Abstract

Suwaru is a village in Gondanglegi Malang with Christian and Islamic population, in which some people conduct interfaith marriages by carrying out religious conversions in advance for the sake of marriage legalization. This study focuses on the factors that cause religious conversion to legalize marriage to the people in this Village and examine the perspective of Islamic law on such religious conversion. The results showed that the factors causing religious conversion as a means of legalizing interfaith marriages are public ignorance of the religious law, pregnancy outside marriage, an influence of relations with religious traditions, economic factors, educational factors, administrative factors and love factors. As for interfaith marriages according to the perspective of Islamic law, there are actually three categories, namely; marriage between a Muslim man and a polytheist; marriage between a Muslim man and a woman of ahl al-kit?b; and the marriage between a Muslim woman and a non-Muslim man (musyrik or ahl al-kit?b). Whereas religious conversion is used to legalize interfaith marriages, which in Islamic law is also called h?lah (legal engineering), cannot be justified because it clearly violates existing provisions. Abstract

Learning is a very essential human need. Learning can develop human potency, both physical and spiritual. Learning is also an obligation that must be done by every human being. Approach in the learning process is needed so that students can get useful knowledge. From this background the writer will discuss it in an article entitled "Approach in the Learning Process: A Study of the book Ayyuh? al-Walad”. In this essay, the author tries to analyze al-Ghaz?l?'s thinking as the main reference material, arguing that al-Ghaz?l? is well-known as a very influential figure in Islamic education. From the discussion, it can be conveyed that the approach in the learning process to obtain useful knowledge, according Al-Ghaz?l?’s Ayyuh? al-Walad, is an approach that is full of divine nuances. This is evidenced by his view that valuable learning is if it for the sake of getting closer to God, motivation in learning must be in order to revive the Prophet's Shari'ah and subdue lust, students must maintain the sanctity of their souls, and students must practice the knowledge they obtain. The factors that determine success in the learning process of Imam al-Ghaz?l?'s perspective in the book Ayyuh? al-Walad are motivational factors, educators, curriculum, student attitudes, heart purity, and social environment.

Abstract

Management of an educational institution is the main activity that distinguishes one institution from another in providing services to humans in the field of education. The success of educational institutions in achieving the goals of education and social responsibility is largely determined by the functions carried out by every education manager. Therefore an education manager is required to master management practices. In the Islamic boarding school leadership environment is still held by the clerics but in organizing there are parts themselves, so that the movement and progress of the development of the pesantren will be better. The combination of the salaf and modern management system will result in the management of Islamic education that is very reliable and can keep up with the times, and does not miss other countries in the education system, even better and better.

Abstract

The style of the principal's leadership in developing educational institutions has three models: the authoritarian type (autocratic style of leadership), the type of laissez faire (laissez faire style of leadership), and the democratic type (democratic style of leadership). The most ideal type is the third one. The three models are seen in the principal's task which includes two domains, namely the administrative domain and the supervision shutter. In the administrative area, the task of the principal is related to the activities of providing, regulating, maintaining, completing material facilities and personnel of the school. Whereas as a supervisor, the principal is tasked with providing guidance on supervision and assessment of problems related to technical management and the development of education and teaching to create a better situation and education. Islam is religion in which all the values be based on God’s revelation that subsequently interacts with human culture. Rasionalism which focus on using of brain as tool to comprehend on God’s command being newcomer to effort comprehend of religion. Islamic rasionalize, progresive is unsaperated part from the religious history in Indonesia. Islamic thought in Indonesia was began in 1970s by Nurcholis Madjid. Others brainware as became pioneer from the appear of Indonesia Islamic thought is Abdurrahman Wahid in 1980s. Harun Nasution, Moeslim Abdurrahman are influential figure in Indonesia islamic thought context. Islamic thought which was pioneered by the several figure then was becoming as background from appeared ofislamic liberal as long as very controversial thought among muslim society. But the thougt becoming a part of dynamic Indonesia Islamic thougt as new pattern or new over in islamic world, Especially an over to observe islamic to be more rasional. Using of rasio in this idea was becoming a special characteristic, however using of brain was pointed to bring islamic from thought deterioration.

Abstract

The discussion of the contents of the Qur'an surah Al-'Alaq verses 1 to 5 relating to Islamic education provides a clear picture of several things, among others: First, the core explanation in the surah Al-'Alaq provides information concerning the issue of divine knowledge, nature and humans. Second, in general, the content of educational values in the sura is a reflection of the understanding, goals, methods and basis of education. In this surah there is also a very basic relationship between aqidah (tauhid), and human (intellectual) skills which accumulate in the words iqra’ and ism rabbik. Implicitly, these two words reflect the existence of an important pillar in education which should be the foundation for every human being when seeking knowledge or even for the management of educational institutions. The word iqra’ is a symbol of activity processes that lead to ways to improve the mind intelligence of the mind and to develop the potential of human beings. Through the word iqra’ in this surah, Allah SWT is reminding everyone that the potential in the form of reason that has been given needs to be empowered. One of the most important educational values contained in these verses is a sign of the importance of reading, and information about the birth of new knowledge that has not been known before with such reading activities. While the word ism rabbik in this surah teaches the value of character education (khuluqiyah), so that the process of fostering, planting, and teaching that is done by humans is based on the belief in the manifestation of God Almighty. That way, all kinds of dynamics in the realm of education, including problems involving success or failure, are always repatriated to the will of Allah SWT and His power, so that the problems that arise do not cause anxiety, let alone despair.

Abstract

Culturally, Indonesian society is indeed very thick with patriarchal customs. Patriarchy is a concept used in the social sciences, especially in Anthropology. The concept of patriarchy and violence against women is the main discussion in this paper. Patriarchal culture has for generations shaped differences in behavior, status and authority between men and women, the distribution of male power has advantages over women in one or more aspects, such as the determination of lineage (exclusive patrilineal descent and carrying a last name), rights of firstborn children, personal autonomy in social relations, and participation in public and political status. Men monopolize all roles. The unequal relationship often creates conflicts within the community, especially conflicts within the household that lead to acts of violence against women.

Abstract

Thomas Kuhn's idea of ??the scientific revolution contained in his magnum opus has become a new face in the development and birth of science. It starts from normal science that experiences anomalies and raises crises, so it needs to be attempted for the occurrence of shifting paradigm, by shifting the old paradigm with a new paradigm, which eventually gives birth to a scientific revolution. This Kuhn thought has relevance to various fields, such as nahw. Nahw as the grammatical Arabic language contains philosophical elements, which make it a complex language. In this context, nahw as a normal science cannot overcome the existing problems, so a crisis is born. The crisis received attention by several Arabic language experts, such as Ibn Madl?`, Syauq? Dlaif, and Tam?m Hasan. They assumed there is one factor that makes nahw complicated, namely the concept of ‘?mil. Therefore, for them, nahw needs to be reconstructed and renewed. Construction of nahw with new faces contained in each magnum opus, Ibn Madl?` in his book "Kit?b al-Radd ‘al? al-Nuh?t", Syauq? Dlaif in "Tajd?d al-Nahw ", and Tam?m Hasan in "al-‘Arabiyyah: Ma'n?h? wa Mabn?h?". In all three books, nahw experienced a great revolution.

Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of the application of Quantum Learning and Quantum Teaching models to the ability to understand mathematical concepts of class VIII students of Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar Middle School IT. This study aims to (1) determine the students' understanding of mathematical concepts taught by applying the Quantum Learning model; (2) knowing the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by applying the Quantum Teaching model; (3) knowing the significant difference between the ability to understand mathematical concepts through the application of the Quantum Learning model with the Quantum Teaching model. The approach of this research is quantitative with the type of Quasi Experiment with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study were students of Class VIII B2 and Class VIII B3 which were 60 people out of the total number of students of class VIII 120 people. The research instrument used was a matter of testing the ability to understand mathematical concepts, observation sheets and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that: (1) the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by applying the Quantum Learning model had increased; (2) the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by applying Quantum Teaching models has increased; (3) there is a significant difference between the ability to understand mathematical concepts through the application of the Quantum Learning model with the Quantum Teaching model.

Abstract

Islamic education is the development of the mind, structuring behavior, emotional arrangements, and human relations in the world that allows his life in accordance with Islamic ideology. The aim is to achieve the qualities mentioned by the Qur'an and Hadith. This research is a research library research, then the data collection technique used in this research is literary data collection, namely by collecting coherent library materials with a research focus. The results of the study, namely that Hamka showed a harmonious relevance between religious and public sciences. The existence of religion is not only legitimizing the existing social system, but also needs to pay attention and control human behavior well.
