Abstract

Indonesia is known as a producer of abundant natural resources, one of which is mining materials such as sand, gold, copper, nickel, coal, tin. The existence of a wealth of mining materials in Indonesia raises polemics regarding illegal mining activities or mining without permits. Batauga District is one of the areas in South Buton Regency which has the potential for mining C in the form of a sand mine which can produce in quite large quantities. With the potential for sand mining in Batauga District, it has negative impacts related to environmental preservation. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the application of public policy in preventing the mining of mineral C in Batauga District, South Buton Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative by using literature study techniques. The findings from this research are that the implementation of mineral C mining policies in Batauga District in preventing illegal mining is still low, both in terms of organizational activities, interpretation and application. solutions that can be applied to overcome the problem of illegal mining in Batauga District, include: the reformulation of regulations, the government making repressive efforts, improving bureaucracy, and the Government conducting outreach to the community.

Abstract

Gadgets has become everyone's daily needs, apart from being a communication tool and looking for an information, gadgets are also a tool for seeking entertainment, one of which is playing offline and online games. There are lots of people from children to adults who play online games, one of which is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, a game that provides this chatting feature is often misused by many people to spread hate during the game, this is called to be toxic behavior. This study uses qualitative research which includes the process of observation, interviews, and documentation targeting students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. This research proves that the phenomenon of toxic behavior occurs when a teammate plays badly and also when a teammate blames one another. This makes emotions unstable and performs toxic behavior in the form of speaking harsh words. In addition, based on the results of research, FISIP students have the characteristics of inconsistency and like to make conflicts during games.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the strategies employed by the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) of Palangka Raya City in increasing community participation, particularly among indigenous leaders, in the 2020 regional head elections and preparation for the 2024 general elections, as well as efforts to improve Bawaslu's supervision strategies for the 2024 elections. A descriptive research method with a qualitative approach was used to generate systematic, factual, and accurate data. The results show that Bawaslu of Palangka Raya City has four main strategies to increase community participation in regional head and general elections, namely collaboration with universities and organizations, socialization through banners and brochures, and the use of social media. Although these strategies received positive responses from indigenous leaders, involving more indigenous, religious, and community leaders in every supervision activity by Bawaslu of Palangka Raya City is necessary.

Abstract

The wedding procession ceremony in the culture of the Navel village is one of the cultural products. Currently, the ceremony is still taking place in the village and is carried out by the people of West Baturaja District in the village of Pusar as one of the socio-cultural aspects. This study aims to (1) describe the wedding ceremony of the village of Pusar and, (2) analyze the local wisdom contained in the wedding ceremony of the village of Pusar. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. With the research subject, namely OKU Regency in the village of Navel. The problem of this study is the symbolic meaning in the wedding procession with the sacrifice, the slaughter of black goats in the village of Pusar, West Baturaja sub-district. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the culture of marriage processions with sacrifices, the slaughter of scapegoats was started and created from an idea, an idea that is meaningful and has its own meaning for the people of the Baturaja sub-district, especially in Pusar Village.

Abstract

Saat ini, berbagai film pendek karya anak bangsa mulai dari komedi, horor, dan percintaan, salah satunya adalah film pendek melalui kanal you tube Paniradya Kaistimewan, Yogyakarta yang berjudul "Pemean", film pendek ini banyak sekali pesan moral yang disampaikan sehingga film ini menceritakan keadaan yang sebenarnya tentang berbagai macam sifat manusia. Untuk itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pesan moral yang terkandung dalam film pendek "Pemean" melalui analisis semiotika Roland Barthes, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu pendekatan yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi data. Hasil dari pembahasan (1) Peneliti ini menunjukkan bahwa film pendek Pemean mengajarkan untuk tidak banyak omonga tetapi tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan (2) adanya mitos-mitos yang ada di dalam film Pemean (3) film yang mengajarkan manusia untuk tidak berburuk sangka.

Abstract

Penertiban dokumen administrasi kependudukan bertujuan untuk menciptakan data dan informasi yang mutakhir. Kondisi lapangan menunjukan bahwa adanya indikasi ketidaktertiban masyarakat mengenai administrasi kependudukan, khususnya di Kelurahan Kedung Baruk, Kecamatan Rungkut Kota Surabaya. Sebagai langkah meningkatkan pelayanan prima, pemerintah kota surabaya meluncurkan inovasi pelayanan baru yang bernama Pawai Sayang Warga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pelayanan prima dari inovasi pelayanan yang dikelurakan Pemerintah Kota Surabaya yaitu Pawai Sayang Warga di Kelurahan Kedung Baruk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berasal dari wawancara kepada Kepala Seksi Pemerintahan dan Pelayanan Publik Kelurahan Kedung Baruk, Petugas Pelayanan Pawai Sayang Warga Kelurahan Kedung Baruk, dan warga sekitar Kelurahan kedung baruk, obeservasi, dan kajian literatur dengan menggunakan teori Pelayanan Prima. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pawai sayang warga merupakan pelayanan publik yang prima. Namun penyedia layanan yang berwenang masih harus berupaya untuk terus meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat agar menumbuhkan kesadaran tertib administrasi kependudukan.

Abstract

Abstrak TikTok adalah platform media sosial berbagi video singkat asal Tiongkok yang memiliki pengguna hingga 109,9 juta di Indonesia. Masifnya penggunaan TikTok turut mempengaruhi berbagai aspek di kehidupan manusia, salah satunya adalah pendidikan. Pilih Jurusan adalah layanan online coaching dan konsultasi karir yang juga memanfaatkan TikTok sebagai sarana dalam menyebarkan informasi dan edukasi melalui konten edutainment. Konten edutainment “Tebak Jurusan Kuliah” yang diunggah melalui akun TikTok Pilih Jurusan pada bulan Mei dan Juni 2023 berhasil menarik perhatian dan keterlibatan audiens. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konten edutainment “Tebak Jurusan Kuliah” pada media sosial TikTok Pilih Jurusan memenuhi elemen kunci pada teori penyebaran informasi, yaitu inovasi, komunikator, saluran komunikasi, dan penerima, serta peningkatan reach dan engagement menjadi indikator keberhasilan konten edutainment sebagai media penyebaran informasi, edukasi, dan hiburan dari TikTok PIlih Jurusan.

Abstract

Pujawali dan Perang Topat merupakan tradisi turun-menurun yang diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi yang memiliki nilai luhur tentang toleransi dan persatuan, penelitian menggunakan pendekatan etnografi untuk mengurai dan mendeskripsikan budaya Pujawali dan Perang Topat dari sudut pandang warga pemilik budaya di Lingsar. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan observasi partisipan dan wawancara mendalam. Pengambilan sampel informan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Proses pengumpulan data dengan teknik snowball sampling/chain sampling sebanyak 12 orang informan. Terjadi konvergensi simbol melalui cerita Datu Sumilir dalam pembentukan hubungan warga Muslim dan warga Hindu saat upacara Pujawali dan Perang Topat di Lingsar. Simbol terkonvergensi dalam pesan yang dikomunikasikan oleh warga Muslim dan Hindu yaitu simbol Datu Sumilir, Kelebutan, dan Kemaliq melalui cerita Datu Sumilir sehingga terbentuk hubungan (relationship) yang baik antara kedua warga yang berbeda agama untuk bekerjasama mensukseskan ritual upacara Pujawali dan Perang Topat.

Abstract

The protection and management of conservation, biodiversity and ecosystems in Indonesia is essential, including the protection of endangered species. One of the endangered animals is the orangutan on the island of Borneo. In addition to the crushed, the orangutan population has also continued to decline due to poaching that has been rife over the past few decades. The area of natural forests from Indonesia is currently shrinking rapidly. So now animal life is increasingly threatened due to the rapid development of humans and increasingly sophisticated human civilization. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the efforts made by the government in implementing policies in the protection of Bornean Orangutans. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature review approach. The results showed that the implementation of government policies in an effort to protect orangutans in Kalimantan is by conserving orangutans. However, in reality, conservation efforts often collide with various interests. Inhibiting policy implementation are the expansion of industrial estates and the conversion of forested areas that squeeze vast areas of orangutan habitat.

Abstract

This study analyzes Minister of Health Regulation Number 10 of 2021, which focuses on COVID-19 vaccination implementation in Indonesia. The research combines qualitative and quantitative data using Big Data Analysis techniques such as data mining and text mining. The study reveals that the graph comparison of fully vaccinated individuals in Indonesia demonstrates a reduction in new cases of the COVID-19 variant, indicating a high level of public participation in the vaccination policy. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the vaccination program in combating the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia
