Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penggunaan media wordwall terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks cerita pendek. Dalam penelitian ini tujuan penggunaan metode kuantitatif adalah mendeskripsikan, menjelaskan situasi atau kondisi suatu peristiwa dengan melampirkan bukti-bukti dari hasil penelitian. Data yang dipilih menggunakan sampel kelas XI A sebanyak 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pembagian soal atau tes, dokumentasi, dan angket yang berisi 15 pertanyaan. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan rumus Chi-Square (X2). Setelah dilakukan penelitian pada tanggal 5 Juni 2024 diperoleh hasil bahwa penggunaan media wordwall memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa kelas XI mengenai materi teks cerita pendek. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil tes dan angket sebesar 32,949 lebih besar dari tabel Chi-Square pada taraf signifikansi 1% dan taraf signifikansi 5%.Kata Kunci: Media pembelajaran, wordwall, pemahaman siswa, teks cerita pendek

Abstract

This research aims to produce a Problem Based Learning(PBL) learning model to improve the ability to write practical and effective argumentative paragraphs. An argumentative paragraph is a paragraph that expresses an opinion accompanied by accurate evidence and facts to convince the reader. Therefore, to train students' skills in writing argumentative paragraphs, students must be trained optimally and given maximum understanding to improve their understanding in writing argumentative paragraphs. This type of research is development research ( Research and Development ) using the Borg & Gall development model. The subjects of this research were 30 students of class VIII MTS YAPPAM. Data analysis was carried out by converting the total actual scores obtained into five-scale qualitative data. The products developed are PBL learning model books, lesson plans, worksheets (LK) and learning achievement tests (TPB). The results of expert validation, teacher assessment scores, student responses, learning observations, learning achievement tests, and investigative ability tests show that PBL learning model books, lesson plans, worksheets (LK), learning achievement tests (TPB), and argumentative paragraph writing ability tests (TKMPA) is valid, practical and effective. Thus, overall the research conducted shows that the product developed is suitable for use in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. Keywords: development of learning models, problem based learning , argumentative paragraph.

Abstract

This study evaluates the use of YouTube in learning biographical texts in class X of SMK Negeri 6 Semarang, focusing on its impact on student engagement and understanding. Educational videos from YouTube, combined with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, enhance students' active learning and critical thinking skills. This study applies a qualitative descriptive method to evaluate the use of the YouTube video "I Understand" in Indonesian learning at SMK N 6 Semarang. The goal is to understand the impact of the video on learning outcomes and teacher and student responses. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The findings of the study show that YouTube videos can increase student engagement in an interesting and interactive way in learning Indonesian. The results show that the integration of YouTube with the PBL model creates a more active and problem-based learning environment, as well as supports the development of students' critical and creative thinking skills. While this combination is effective in improving the ability to write biographical texts, challenges such as internet access and technical skills need to be addressed to maximize their benefits. Recommendations for further practice include the selection of high-quality videos and the integration of videos with interactive activities for optimal learning outcomes. Keywords: Kata Kunci : Media Youtube, Teks Biografi, Pemanfaatan

Abstract

The development of an Indonesian language module based on the case method is the aim of this research. The type of this research is developmental research involving subject matter experts, design experts, professors, and students. The experiment was conducted involving 2 individual students, 5 small-group students, and 10 limited-group students. The module's quality was obtained in the form of data through questionnaire responses. The findings of this research indicate that: (1) the validation process by the subject matter experts obtained an excellent predicate with a total of 93.25%, (2) the assessment by the design experts received a very good response with a percentage of 91.75%, (3) the limited-group trial achieved an excellent result of 94.99%, (4) the module's effectiveness has an average of 92.00%, which is very good. It can be concluded that the Indonesian language module based on the case method, which has gone through the development process, is suitable for use in academic activities as a learning resource.Keywords: Development, Module, Indonesian Language, Case Method.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the moral values contained within book of folklore legends of the silver hill by Ricky A. Manik. This type of research uses qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used the research uses book text analysis techniques, namely reading, listening and taking notes using a research instrument in the form of a research data classification table. Analysis techniques the data used in this research is a descriptive interactive data analysis technique, starting from the data reduction stage, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Results of this research shows that there are moral values reflected in legendary folklore books silver hill. The form of moral values obtained will be in the form of quotes about moral values man's relationship with God, man's relationship with himself, relationship humans with humans, the relationship between humans and nature. Based on the research results It was found that the moral value with the most quotes concerns the moral value of relationships man and himself, there were 42 quotes obtained. Then moral values which has few quotes and nothing at all regarding the moral value of relationships humans and nature found 2 quotes and the relationship between humans and their God not a single moral value was found regarding this moral value.Keywords: Analysis, moral values, folklore, legends.
