Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the medium piggy bank in getting used to saving children with Down syndrome grade IV in the SLB Kasih Ummi Padang. This study included aexperiment single subject research (SSR)with ABA design and data analysis techniques using graphical visual analysis. Subjects in this study were children with Down syndrome. Thetarget behavioral in this study is that children are accustomed to saving on their own consciousness. Data measured by the frequency in the analysis included the number of observationsconditions baseline  as much as four weeks, the condition of intervention as much as four weeks andconditions baseline both for five minggu.Hasil this study indicate that the media piggy bank saving refraction effective in training students with Down syndrome child is evident from the results of analysis on thecondition baseline secondthat children save every day for three consecutive weeks previously in thecondition of the baseline child does not save at all and in conditions of intervention the child saves every day for four consecutive weeks.

Abstract

This study originated from a case study conducted by the author in SLB Negeri 1 Padang. Researcher found deaf child in the sixth grade who can not read some letters Hijaiyah. In this study the author limit letters of Hijaiyah in ج to ص using Al-Bayan method to improve the ability to read a few letters Hijaiyah for deaf children. This type of research is Single Subject Research (SSR) with ABA design. The data obtained were processed with graphics, so the results can be drawn between the conditions. The result is Al-Bayan method can improve the ability in reading my letters Hijaiyah for deaf children (x).

Abstract

This research is backgrounded by deaf children who are not familiar with the vowels. This study aims to improve the ability to recognize all the vowels correctly and see if the props in power point can be applied to improve the ability to know the vowels. This research uses experimental research in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with AB designs. Subjects were child with hearing impairment X class 1 (one). Target behavior in this study is to know the child's ability to say the vowels and vowel indicates, is a form of assessment given percentage (%). The research was first seen from the baseline condition of the child's early ability in recognizing vowels. After that followed the intervention condition of the state continued to be treated. The data were processed by the graphics. So that the results of this study can be illustrated clearly. Having analyzed the data obtained the following results on the baseline phase the children only know one vowels, the letter [a]. In the intervention phase of learning is done by using media power point the child can recognize all vowels (value up to 100%). It means that learning with the use of media power point can be applied to improve the ability to know the vowels for children with hearing impairment. Researchers suggest that teachers and researchers in order to provide further learning by using media power point to recognize vowels in subsequent learning.

Eis Herlina (2016):               Efektitas Media Jendela Kejutan Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Lambang Bilangan Bagi Anak Tunagrahita Ringan ( Single Subject Research di SLBLumin Alisa kelas III).Skripsi: PLB FIP Universitas Negeri PadangPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di SLB Lumin Alisa Padang,seorang anak Tunagrahita ringanmengalami masalah dalam mengenal lambang bilangan.Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas media jendela kejutan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilanganbagi anak tunagrahita ringan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Single Subject Research, dengan disain A-B-A dan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis visual grafik.Subjek penelitiannya seorang anak tunagrahita ringan kelas III, anak di minta untuk dapat mengenal lambang bilangan 12 sampai 19.Banyak soal yang di berikan dengan 3 instruksi yaitu menunjukkan, membedakan, menuliskan dan setiap instruksi terdiri dari 8 lambang bilangansetiap kali pertemuan, dan pengukuran variabelnya dengan menggunakan persentase %. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media jendela kejutanefektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan bagi anak tunagrahita ringan. Ini di buktikan dengan hasil intervensi (A1) yang dilakukan sebanyak tujuh kali pengamatan, persentase kemampuanmengenal lambang bilangan dalam mengenal lambang bilangan terletak pada rentang 0% sampai 12,5%. Kedua, intervensi (B) dengan menggunakan media jendela kejutanpengamatan dilakukan sebanyak sepuluh kali, persentase kemampuan mengenal lambang bilanganterletak  pada rentang 29,16%, sampai91,66%.Baseline setelah tidak lagi menggunakan media jendela kejutan(A2) dilakukan sebanyak lima kali pengamatan, didapat hasil kemampuan anak dalam mengenal lambang bilangan terletak pada rentang 87,5%, sampai 91,66%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan media jendela kejutan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan.Peneliti menyarankan kepada guru untuk menggunakan media jendela kejutan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bilangan bagi anak tunagrahita ringan.Kata kunci: Mengenal lambang bilangan, anak tunagrahita ringan, media jendela kejutan.

Abstract

Abstrak Background problem in this study is the low reading ability of children in the beginning. Researchers provide intervention using graphic media. The purpose of this study is to prove the effectiveness of graphic media can improve a child's ability to read the beginning of the X-type learning disabilities research is quantitative with the experimental method in the form of Single Subject Design (SSD), the multiple baseline design cross variables. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded graphic media effectively to improve reading skills learning disabilities for children beginning to read X class II in SDN 17 Gadut Java. The results of this study if it can be taken into consideration for teachers to use graphic media in learning Indonesian, especially in beginning reading. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove the presence or absense of total communication influence on the ability to read the announcement  with proper pronunciation and intonation for deaf students in special-ed classes D.III/B Kartini Batam. This study uses quasi experiment with the rotation patern (the experimental group and the control group). The sample was third grade deaf student, amounting to 8 people. Data obtained through test the ability to read the announcement. Then analyzed with the Mann-Whitney test. The result showed that Uc =7 and Ut= 15, so the statistical decision: Uc < Ut (7< 15). Means the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and accepted (H1). These result can be concluded that the level of 95% of the data obtained can be said that “the ability to read the announcement of the third grade deaf children in special schools are not the same Batam Kartini (no influence) after being given a lesson by using total communication”. The results also that effect result from childre eith communication learnning total is positive (increasing returns) than child with spelling. Thus, it can be suggested at the school, teachers and researchers to further use total communication in learning to read more

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan anak tunagrahita ringan melalui media stick angka. Permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas II/C SLB Negeri 1 Kubung, kab. Solok, yaitu terdapat seorang anak tunagrahita ringan yang kesulitan dalam pemahaman konsep bilangan, hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil pengamatan bahwa anak sudah mengenal lambang bilangan namun belum mengetahui makna dari bilangan tersebut. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan bahwa media stick angka dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan untuk anak tunagrahita ringan. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan eksperimen single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa media stick angka dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan bagi anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB Negeri 1 Kubung, kab. Solok.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in the field that appears Tunagrahita Lightweight four children who are learning the skills to make fresh Sanjai menta . Of the four students who take only two students who otherwise completed using a 10 -making process . The two students appointed as peer researchers to help two students again that the four students who studied skilled in making Sanjai fresh raw. This study uses action research ( Classroom Action Research ) in collaboration with colleagues . Data were collected through observation techniques , and tests , then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively . Subjects were Tunagrahita Lightweight Kids in Class V SLB sparkle Tarusan the initials AR , FD , DW , and GN . This research was conducted in two cycles , the first cycle with a 5 second cycle with meetings and 4 meetings . The results of the assessment ( initial test ) capability AR (50 %) , FD ( 50 % ) , DW ( 20 % ) and GN ( 30 % ) . AR cycle I got the results ( 100 % ) , FD ( 100 % ) , DW ( 50 % ) and GN gets the value ( 50 % ) . In the second cycle AM gets the value ( 100 % ) , FD gets the value ( 100 % ) , MY scored (100 %) and YS get value ( 100 % ) This shows the increase and success after allowing for repair and the role of peers in helping Sanjai raw fresh made ​​. It can be concluded that the method can improve the skills of peer tutors make fresh raw Sanjai for mild mental retardation children , it is recommended to teachers in order to implement a peer tutoring methods to improve the skills of the child .

Abstract

Intention of this research is 1) Description process execution of study to increase ability of have powder  and 2) Proving do approach of co-operative can improve ability of have powder to  child of tunagrahita class is D.III /C1 in SLB Syech Muhammad Saad Limapuluh Kota. Type Research the used is classroom  action  research. Data obtained to through and observation of tes. Later then analysed qualitative and is quantitative. Result of research indicate that 1) study process in improving ability of have powder  by approach of co-operative with two cycle. Each cycle early with activity of planning, execution (activity early, nucleus;core and is final), observation, analysis and and refleksi 2) Result of from study with approach of co-operative to ability of have powder to mount. Matter is proven: before treatment of ability of have child powder namely: Wt equal to ( 30,6%), ability of Fn ( 27,8%), ability of Mn ( 16,7%). Cycle of I have mounted namely Wt equal to ( 72,2%), Fn equal to ( 66,7%) and Mn is ( 55,6%). While at cycle of II progressively mount, where Wt ( 94,4%), Fn ( 86,1%). Thereby, can be concluded that approach of co-operative can assist to improve ability of have tunagrahita child of  powder. Suggesting on the side of school, researcher and teacher hereinafter to be able to use approach of co-operative in improving other ability

ABSTRAKYulia Marzalena (2016): “Peran Guru Keterampilan Dalam Membina Kerajinan Tangan Siswa Tunarungu SMPLB (Deskriptif Kualitatif di SLB Karya Padang) “Skripsi. Padang : Jurusan Pendidikan Luar Biasa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Padang.Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari hasil temuan peneliti terhadap bermacam-macam hasil kerajinan tangan siswa tunarungu yang bagus dan bernilai jual tinggi. Kerajinan ini tentu tidak lepas dari bimbingan dan peran seorang guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran guru keterampilan dalam membina kerajinan tangan siswa tunarungu SMPLB di SLB Karya Padang.Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, yang difokuskan pada cara guru keterampilan dalam membina kerajinan tangan siswa tunarungu, kendala yang dihadapi serta usaha yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Subjek penelitian ini guru keterampilan sekolah SLB Karya Padang. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian yang didapat bahwa guru mengajarkan keterampilan dengan menggunakan metode latihan dan demonstrasi, langkah-lankah pembuatan taplak meja tenun bali dijelaskan satu persatu sampai siswa paham dan mengerti. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru keterampilan pada saat pembinaan kerajinan tangan yaitu persiapan yang berikan sekolah, terkadang anak malas untuk membuat keterampilan karena selalu menyambung pekerjaan kemarin yang belum selesai, paku pada cetakannya lepas, puntalan benang yang sering kusut dan waktu yang kurang pada saat pembelajaran, sering terjadi kesalah pahaman dalam penyampaian materi dan langkah-langkah pembuatan taplak meja tenun bali dikarenakan kurangnya perbendaharaan kata pada anak tunarungu. Waktu yang diberikan untuk membuat kerajinan tangan taplak meja tenun bali belum cukup, karena pekerjaannya harus hati-hati dan cukup rumit.  Usaha yang dilakukan guru yaitu masing-masing guru bertanggung jawab atas masing-masing anak, jadi kalau ada permasalahan seperti paku pada cetakannya lepas, puntalan benang yang sering kusut, maka guru kelas yang mendampingi anak tersebut langsung mengambil tindakan dengan membantu anak meluruskan benang yang kusut tersebut serta melakukan penjelasan secara berulang-ulang tentang langkah-langkah pembuatan alas meja dari benang wol. Kesimpulannya guru keterampilan sudah melaksanakan perannya dengan sebaik-baiknya sehingga siswa tunarungu dapat menhasilkan karya-karya yang bagus dan memiliki nilai jual serta kemampuan yang dimiliki anak dapat menjadi bekal setelah mereka menyelesaikan pendidikan di SLB Karya Padang.  Kata kunci : guru keterampilan, kerajinan tangan, siswa tunarungu
