Abstract

Creativity is one of the natural potentials in children that must be developed optimally. Creativity itself is grown in the right brain, the brain that has the specification of thinking, processing data about feelings, emotions, art and music. All children born in the world must have a side of creativity but in different levels. The low level of child creativity is influenced by two things: genetic factors (congenital birth) and environmental factors. This creativity will grow optimally if both factors are well integrated. Children's creativity will be able to be nurtured through play activities so that the child will be a creative and innovative person. Creativity will lead to the development of children's potential. For this reason, children's creativity is important to be stimulated through various activities that children love. In essence, early childhood is at play time. So, teachers, parents and other adults should participate more with children through play activities. Facilitate children with various media to play so that children explore more and find new things by themselves. Keywords: Creativity, Playing, Early Childhood

Abstract

The Islamic hereditary law, which has been regulated in the Islamic law resources (manshush), has been raising a polemic. Some Moslem scholars regarded the nash as ta’abbudi and therefore cannot be interfered, while others saw such concept of ta’abbudi is a deviation from the basic nature as well as the main goal of syari’ah. Through this, the claim that nash is not reasonable and reconceivable has fell. This lattest thing is urgently emphasized in order to revitalize the spirit of syari’ah in the human life. This working paper explores the essential mission of Islamic hereditary law in the historical point of view, beginning from the pre-Islamic era to the modern society. Abstract

This article aims at discussing the correlation between human being and science. Science itself is also defined as the process of thinking to acquire knowledge. As time pasts, the human being has gone through many ways to reveal the truth. Those ways are (1) experience, (2) authority, (3) deductive reasoning, (4) inductive reasoning and (5) scientific approach. A scientific approach is the most appropriate way to seek the universal truth. There are two major ideas regarding the source of the truth. The rationalists say that the truth comes from reasoning (human ratio). Meanwhile, the empirics say that the truth comes from empirical experiences of the human senses. Some other ideas such as the idea of insight vision and intuition are not yet sufficient regarded as the source of the general truth. According to Sidi Gazalba, Science is divided into six (6) categories, namely (1) practical, (2) normative practical, (3) normative positive, (4) ideographic speculative, (5) nomothetic speculative and (6) theoretic speculative. In addition, three are three criteria of the universal truth, namely (1) the theory of coherent, (2) the theory of correspondence and (3) the theory of pragmatism. The scientific methodology is principally a way to arrive at the universal truth which elaborates the deductive and inductive reasoning. Keywords: Human Being, Science, Knowledge, Scientific Method

Abstract

The people of Tengger are known as a strong society in upholding the essential values of the sublime as the inheritance of the ancestors. The development of the tourism industry (especially Mount Bromo Peak), does not affect the Tengger community in implementing the socio-cultural values that exist. This persistency is seemly caused by the process of institutionalization of the values in this unique community. The institutionalization process of socio-cultural values in Tengger society is inseparable from the role of socialization of the socio-cultural values itself, both from government leaders, adat leaders, and family leaders. The process of institutionalizing values to society passes through several stages including the "known, understood, obeyed and valued" stage. The process of knowledge of socio-cultural values of citizens is done through learning from parents since they leave juveniles. Routine activities undertaken by parents indirectly will tend to be known and then very likely to be learned by the child. Keywords: Tengger society, values, institutionalization, socio-cultural

Abstract

Ibn Taymiyyah is known as the inspiration of the Wahhabi movement that aims to the purification of the teachings of Islam. This movement departs from the separation between the ‘ub?diyyah and un-‘ub?diyyah teachings, which are also inspired by Ibn Taymiyyah's thought. In 'ib?dah, Ibn Taymiyyah holds the rule that as long as there is no ordered argument it should not be done. However, the notion of ib?dah according to Ibn Taymiyyah is not limited to mahdlah worship but more broadly. Whereas in mu'?malah, he holds the rule of allowing doing anything as long as there is no prohibition against it. In shaping the concept of 'ib?dah and mu'?malah, at first, Ibn Taymiyyah accepted it as something normative from the thought of Ahmad ibn Hanbal. But when he saw the social reality with the number of deviations' in ib?dah done by Muslims, the concept that has been obtained normatively from the thought of Ahmad ibn Hanbal is reaffirmed and expanded to become a sociological concept, in addition to being normative. Keywords: Ibn Taymiyyah, concept, ‘ib?dah, mu’?malah

Abstract

The conception of maqhasid al shari'ah is the concept of Islamic law in maintaining the existence of human life, which is manifested in the form of the existence of the benefit of mankind. Most of fiqih experts value the principle of benefit as one of the shari'a propositions that can be used as a basis for law enforcement, fatwa or court decision. In the books of fiqih easily can be found laws that are only based on legal matters of kemaslahatan or remove damage. The Sahabahs as the generation who best understands the Shari'a are the most widely used the principle of benefit as a back, many of their actions are in accordance with the principle of this benefit. Abstract

Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism (KKN) are social diseases that have long infected the nation and state of Indonesia. This paper conveys the social movement theory in the effort to create a government free from KKN through strengthening the role of masyarakat madani (civil society). The Jenkins and Klandermans’ diagram of the relationship of social movements with the state and the political system illustrates the problem of a three-way relationship between social movements, political representation and the state. The issue is the extent to which opportunities represented by political representatives in social movements, the impact of social protests on political parties and official political processes, as well as the implications of these relations in modern democracies. In this case, the social movement's chances through the 1998 reforms have been able to undermine the authoritarian New Order regime, a good start for the creation of democracy in Indonesia. However, it turns out that KKN disease that has been rooted to create systemic corruption (institutional entry) creates its own difficulties in eradication. Civil society as an alternative to social forces should be encouraged to play a role in solving the chaotic reform of the Indonesian bureaucracy. The role of civil society through NGOs, intellectuals, students, workers or labours, mass organizations, religious leaders, social media, press and other elements of society are expected to make the government more assertive in enforcing the law and crack down on KKN actors according to MPR XI / 1998, Anti-Corruption Law, as well as other supporting regulations that have been created. Law enforcement agencies, including POLRI, KPK, Judicial Commission are expected to play a role. This is of course with the participation of civil society as a control force that offsets the strength of government in upholding truth and justice. Keywords: civil society, social movements, KKN (Corruption, Collusion, and Nepotism), clean government.

There are at least three types of Pesantren in Indonesia; Traditional Pesantren (salaf), Modern Pesantren (khalaf/'Ashr?), Comprehensive Pesantren (sy?mil?). Besides introducing Pesantren as an educational institution, the author also expressed various thoughts about the education system; regarding the functions, developing the potential, revitalizating of modeling systems, cultural maintenance, and high scientific culture. Abstract

Subject competency standards can be defined as "statements about knowledge, skills and attitudes that must be mastered, and the level of mastery that is expected to be achieved in learning a subject". The competency standard is a framework that explains the basic development of a structured learning program. The subject competency standard is also the focus of the assessment, so the curriculum development process is the focus of the assessment, although the curriculum contains more of the knowledge, skills and attitudes document than evidence to show that learners who have learned have early knowledge and skills. The main factors of successful learners in mastering the subject competency standard are as follows: learners’ high intelligence level, motivation, interest in learning, their present at school, their health, and well attitude, as well as attention from their parents. Meanwhile, teachers should use appropriate methods for their learners, master learning strategies, and be professional as teachers. Keywords: Success, Learners, Competencies
