Abstract

ABSTRACT         The purpose this research are (1) To find out the exposition text writing skills at class VIII SMP at 5 Pariaman before using copy the master technique. (2) To find out the exposition text writing skills ot class VIII SMP at 5 Pariaman after using copy the master technique. (3) To analyze the effects of using copy the master technique towards the exposition text writing skills at class VIII SMP at 5 Pariaman. This is quantitative research using quasi experiment. Abstract

ABSTRACTThere are three aims of this study. First, describe the skills of listening to the news of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development at the UNP Laboratory Development. Second, describe the writing text skills of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development in the Construction of the UNP Laboratory. Third, describe the contribution of listening to the news with the writing text skills of  VIII grade students at the UNP Laboratory Development.The  type of this research is quantitative in terms of descriptive methods. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was the eighth grade students of the Middle School Development of the UNP Laboratory which was registered in the 2017/2018 school year, it was 168 students.The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 42 students. The research data is in the form of scores on the skills test results of listening to the news and scores on the results of the test writing news text skills. The instrument of this study is an objective test to measure news listening skills and performance tests to measure news text writing skills.The results of this study are three. First, the skills to write news texts of  VIII grade students of the Middle School Development.The development of the UNP Laboratory is in accordance with the Good qualifications (B). Second, the skill of listening to the news text of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development of the UNP Laboratory Development in accordance with Good qualifications (B). Third, listening to news text skills contributed 32.72% to the news text writing skills of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development at the Construction of the UNP Laboratory.                    Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan Menyimak Berita, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to describe things as follows. First, it describes the skills of reading comprehension grade VII JUNIOR 20 Country field. Second, it describes the writing skills text description grade VII JUNIOR 20 Country field. Third, explain the relationship between the keterampilaan reading comprehension with writing skills text description grade VII JUNIOR 20 Country field. Type of this research is quantitative research with the method korelasional. The research design used was the korelasional relationship of two variables. The population of this research grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 20 listed in the teaching of 2018/2019 with a total of 254 students scattered in seven classes. The sample in this study amounted to 48 people. Sample taken using a simple random technique with a precision of 15% using a proportional random sampling techniques. Research instrument this is a test performance, namely, test write text description and objective tests the skills of reading comprehension text description. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that research done about the relationship skills reading comprehension dengana writing skills text descriptions have a relationship on a level may 95% i.e. thitung is greater than ttabel with dk = n-1. Thus, it can be noted that the higher the reading comprehension skills of students will be increasingly higher skill levels write a text description of the students. Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis, Teks Deskripsi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the writing skills of exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang before using discovery learning models assisted by audiovisual media. Second, describe the writing skills of exposition text of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang after using discovery learning models assisted by audiovisual media. Third, describe the influence of discovery learning models assisted by audiovisual media on writing exposition text skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. The sample in this study was class VIII.2 with 29 students. The results of this study are three, namely as follows. First, exposition text writing skills before using the discovery learning learning model assisted by audiovisual media of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang are in almost adequate qualifications with an average value of 53.45. Second, the skill of writing exposition text after using the discovery learning model assisted by audiovisual media of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang is in a qualification of more than enough with an average score of 70.11. Third, based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H_1) is received at a significant level of 95% and the degree of freedom (dk) = n-1 because of tcount> t table, which is 4.79> 1.70. This means that there is a significant influence on the use of discovery learning models assisted by audiovisual media on the exposition writing skills of eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Discovery Learning, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article has written the contribution of appreciative reading  skill of fable story text to the skills of producing fable story texts at  students VIII class of SMPN 12 Padang. This research is quantitative research using the descriptive method and the contribution research design. The research data is the test result score of appreciative reading  skill of fable story text and the test result score of reproducing fable story text. The data has obtained through two types of test that are the objective test which uses reproducing fable story text . Based on the result of data analysis and the discussion, the researcher concludes the three things follow; first, the average score of the student’ reading appreciative reading  skill of fable story text at students VIII class of SMPN 12 Padang is in the good qualification (82.01). Second, the average score of the student’ reproducing fable story text students at VIII class of SMPN 12 Padang is in the good qualification (79,17). Third, there are the significant contributions between the appreciative reading  skill of fable story text toward the students reproducing fable story text students at VIII class of SMPN 12 padang as much as 84,82%.   Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan, Membaca Apresiatif, Mereproduksi, Teks Cerita Fabel

Abstract

 ABSTRACT This research was conducted to describe the structure and linguistic elements of the description text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 30 Padang. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive method. The data of this study are qualitative data in the form of structure and linguistic elements of the student's description text. The data are analyzed by steps, namely (1) the researcher identifies the general elements contained in the description text, (2) analyzes the essay based on the aspects studied, namely the structure and linguistic elements of the student's description text, (3) the results of the analysis the researcher examined by triangulation informants, (4) make conclusions. Based on the results of the study, two things are summarized as follows. First, in writing the description text the seventh grade students of Padang Public Middle School 30 have used both text structures. The two text structures are identification/general description and description of parts. This is evident from the 40 description texts that have been analyzed, there are 39 complete description texts using identification/general description and part descriptions. Second, in terms of language, the seventh grade students of Padang Public Middle School 30 still have errors. This is evident from the 422 sentences analyzed, there were 281 sentences and the EBI was incorrect.   Kata kunci: Struktur Teks, Unsur Kebahasaan, Teks Deskripsi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the listening skills of class VIII interview at SMP Negeri 23 Padang. Second, describing the news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of listening skills to interviews with news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was Class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 51 students. The research data were test scores on interview listening skills and news text writing skills test scores. The research instrument was an objective test to measure interview listening skills and performance tests to measure news text writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, the writing text skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang are in more than enough qualifications. Secondly, listening to interview skills is more than adequate. Third, listening skills interviewed were correlated at 7,41 with news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang.                Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Menyimak Wawancara, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, it describes the skills of reading comprehension text story fantasy grade VII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Second, describing a fantasy story text writing skills grade VII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Third, describe the contribution of the reading comprehension skills of fantasy with story text write text stories fantasy grade VII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design contribution. This research population is grade VII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP are registered on the 2018/2019 school year, that is, 85 students. The sample in this research is determined using the purposive sampling of the population, i.e., 59 students. Research data is a score test results intermediate reading comprehension text story fantasy and score the writing skills test result text story fantasy. Research instrument is an objective test to measure the skills of reading comprehension text story fantasy and performance tests to measure the writing skills text story fantasy. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of writing fantasy stories text grade VII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP are on more than enough qualifications (LdC). Second, the skills of reading comprehension text story fantasy grade VII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP are on more than enough qualifications (LdC). Abstract

ABSTRACT This article has been writing techniques influence modeling text writing skills against the complex procedure of grade XI 1 — Tapan. This research is quantitative research with quasi experiment method of the one group pretest-postest design. The data in this study is the writing skills test score of complex procedure text grade XI 1 — Tapan before and after using the technique of modeling. The data obtained through test performance.  Based on the results of data analysis, researchers concluded three things here; First, complex procedure text writing skills of students of Class XI 1 — Tapan before using the techniques of modelling are at Sufficient qualifications (62.02). Second, complex procedure text writing skills of students of Class XI — 1 using the technique of modeling after the Tapan is at Good qualifications (78.57). Third, based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) are accepted on the degrees of confidence and degrees of freedom (dk) = (n-1) because thitung > ttabel (7.10 > 1.70). In other words, modeling techniques to complex procedures text writing skills of students of Class XI 1 — Tapan. Kata kunci: Teknik Pemodelan, Pengaruh, Keterampilan, Teks Prosedur Kompleks
