Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to test the effectiveness of the use of personification methods in improving reading skills for children hijaiyah class learning difficulties SDN 09 Padang Koto Luar. This research Single Subject Research approach and design of the ABA. Subjects were a student learning difficulties in class V. To measure the research variables, the percentage of the techniques applied. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the use of personification effective method to improve reading skills learning disabilities hijaiyah children in class V SDN 09 Padang Koto Luar Kata-kata kunci: Personifiksi; Membaca; Huruf Hijaiyah; Kesulitan Belajar

Abstract

This research aim to to increase ability clean clothes embisil of child by using combination demonstrate and practice method. This research use approach of Single Subject Reaserch ( SSR) with A-B desain. Subject Research is embisil of child (X). It’s goals measure of him that is how many amount (%) stages; steps clean clothes which have been specified can clean better and correctness. Where condition  A (baseline) that is condition of early before given condition and treatment B that is represent the condition of intervention namely the condition of where child given intervention by using combination demonstrate and practice method. Result of this research indicate that ability of child in cleaning clothes mount after given study with method demonstrate and practice. This proven phase of baseline (A) ability of child still lower (12,5%). After given by intervention ( B) through treatment with combination demonstrate and practice method, ability of child mount until (87,5%) in do step to clean clothes which have been specified better and correctness. From result of presentation of data can be concluded that combination demonstrate and effective practice method to increase ability clean clothes embisil of child. This research expected can be of benefit to researcher and teacher hereinafter and in order to become guidance to do combination demonstrate and practice method to increase ability embisil of child in managing the other ownself.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted based on a problem found at SLB Wacana Asih Padang indicating that a student with medium mental retardation in class X C1 got difficulties to wear underwear. Therefore, this research was aimed at revealing the effectiveness of modeling media to enhance the ability of the student with medium mental retardation to wear underwear in class X C1 of SLB Wacana Asih Padang.This was an experimental research which applied Single Subject Research (SSR) and A-B-A design. The data gathered in this research were analyzed by using visual analysis of graphic. The subject of the research was a student with medium mental retardation in class X C1. Through this research, the student was required to do sixteen activities of wearing underwear. The assessment in this research was done by using percentage technique.In the baseline condition (A1) that consisted of six meetings, the mean level was 39,6 and the tendency of direction improved (+), in intervention condition (B) that consisted of seven meeting, the mean level was 78,2 and the tendency of direction improved (B), and in the baseline condition (A2) that consisted of six meetings the mean level was 91,5 and the tendency of direction also improved (+). The percentage of the data overlapped between the baseline condition (1) and the intervention condition (B) was 0%, and between the baseline condition (A2) and the intervention (B) was 14,28%. These results indicated that the smaller the percentage of the data overlapped, the better the effect of the intervention. Based on these results, it was concluded that the use of modeling media was effective to enhance the skill of the student with medium retardation to wear underwear in class X C1 of SLB Wacana Asih Padang. Kata Kunci: media model; meningkatkan kemampuan; memasang pakaian dalam; tunagrahita sedang

Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, kemampuan anak berkesulitan belajar  dalam mengenal nilai tempat meningkat. Dilihat dari kemampuan mengenal nilai tempat dengan menggunakan media kantong diperoleh Uhit = 17,5 dan Utab = 13. Dilihat dari mengenal nilai tempat dengan menggunakan media kotak diperoleh Uhit = 21, dan Utab = 13. Dari kedua hasil pengujian maka Uhit ˃ Utab. Dengan demikian hipotesis diterima, berarti dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kantong lebih efektif dalam mengenal nilai tempat bagi anak berkesulitan belajar matematika kelas IV. Oleh sebab itu, disarankan pada pihak sekolah untk menggunakan Media Kantong dalam pembelajaran belajar nilai tempat bagi anak berkesulitan belajar pada pelajaran matematika. Abstract

Increasing the students’ ability on substraction operation by using   “borrowing of realObject medium”  at SLB Negeri Tanjungpinang grade V Tuna Grahita. study is caused by the researcher faced at the tunagrahita fifth grade of SLB Negeri Tanjungpinang. There are AG, AS, FT, PT, IC, RR, RK, RZ, WN. nine (9) student which have problems at substractions, the researcher has no an appropriate technique. The aims of this research is to increase students’ ability in substractions by using ice cream stick at Tunagrahita students and the teacher as researcher of SLB NegeriTanjungpinang. The research desain is using the classroom, action research with the other teachers help. The collection data were obtained by test and observation.The research was consisted of two treatment the data of group 1 was increasing in substraction by “borrowing technique” that is IC, PT, RR, RK and WN, but the students initial RZ, FT, AS and AG, did not reached the appropriate minimum score . that’s why the research continued to do the substraction operation by “borrow technique”, the students able to do the exercise and reach score at 65.It is proven from the research that “borrowing of real object medium” able to increase the substraction on student of SLB Tunagrahita Ringan. Then borrowing technique suggested to increase the substraction achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of video tutorials to improve the skills in making lip balm for deaf people. This research used experiment approach with one-group pretest posttest design. The sample of this research are five deaf people in Gerkatin Padang. The skills examined by pretest and posttest are proccessed  and compared by using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Based on the result of pretest and posttest it is known that the mean score of pretest is 19,80 and the mean  score of posttest is 30.20. The mean scores would later processed to find the differences with using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. From the result of data analysis, it is found 2,032 and Asymp Sig (2-tailed) = 0,042 in significant degree 95% and α=0,05. The alternative hypothesis is accepted because t > Asymp Sig (2-tailed). Therefore, it is concluded that video tutorial is effective in improving the skills of making lip balm for deaf people  in Gerkatin Padang. This research suggests for deaf people loss in Gerkatin Padang to use video tutorial to improve the skills in making lip balm for others.

Abstract

This study begins of encountered a child with autism who do not understand with the concept of numbers. From the observation children with autism do not know the form of the numbers 1 to 10. This study aims to improve recognize the concept of numbers in children with autism. The design of this study A-B in a single subject research (SSR). As the subject is one child with autism. one child with autism. Assessment in this study consistent in measuring number of correct answers of the figures cited, shown, be taken, and written children with autism were presented as a percentage.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the problem that was found in SLB AL-Azhar Bukittinggi on the mild mental retardation kids grade III who had less interest and motivation to learn math. The students tend to be passive and only listening during the class, they were also looks less enjoy the lesson. It influenced the learning goal and the outcomes will not be maximum. The goal of this research is to know whether joyful learning strategy can increase the motivation to learn Math of the mild mental retardation kids grade III in SLB Al-Azhar Bukittinggi. The research method being used was classroom action research that consist of II cycles. Each consist of 5 meetings and carried out in several stages, that were action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The observation result of the analysis of the students initial capability was with the average RA 28% and RZ 35%. After the cycle I was done, it became RA 65% and RZ 62%. And it increased again after the cycle II was done, the average increased to RA 81% and RZ 77%. The result shows that joyful learning strategy can increase the motivation to learn Math on mild mental retardation kids grade III in SLB Al-Azhar Bukittinggi.  Kata kunci: motivasi belajar matematika; joyful learning stategy; anak tunagrahita ringan

Abstract

Abstrack : Perkembangan seorang anak adalah suatu kebanggan bagi orangtua. Mulai dari perkembangan fisik, motorik, psikomotor, dan  perkembangan kemandirian anak. Perkembangan tersebut tidak lepas dari pola asuh orangtua, begitu juga dengan kemandirian anak. Pola asuh orangtua sangat mempengaruhi kemandirian. Pola asuh yang permisif atau memanjakan akan menghasilkan anak yang tidak mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus tentang pola asuh orangtua dalam upaya pembentukan kemandirian anak. Data yang diperoleh bersumber dari observasi dan wawancara.   Kata kunci: Pola Asuh:  Anak Down syndrome: Kemandirian
