Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the description of the prestige of urban recreation in Almira Bastari's Resign novel; (2) describe the description of the instant life culture of urban communities in Almira Bastari's Resign; (3) describe the description of the virtual lifestyle of urban communities in Almira Bastari's Resign; (4) describe the description of the individualist lifestyle of urban society in Almira Bastari's Resign novel. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. Based on the results of data analysis obtained; (1) the recreational prestige of urban community leaders in Almira Bastari's Resign includes education, employment, entertainment venues visited, and restaurants visited; (2) the instant life culture of urban communities depicted in Almira's Resign in general coming to fast food restaurants; (3) the individualist lifestyle of urban society in Almira Bastari's Resign as if it had never been separated from technology and communication in everyday life. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the reflection of violence contained in the Penyair Merah Putih works Mardhiyan Novita MZ. The findings of this study include three related to the reflection of violence, namely: (1) the forms of violence against prominent reflection in the form of: (a) physical violence, beating, kicking and slapping, (b) psychological abuse, harass, threaten, and humiliate contained in the Penyair Merah Putih works Mardhiyan Novita MZ, (2) the causes of violence reflect misunderstanding main character and additional characters, (3) due to the onset of violence against the victim's reflection in the form of physical injuries and mental disabilities are perceived by the figures contained in the novel Penyair Merah Putih works Mardhiyan Novita MZ.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the structure, category, and function of the public puzzle in Nagari Koto Aur Malintang III Eastern District of IV Koto Aur Malintang Padang Pariaman district. This study uses qualitative descriptive form. Sources of data in this research puzzle community in Nagari Koto Aur Malintang III Eastern District of IV Koto Aur Malintang Padang Pariaman district. Based on the research results, puzzles society in Nagari Koto Aur Malintang III East, we can conclude the following. First, the structure of the puzzle consists of elements (descriptive) and the picture element (referent)answers. Second, based on the nature of things depicted in question, the category of puzzle community in Nagari III Koto Aur Malintang East can be grouped into four, namely: (1) equality with man found 25 of the 60 puzzle, (2) equality with animals found 8 of 60 puzzles, (3) the equation with the found objects 13 of 60 puzzles, and (4) equations with plants found 14 of the 60 puzzles. Third, Puzzle has three functions, namely the function to deliver education, training functions of the intellect, and function as entertainment.Keywords: Structure, category, and function

Abstract

written in problems is this thesis is “Islamic religious aspects related to aqidah, Syariah and morals are reflected in the behavior of the characters in the novel My Name Naura Goddess Alfina work. Theory used in this study are as follows: (1) the nature of the literary wor, (2) novel, (3) a novel structure, (4) the scope of Islamic values. Research finding is as follows. (1) Islamic religious value in the novel My Name Naura on Aqeedah scope contained in Naura Goddess figures are: (a) God expects Rida, (b) believe that Allah is decisive and (c) belief God is giving instructions. Mohammed Fariz figures are in line with the Aqeedah is expecting the pleasure of Allah, believes God is decisive. The value contained in the aqidah side character named Nayla is learning Al - quran (2) In terms of Shari'ah contained on Naura Goddess figures are: (a) remembrance, (b) fasting (c) the prayer, and (d) istigfar. The value contained in the aqidah side character named Roby is prayer, went to the holy land. (3) The terms of the character contained in Naura Goddess figures are: (a) to say hello, (b) grateful, (c) beg forgiveness of Allah, (d) courtesy, (e) welcome the month of Ramadan, and (f) help. Mohammed Fariz figure that is in line with the character greetings, praying for others. Thes figures are in line with the morals Nayla is the character greetings, praying for others. The figures are in line with the morals Nayla is (a) never qive up, (b) play an accompaniment Rabbanablessings.

Abstract

This research aims to; (a) describe the episode of Ahmad Tohari's Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel; (b) describing the film episode of the Dancer by director Ifa Isfansyah; (c) describes a comparison of the story of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel by Ahmad Tohari with the film The Dancer Director by Ifa Isfansyah, this type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data of this study are episodes of the story of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk's novel by Ahmad Tohari and the film Sang Penari Director by Ifa Isfansyah. Data collection techniques are carried out in three stages. The first stage was reading Ahmad Tohari's Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk karya novel, then proceeding to watch the film The Dancer's Director Ifa Isfansyah. The second stage is the data collection stage about the episode story of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel by Ahmad Tohari and the film Sang Penari directed by Ifa Isfansyah's work collected through recording and observation techniques. The third stage is the stage of inventorying data into a data inventory format. Based on the results of research episodes in novels and films found a number of different episodes. The story episodes in the novel are found in 51 episodes, while in the film there are 46 episodes of the story. In the film there are 9 episodes of story episodes added, and 24 episodes of story episodes reduction, while novel episodes that experience varied changes after being screened as a film, found in 7 episodes. This happened because of the creativity of the director when adapting the novel to the film.     Keywords: ecranization, novel, film

Abstract

This article was written to: (a) present the description of the manuscript about translation and change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh text, and (b) present change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh.This research is a philology research. The object of this article were translation and change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh text. This manuscript was collection of Aceh Museum. The method used in this article tailored to the stage of research. At the stage of data collection used method literature study and field study method. At the stage of description of the manuscript used descriptive method. At the stage of transliteration used trasliteration method. At the stage of change language used change language method.The result of this research was in the form of presentation of text that can be read and can be understood by the today’s public about translation and change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh text. The result of this research also present the text that has been adapted to Ejaan bahasa Indonesia (EBI). This manuscript tells about a prayer to issue a star, the language of the body, and tells about how to sakaratul maut began. In the manuscript about Bunga Rampai Aceh text there was a vocabulary that shows many variety of old Malay language in it. Abstract

This study is purposed to describe social structure and function of prohibitive proverb toward human body and traditional medicine in the community of Kenagarian Tanjuang Alam district Tanah Datar regency. The type of this study is qualitative with descriptive method. This study was conducted by analysis of study object with following steps: 1) described structure of community’s believe on prohibitive proverb, 2) described function of community’s believe on prohibitive proverb. Based on data analysis that had been conducted, it was obtained that people believe on prohibitive proverb toward human body and traditional medicine in the community of Kenagarian Tanjuang Alam district Tanah Datar regency has 41 proverbs. These proverbs consisted of 22 double-structures and 16 triple-structures which is the conversion located in the middle of sentence and 3 proverbs have its conversion in the end of sentence. In people believe on prohibitive proverb there are 6 proverbs that functioned to increase faith, 7 proverbs are functioned to project imagination, 19 proverbs are functioned to educate, and 41 proverbs are functioned to prohibit and one proverbs is are functioned to entertain.Keywords: structure, social function, believe, prohibitive proverb

Abstract

This article aims to (a) describe the structure of mantra “pambarasiah diri“ (b) supporting aspects incantations mantra “pambarasiah diri”, (c) the process of inheritance mantra “pambarasiah diri” in the Kelurahan Korong Gadang Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Data collected by interview using dictation techniques. The study's findings are mantra “pambarasiah diri” structure it self consists of opening, contents and cover. Supporting aspects incantations consists of (1) time: free, there is no provision read in the mantra, (2) where: there is that does not require a special place, and there can not read the mantra but at home, (3) events: when the shaman and the patient has to deal or face to face, (4) actors: shaman himself, (5) equipment: water bottle, al-quran, coconut oil, flowers seven-way, (6) clothing: depends shaman, there is a free and anyone cloth gloves and clothes in white, and (7) rendition mantra: mantra was read slowly and with concentration. While the process of succession mantra or mantra intended for the recipient or beneficiary. Each shaman has individual requirements, there are bathing in the river, paraded or meditate.

Abstract

This article was written to describe (1) the type of speech act illocutionary in caricature Tan Baro on Daily newspaper Singgalang, (2) types of strategies are spoken caricature Tan Baro on Daily newspaper Singgalang, and (3) the context of the use of strategies recalled in caricature Tan Baro on Daily newspaper Singgalang. This research data is a caricature figure of speech that number Tan Baro 75 utterances of 24 caricature used source of research data are Singgalang Daily newspaper published on Sunday. Data retrieved by collecting all the utterances in caricature Tan Baro on Singgalang Daily newspaper. Analyzing data this studi by transcribing the data, identify, classify, and concludes the description of the data by type of illocutionary speech act, type of strategy speak, and context of use strategies narrate. The research findings are, (1) the type of speech act illocutionary the most widely used is the speech act is representative, (2) type of strategy speak the most widely used is bald on record with the preamble of politeness, and (3) context of use strategy tells consists of, (a) in the context of the speaker acts said to those who more older or higher status and are already familiar tends to use the strategy speak frankly with strings attached politeness positive, (b) in the context of the speaker acts said to the younger people and already familiar tends to use the bald on record strategy. Keywords: speech act, illocutionary, caricature, Tan Baro, newspaper, Singgalang Daily.
