserve to get it. However, in the selection of the scholarship will certainly experience difficulties because of the large number of scholarship applicants and the criteria used to determine the grantee's decision as expected and acceptance of the scholarship has a maximum limit of quotas. It required a study that aims to take into account all criteria decision support to help accelerate and simplify the decision making process. In the selection of the scholarship recipients to take a little longer and less efficient. Besides it takes a long time in the electoral process and the establishment of scholarships also there are opportunities to make the wrong decisions because the process is subjectivity. Therefore made a decision support system that can perform calculations on all the criteria for the selection of scholarship recipients at State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. The method used in the decision making is the scholarship selection Tsukamoto fuzzy logic method, this method selected because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the alternative meant that students are eligible to receive scholarships based on certain criteria.Keywords: DSS, Fuzzy Logic, Tsukamoto, Scholarships

Abstract

Steganography and cryptography are security method of secret message from third party who curious to see it. Steganography secures the message by hiding it on digital media. While for cryptography, it secures the message by coding it so the message will be understandable only by the message sender and the receiver. In this research, the secret text message shall be encrypted first by using MARS cryptography algorithm, then it’ll be embedded on bitmap extended grayscale image digital media with adaptive steganography method. Adaptive steganography method consisted of three phases: capacity assessment, minimum error replacement (MER) and false contouring. While MARS cryptography algorithm also has three phases: forward mixing, cryptographic core and backward mixing. After being implemented into the program, the resulted stego-images were assessed subjectively by sharing questionnaires, where out of 33 respondents 72% said that before and after embedded, the images don’t have any differences from its brightness, 48% from its noise, and 67% couldn’t choose which one stego-image is. The objective assessment was done by calculating the value of Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and Peak Signal to Noise Rational (PSNR), where out of 8 tested stego-images had low RMSE and the PSNR were above 30dB. From both assessment, it’s concluded that the resulted stego-images had good quality (no changement significantly). Keywords : Cryptography, Steganography, MARS algorithm, adaptive method

Abstract

DNS is made to facilitate users in accessing a website with a domain without having to continually update the files host.txt.DNS was developed in 1983, every user accessing a website using a domain name through a browser, will be routed by the router to a public DNS serverto get a web address in the form of ip address.It takes time for DNS servers to reverse and lookup for translate domain names into ip addresses and vice versa.By creating a local DNS server as a cache,then it can be applied forwarding technique on DNS Server,so the time required to find the web server address of a destination website becomes faster. In addition to minimizing query time by implementing a local DNS server, can also be filtered against a particular domain name even though using a secure protocol like httpsby creating a zone for the web address you want to filter. So the use of the Internet becomes more useful. In this study the software used linux debian 8 as the operating system, and BIND9 as the software that runs the function of DNS Server.Keywords:Forwarding DNS,BIND 9, Debian 8
