This research was conducted based on the result of the previous observation indicating that the student with light mental retardation X got difficulties to do jumping. They seemed unable to jump forward, backward, to the right side and to the left side. Therefore, this research was intended to improve the students’ skill to do jumping through traditional game rope jump and to reveal whether this game could work on this problem. This was an experimental research which used Single Research Subject (SSR). In conducting this research, A and B designs were applied. The subject of the research was the students with light mental retardation X in class II of SDLB 35 Painan. The result of the research indicated that the skill of the students with light mental retardation X to jump forward, backward, to the right side and to the left side could be improved through traditional game rope jump. In the baseline condition (A) which consisted of seven meetings, the students were only able to jump forward for which the percentage was 25%. While in the intervention condition (B) that consisted of sixteen meetings, the students’ skill improved from the eighteenth meeting to the twentieth meeting in which the highest score was 100%.

This research was the discovery of a blind Professor begins the initials he has talent special in the field of music. See it then it can be formulated in this research issue i.e. How does the blind Professor profile at Art Institute Indonesia Padang Panjang. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach to look at the profile of a college professor who are blind. The subject is a college professor who are blind. The collection of data in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation.From the results of the research appear that the birth of a history lecturer blind to walk normally. He was the third child of six siblings and married in 1967 but he did not have children. As for the causes of blindness, known since he was a toddler and grow just like the other kids. Because it has a strong desire to learn the violin, then he was sent to study abroad (Belgium). After completing his studies abroad and won, then he returned to Indonesia and served as educators (Lecturer) at the Art Institute Indonesia Padang Panjang.

Abstract. This research was done due tu student’ stiff motors in doing classroom activities. It happened because their fine motors’ ability was still low. This research aimed at improving student’ fine motors by using mosaic for the mental retarded students at class D.I.This design of the research was class action research. The research was done under the collaboration of the homeroom teacher and two students (HF and PT). The subjects of the research was two mental retarded students of class D.I at SLB Gema Insani Padang. Data were obtained from observation, test, and documentation. They were analyzed by using both qualitative and quantitative approaches.The results of analysis showed that: 1) the learning process by using mosaic (sticking dry banana leaves) in improving students’ fine motors was done in two cycles. Cycle I was done in seven meetings and cycle II was in five meetings. Each cycle consisted of the planning stage, the application stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. 2) HF’s learning outcame improved from 43.5% in the assessment stage to 87% in cycle I dan 97.8% in cycle II. Meanwhile PT’s learning outcome improved from 37% in the assessment stage to 78.3% in cycle I improve the mental retarded students’ fine motors. Thus, it is sugested to the school, the teachers and the future researchers to use mosaic in developing mental retarded students’ fine motors.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berawal dari ditemukannya seorang anak dengan hambatan pendengaran di kelas IV SLB Perwari Padang bermasalah dalam pelafalan huruf Dental Alveolar. Anak diketahui belum bisa membaca kalimat maupun kata. Selain itu, anak memiliki masalah dalam pelafalan huruf, terutama huruf konsonan Dental Alveolar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan huruf Dental Alveolar pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran dengan hipotesis permainan sondah efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan huruf Dental Alveolar bagi anak dengan hambatan pendengaran di kelas IV SLB Perwari Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dalam bentuk Single Subject Reasearh (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Penilaian penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar persentase keberhasilan anak dalam melafalkan huruf dental alveolar pada kata yang diberikan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data visual berupa grafik. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pelafalan huruf Dental Alveolar meningkat secara signifikan setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan permainan Sondah. Hal ini ditunjukkanpadakondisibaseline (A1)50%. Kondisiintervensi(B) 83,3%, dankemampuan setelah tidak diberi intervensi lagi (A2)75%. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil analisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi menunjukkan estimasi kecenderungan arah, kecenderungan kestabilan, jejak data dan tingkat perubahan yang meningkat secara positif, serta Overlap pada analisis data kondisi A10% dan kondisi A2 50%. Sehingga nantinya diharapkan kepada guru untuk dapat menggunakan permainan sondah dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada pelafalan huruf. Research was motivated by the problems that researchers in the field discover that a child's mild mental retardation X 3 Basic class in SLB Wacana Asih Padang, impaire in bilabial consonant pronunciation. Thus the researcher seeks to help improve pronunciation skills bilabial consonant [b] at the beginning, middle and end of words through auditory kinesthetic method Taktile Visual Stimulation (VAKT). Study aimed to prove that the VAKT can improve bilabial consonant pronunciation [ b] at the beginning, middle and end of words for mild mental retardation children X. The research methodology used was a single subject research (SSR) with A-B-A design the graphic and visual analysis techniques. Subjects were mild mental retardation children basic 3, measure ment variables using percentages. The results are analyzed include the number of observations in the baseline condition (A1) seven times seen the highest value reached only 10%, treatment condition (B) ten times and the highest value reached 90% and the baseline condition (A2) as much as five times the highest value achieved 100%. Recommended for further research and classroom teachers in order to use the method to train VAKT bilabial consonant pronunciation skills in children.

This research was motivated by the bermasalahan one cause of children learning mathematics very closely berkesuiltan his relationship with the child's social and environmental factors . As where the author met in first grade students of SD Negeri 07 Salido market the majority of students live on the beach . They are forced to work to help their parents to cover the needs of the economy . At an early age they have to work to dry their fish sometimes even locked up at home to care for younger brother . Though they really need time to play and socialize with the surrounding environment .

This research starts from outcome asessement which researchers conducted in Lubuk Alune Mutiara Budi SLB. against the child of Down Svndrome initials AB was 12 years old that is less interested or less motivated in learning to know the concept of numbers 1-5. Researchers want to improve motivation to learn to know the concept of numbers 1-5 children, this research aims to make the children Down Syndrome have high motivation in learning to know the concept of number of 1-5. In a hypothesis research stated that: A game sticker figures can increase the motivation learn to the concept of the number of 1-5 to the child of down syndrome AB. The kind of research used was the single subject research with a design A-B, namely comparing motivation to learn the child of Down Syndrome on condition baseline and the condition of treatment. Technique analysis of data used based on observation data in the form Of Visual Analysis Of The Charis. After the data is analyzed, then retrieved the results: the length of the condition of the to Six times observation for six days. While me lengths the condition of intervening ten times observation for ten days. The direction of the tendency of data baseline that is indicative of motivation learn the child in know the concept of the number of 1-5 child AB. Appointed a little ride (+), While the tendency ot data intervention is increased (+) in accordance with the expected. Of research results that analyzed includes the number of observations on condition the baseline as much as six times and kondisi treatment as much as ten times. The result of this research was shown on close analysis of data in conditions and analvsis of data between the condition of being showing the changes in the motivation learn to the concept of the number of 1-5 on child x toward what is better. Of revenue this data can be inferred that the game sticker figures can be used to increase me motivation iearn to the Concept of points for the child down syndrome 1st class. Advised for class teacher or teacher mathematics so as to be the use of the game sticker figures in learning to know the concept of the number of 1-5 to a child down syndrome.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan pada seorang siswa dengan hambatan kecerdasan ringan yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal angka 1 sampai 10 serta kurang optimalnya guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan media game edukasi marbel number. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan baik serta kemampuan siswapun meningkat. Peningkatan proses pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi siklus I pada peneliti mendapatkan persentase sebesar 90% sedangkan pada siswa mendapatkan persentase sebesar 80%, namun setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus II hasil observasi pada peneliti meningkat menjadi 100% dan pada siswa menjadi 90%. Untuk peningkatan kemampuan siswa dapat dilihat dari kemampuan awal siswa sebesar 40% setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 66.6%, kemudian setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus II kemampuan siswa meningkat menjadi 76.6%.

This research was conducted based on the problems found in Elementary School showing that the students with learning difficulties got problems to read, write and calculate. In this case, the teachers and the headmasters did not yet discover the number of the students having learning difficulties in Elementary School from the first grade to the second grade surely. The local Ministry of Education also did not perceive the number and the data of the students with learning difficulties especially those living in Kecamatan Kuranji. The purpose of this research was to reveal the prevalence or the number of the students having problems to read, to write or to calculate in Elementary Schools in Kecamatan Kuranji Padang. This research applied descriptive method and quantitative approach. The sample was chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The data were gathered by using questionnaire and were analyzed by using percentage formula. Based on the results of the research , it was figured out that the number of the students having problems to read in 53 Elementary Schools in Kecamatan Kuranji Padang was 2.973 or 23.4% of 12.762 students. The number of the students having problems to write in 53 Elementary Schools in Kecamatan Kuranji Padang was 3.062 or 24.1% of 12.762 students . The number of the students having problems to calculate in 53 Elementary School in Kecamatan Kuranji Padang was 3.530 or 28% of 12.762 students.Keywords : Prevalence ; students with learning difficulty; descriptive quantitative.

The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to recognize numbers 1-10 mild mental retardation in children (RN and AD) in the Class D1 SLB Al-Ishlaah Padang. Type of research is a classroom action research (classroom action research) with two cycles performed in the form of collaboration with colleagues. The subjects in this study were classroom teachers and two classroom mild mental retardation D1 / C (RN and AD). Data obtained through observation and tests. Then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that 1) the learning process in enhancing the ability to know the numbers 1-10 with through rod play figures with two cycles. Cycle I and Cycle II carried five (5) meetings. Each cycle begins with the planning, implementation (initial activity, core and end), observation, and analysis and reflection. 2) The results of the study proved that children's ability to recognize numbers up. This proved: before treatment (assessment) that the child's ability: RN scored (23.3), AD (20). I cycle an increase in the ability to say and show figures 1-10 RN values obtained for (100) and AD (95). Cycle II the ability to know the numbers by writing the numbers 1-10 obtained values for the RN as well (100) and AD (80). Thus, we can conclude that the playing rods can improve the ability to know the numbers numbers (say, show and write numbers 1-10) mild mental retardation children class D1 SLB Al-Ishlaah Padang.
