Abstract

This paper aims to investigate whether foreign interest rate determines Islamic stock prices vis-à-vis domestic interest rate. The method applied is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to Indonesian data from January 2008 to June 2018. The study found a long-run negative relationship between foreign interest rate with both Islamic and conventional stock prices. Additionally, foreign interest rate is more important than domestic interest rate in determining the price of both types of stocks. Although Islamic stocks are affected by foreign interest rate dynamics, they are less responsive to changes of the Libor than conventional equities. In addition, it is found that GDP, money supply and real exchange rate has a long-run positive relation with both stock price. Thus, although Islamic equity prices are not insulated against foreign interest rates, they are less responsive to international financial markets movements than conventional stocks. For policy, authorities should pay close attention to foreign interest rate dynamics. While policy makers and fund managers in a dual capital market can use Islamic stocks to provide cushion against dynamics of international funds market.

To assist in data analysis using sem-pls with PLS-4 application. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between halal awareness, halal certification and attitudes towards consumer buying behavior which is mediated by purchase intention. In addition, for a direct relationship between halal certification and attitudes toward buying behavior, a positive and significant effect was found. Interestingly, it was found that halal awareness has no significant effect on consumer buying behavior. Abstract

This study aims to identify the transmission of Islamic and conventional monetary policy through the interest rate channel, credit channel, and exchange rate channel to inflation in Indonesia using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). VECM estimates show that all variables in the short term have no effect on inflation. The results of the Impulse-Response Function (IRF) show that all variables in the model are able to stabilize the inflation rate within three to seven months, while stabilizing real sector growth takes four to eight months. The results of the Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD) show that Total Conventional Banking Credit (CRED) has the most influence on inflation, while Bank Indonesia Certificate (SBI) is the variable that has the most influence on the real sector. Sharia monetary instruments play a big role in controlling inflation, but the effect is not as big as conventional monetary instruments. So that the relevant authorities are expected to develop more sharia monetary instruments based on the real sector based on underlying assets in order to be able to strengthen their influence on inflation.

The purpose of this research is to determine the perception and attitude of café visitors towards these three factors and provide alternative strategies that can be used in developing a café business. This study was a quantitative study using a descriptive approach The aspects analyzed were accessibility, distance, panoramic beauty, environmental cleanliness, environmental neatness, taste of dishes, cleanliness of dishes, variety of menus, neatness of presentation, content of promotion, types of promotional media, variations of promotional media, and frequency of promotion. The results of the analysis show that visitors' perceptions and attitudes towards business location, product quality, and promotion are at a Good/Positive level but with an average value that is close to the lower limit of the good level value. Business location is a key factor in the success of café business in Sembalun Area with the highest perception and attitude values. In addition, promotion is a very crucial factor because it has the lowest perception and attitude values.
