Abstract

Abstract. The Theory Of Planned Behavior (TPB)  holds that a person's behavioral intention depends on three factors, namely attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. This study wants to try to find out the effect of theory of planned behavior to green purchase intention by using a sample of 200 male respondents using skin care users who have never used green skin care before. This study uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Amos software. The results of the study concluded that attitude toward behavior, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control has a significant impact to Green purchase intention.  Keywords : green skin care, environmental concern, environmental knowledge

Abstract

In organizational management, employee loyalty is one aspect that must be improved by the organization to ensure the existence and progress of the organization. Some of the factors that can affect loyalty include gratitude, personality and organizational culture. The study aims to describe and analyze gratitude, personality towards employee loyalty both directly and indirectly through organizational culture as a mediating variable. The research sample amounted to 73 employees. Research location at Al Hidayah Donowarih Islamic Education Park Foundation, Karangploso District, Malang Regency. Data analysis method with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the Gratitude, Personality and Organizational Culture variables influence Employee Loyalty. Organizational culture fully mediates personality towards employee loyalty. Advice given to organizations that gratitude is one part of organizational culture. Keywords: Gratitude, Personality, Organizational Culture, Employee Loyalty.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of attitudes, subjective norms, behavioral control on behavioral intention as well as the effect of behavioral intention on whistle-blowing intentions. This research was conducted at all government unit offices in the Municipality of Probolinggo which is called SKPD by using a questionnaire. Survey responses collected from a sample of 65 staffs in the financial section within SKPD represented by the chief financial officer and treasurer. The findings indicate that all of the variables in the TPB, such as attitude, subjective norms and behavioral control has a significant effect on whistle-blowing intentions. The implications of this research provided recommendation and consideration in analyzing the tendencies of whistle-blowing that can be performed by government staff. In general, we view that the implementation of whistleblowing as an internal policy would exhibit organizational support and thus, enhances staffs’ attitude towards whistle-blowing. Keywords: attitude, subjective norms, behavioral control, intention, whistle-blowing intentions, public sector, theory of planned behavior.

Abstract

There is an increased in firm’s awareness of the importance of firm’s liquidity level to avoid financial distress after global crisis in 2008. Liquidity is the company's ability in paying their liabilities due using their liquid asset that owned by firms such as cash and cash equivalent Aim of this study is to test empirically the determinants of corporate cash holdings in Indonesia. A sample of 97 Indonesian manufacturing firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for a period of 6 years (from 2011-2016) was selected. This study used ordinary least square regression research design. The results of this study show that firm size, profitability, dividend payment, capital expenditure, and cash flow have a significant effect to the corporate cash holdings of Indonesian manufacturing firms. This study gives contribution to the literature on the firm characteristic variables that determine the corporate cash holdings on Indonesian manufacturing firms. The results may be useful for decision-making for the financial managers, financial management consultants, and investors.Keywords: Leverage, Firm Size, Profitability, Capital Expenditure, Dividend Payment, Cash Flow, Cash Holding

Abstract

This study aims to determine the composition of the optimal portfolio using a single index model, determine the composition of the random portfolio using naive diversification, then evaluate the performance of the portfolio formed using the Treynor index. This study uses monthly stock closing price data listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the research period of August 2016 to July 2018. The optimal portfolio formed using a single index model consists of 40 shares, while a random portfolio consists of 10 shares. The results of the Treynor portfolio performance evaluation show that the optimal portfolio formed by the single index model method has better portfolio performance than the random portfolio.

Abstract

The number of Instagram users continue to grow from year to year and so parasocial concept does. Parasocial concept itself is getting popular to those who study media. Nowdays, parasocial concept is used a lot more in daily lives by marketeers. Marketeers compete to pick the most influencial person who has the ability to attract others in order to promote special products/brands. This study was aimed at examining the influences of parasocial interaction, parasocial relationship, endorser credibility, and purchase intention of Syahrini’s fans on a make-up product. This research was a quantitative research using online questionnaire. Data were collected through online questionnaire and filled by Syahrini’s fan base on Instagram. The sample of this study used Syahrini’s women fans who never have bought a typical of make-up product (Lakme make-up) before. Later on, respondents were required to watch a short video about Syahrini before they finally filled the online questionnaire. A significant influence between parasocial interaction and parasocial relationship; a significant influence between parasocial relationship and endorser credibility; a significant influence between parasocial relationship and purchase intention; and a non significant influence between endorser credibility and purchase intention. The implication practice of this study is marketeers should choose the most ideal public figure, especially the one who could build such a strong relationship with fans. Also marketeers should be more innovative in creating new ways of communicating between fans and their idols.

Abstract

Kodiklatad Polytechnic is one of the educational institutions in the Kodiklat TNI AD that conducts science and technology education. The education system applied in this institution is a combination of the education system that applies in the Army and the educational system that applies in the higher education environment. The application of the Basic Tri Pattern of Education remains valid and is integrated with the semester credit system that is commonly applicable in universities. The output of this education is that soldiers not only obtain superior attitudes and behaviors, mastery of knowledge and skills that are reliable and soldiers who are willing but also obtain a degree that is recognized by the Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Research and Higher Education. The utilization of teaching staff at the Kodiklatad Polytechnic needs to be professionally managed so that the balance between the needs of the teaching staff and the interests and abilities of the educational institution is realized. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of educators at the Kodiklatad Polytechnic to achieve maximum performance. Abstract

Abstract: The intense competition in the banking industry inIndonesia is currently marked by the development of a largenumber of state-owned and private banks, conventional andsharia, demanding that PT Bank BRISyariah Tbk be able tocompete with other banks in order to survive anddevelop.Banking in general has made improvements in morediverse product and service innovations for consumers. Inthis case the support of marketers is very importantconsidering that marketers are the frontline service in thebanking industry and are also the spearhead of thecompany's success in achieving targeted marketshare.However, for the improvement efforts made by PTBank BRISyariah Tbk, the Diponegoro Surabaya BranchOffice (KC) is inversely proportional to the achievement ofthe PT Bank BRISyariah Tbk financing target of theDiponegoro Surabaya Branch Office (KC) which showedunsatisfactory results. The percentage of achievement of thefinancing target is far from what is stipulated in the BankBusiness Plan every year. The decrease in the percentage ofthis target was accompanied by a decline in customer growthin terms of the amount and volume of financing.This studyuses a quantitative approach, and uses causal analysis whichaims to determine the magnitude of the effect or effect ofindependent variables on changes that occur in thedependent variable. Data collection methods used throughpreliminary surveys, questionnaires and literature. Thepopulation in this study were all marketers who numbered 38from 1 Diponegoro Branch Office (KC) and 6 Sub-BranchOffices. And the population for the performance variable isthe direct leader of each marketer, which consists of 2branch managers and 6 branch managers. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workmotivation, organizational culture on employee performance through jobsatisfaction. type of research is explanatory research, data collectiontechniques are questionnaires. the sample in this study amounted to 37respondents with the sampling technique was census/population sampling,the scale of measurement using a Likert scale. Quantitative analysis usesvalidity test, reliability test, classic assumption and path analysis. Basedon the results of this study indicate that work motivation (X1) andorganizational culture (X2) have a significant effect on performance (Y2)through job satisfaction (Y1). The results of path analysis show the directeffect of work motivation and organizational culture on employeeperformance greater than indirect effects through job satisfaction.Keywords: work motivation, organizational culture, job satisfaction andperformance

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to determine the level of job stress amongproduction employees in a manufacturing company, to measure the level ofemployee performance, and test the effect of work stress of Role Overload,Role Conflict and Role ambiguty on employee performance. Then this studyexamined the role of moderation from social support (from supervisors andcoworkers) about the relationship mentioned above. This research is aquantitative study using a questionnaire. All data were collected through asurvey and filled by 50 production workers in a manufacturing company inSurabaya. The sampling method suitable for this study. PLS method is usedfor statistical data analysis. The results showed a significant negativerelationship between role overload and performance, a non-significantnegative relationship between role conflict and performance, a negativerelationship between role ambiguity and performance. Support fromcoworkers and superiors has a significant moderating effect on roleoverload and role ambiguity.Key word: Role Overload, Role Conflict, Role Ambiguity, Job Performance,Social Support.
