Abstract

Learning media can facilita learning communication between teachers and students, provide valuable learning experiences to students, and increase students' interest in comparing theory and practice. The use of digital media can help make social science content more interesting and easy to understand. Education in the digital era is education where information and communication technology must be included in all subjects, especially in social studies in elementary schools. This research methodology uses System Literature Review (SLR). To Collected articles are only published various articles, the researcher selected From that article keywords used. The articles that were gathered were only published between 2018 and 2023. From the various articles, researchers selected 12 articles that were very relevant to the employed keyword. The results of this research are that the role of digital-based learning media in improving social studies education in elementary schools has a very large impact and is very important for student participation in the learning process. The use of media that is adapted to student characteristics makes the teaching and learning process more interesting and motivates students to love the knowledge they are learning. Another benefit is that using digital learning media makes learning more interesting and stimulates students' curiosity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengemukakan hasil analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap e-modul Fisika Matematika materi persamaan diferensial biasa. Penelitian ini mengambil subjek mahasiswa angkatan 2020 Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Jambi yang berjumlah sebanyak 50 orang mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode campuran (mixed method). Penelitian dengan metode campuran ialah menggabungkan penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data pada penelitian kuantitatif diperoleh dari angket kebutuhan mahasiswa, dan data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil wawancara pada mahasiswa. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dimana hasil yang diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 21,94 menyatakan bahwa e-modul Fisika Matematika ini dibutuhkan. Sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan Miles & Huberman dimana hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa membutuhkan bahan ajar tambahan pada perkuliahan Fisika Matematika. Dengan adanya e-modul ini, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat belajar secara mandiri atau tanpa bimbingan langsung dari dosen.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat melanjutkan studi magister pada lulusan sarjana menjadi permasalahan penelitian ini. Adapun tujuannya untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan persepsi biaya terhadap minat melanjutkan studi magister. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Medan, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa prodi pendidikan bisnis stambuk 2018 dengan sampel sebanyak 53 orang. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah sampel total (total sampling) sebanyak 53 orang mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis secara parsial dan simultan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan persepsi biaya tidak berpengaruh signifikan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap minat melanjutkan studi magister. Kesimpulan menunjukkan terdapat faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini yang berpengaruh terhadap melanjutkan studi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the multicultural values contained in cross-cultural study teaching materials and the form of application of multicultural values in learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research is qualitative research with data sources, namely cross-cultural study textbooks. Data collection techniques in the form of documentation using data recording instruments and attachments. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. The results showed that there are multicultural values in cross-cultural study teaching materials, namely (1) the value of tolerance; (2) the value of unity and integrity; (3) cooperation; (4) solidarity. In addition, a form of application of multicultural values by integrating multicultural values in subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

Mathematics is a universal science that supports the development of modern technology in various fields of science and encourages the development of human thinking. However, many students find mathematics difficult, and this view is often passed down from one generation to the next. Mathematics learning is often closely related to traditional educational processes, which ignore cultural context. Ethnomathematics exists as an approach that utilizes culture in learning mathematics. This research aims to explore the mathematical concepts contained in the typical food, Alame Padangsidimpuan. This research method uses an ethnographic approach by collecting primary data through observation, interviews and documentation, as well as secondary data through literature review. The research results show that Alame Padangsidimpuan contains mathematical concepts such as counting, elements of units, measurement, angles, comparisons, flat shapes, spatial shapes, and social arithmetic. It is hoped that this research can be a valuable reference in developing mathematics learning materials related to local culture, so that students can be more involved and enthusiastic in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This research uses literature review or research methods by collecting source materials and theories with relevant topics. This research has a background on technological and human developments that continue to change with the times so that the right steps are needed to be able to implement and develop the curriculum in the future. One of the nations in Asia with the highest educational standards is Japan, which also has a significant impact on global education. It is believed that by observing Japan's implementation and development of curriculum in high school classrooms, policies and curricula in emerging nations might be inspired by Japan. In this study, the author searched and collected several journals and then drew conclusions after being studied in depth through a detailed way so that there was a good final result and in accordance with what was expected. The study's findings demonstrate how the Japanese curriculum has evolved to attempt and change the attitudes and social conditions of Japanese society. These adjustments also take into account global events. Japan strives to develop quality education by developing the interests of students' talents in order to create a brilliant generation

Abstract

This study aims to identify the learning styles of students in the mathematics education study program at the Soe Education Institute. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which describes and describes in more detail the students' learning styles. The primary data sources in this study were 86 students of the Soe Education Institute's mathematics education study program class 2016-2019. The secondary data source is the student attendance list. Data collection techniques in this study were in the form of learning style questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and documentation. The results showed that the mathematics learning styles of students in the mathematics education study program were different in each class. The mathematics learning styles of the 2016 students of the class of 2016 tend to be evenly distributed across the three learning styles, namely 35% visual, 30% auditory and 35% kinesthetic. The mathematics learning style of students from the 2017 class of 13 people only tends to 2 learning styles, namely 55% visual and 45% auditory. The mathematics learning styles of students from the 2018 batch of 30 people tend to be evenly distributed across the three learning styles, namely 30% visual, 30% auditory and 40% kinesthetic. The mathematics learning style of students from the 2019 batch of 17 people is dominated by visual learning styles of 59%, then 35% auditory and 6% kinesthetic.
