Abstract

Interpretation through interpretation is a human effort to explore his highest ability in understanding a verse so that he can understand well what is meant by Allah ta'ala verse. The effort is not easy, indeed, because every word written or spoken is only well understood by the owner. Thus, the truth that results from any interpretation is not absolute. For this purpose, the interpreter of the Qur'an takes a certain methodology to interpret it, especially in determining the source or reference to be used for interpretation. The diversity of these forms can be seen from the resulting interpretation. Sources and forms of interpretation developed along with the periodization of Muslims in understanding the Qur'an, starting from the first period from the time of the Prophet Muhammad, companions, and tabiin. Then continued the second period after tabi'n.

Abstract

Proverbs of the Qur'an are very important to be studied and understood in more depth because as an effort to understand or react to the supernatural to conclude the verses of the Qur'an which have words in each sentence that are very beautiful but have meaning. which is very deep, beautiful and sturdy, which encourages every human being to do everything according to his interests and desires. Amtsal also provides advice and warnings to humans, so Amtsal has a very important role in education because actually education itself contains advice and warnings in every implementation.

Abstract

The understanding of religious moderation (Wasaṭiyah) contained in the Qur'an is important, especially when faced with situations that are considered far from justice and contain extremist values. With this situation, the scholars, especially the commentators, gave a special understanding of the teachings of religious moderation by relying on the Qur'an to respond and be a solution so as not to contract the disease of extremism. However, the problem is that not all interpretations are considered moderately oriented, one of which is the interpretation of Fî Ẓilāl Al-Qur’an, even Sayyid Quṭub as the author is considered one of the main inspirations of all extreme actions in the name of Islam. The purpose of this study is to review and criticize interpretations related to religious moderation (Wasaṭiyah) from the side of people who are considered not moderate in terms of the extreme values ​​contained in it. This study uses a descriptive-analytical method with a character study approach. The conclusion of this study is that Sayyid Quṭub understands that religious moderation (Wasaṭiyah) is the essence of Islamic teaching itself. There are at least two main aspects of religious moderation (Wasaṭiyah) contained in surah al-Baqarah verse 143, namely aspects of faith and politics. According to him, the only moderate creed and politics is Islamic creed and politics, which must be applied equally on earth, while the rest are jahiliyah beliefs and politics which are far from justice. From the above understanding, several extreme values ​​were found, including the attitude of takfirism towards other Muslims, the attitude of monopolizing politics in only one religion, and the concept of jihad in the form of violence for the sake of the implementation of the political ideology he believed in.

Abstract

The reality of changing times that continue to move dynamically in several countries, especially in Indonesia, has a significant impact on the decline of moral values. Various changes and developments of the times affect the styles and patterns of human life today. In this era of social media not only has a positive impact but also has a negative impact. Through this paper, the author will try to further analyze the dimensions of hidfz ad-din in the story of Luqman Al-Hakim in the Qur'an of Luqman verses 13-19 and how these educational values ​​can be implemented in the current era of social media. To carry out this analysis, the author will use a maqashidi interpretation approach which will seek to reveal the maqashid dimensions and qur'ani values ​​in the Qur'an Surah Luqman verses 13-19. In this study, the author will try to highlight the story of Luqman Al-Hakim using a maqashidi interpretation approach to find the maqashid behind Luqman al-Hakim's advice to his son. The author hypothesizes that Luqman al-Hakim's advice contains educational principles that are important to reveal and develop as an educational model offer to face the era of social media as it is today. In the Qur'an letter Luqman verses 13-19 the author understands that Luqman Al-Hakim's advice is important to be applied to the education system. From some of the advice contained in it, there are 3 big points, namely: aqidah education, worship education and moral education.

Abstract

In a pluralistic community where society is divided by beliefs, social class, culture and religion, disagreements or differences of opinion always arise. Disagreements arise due to the fact that there are many different views or philosophies of life and do not match one another. Hannah Arendt is a philosopher who is very challenging for anyone who intends to study her political philosophy. This is because he did not write something that represents a systematic political philosophy, where a main argument is explained and developed in a sequential manner starting from general themes that are always associated with political philosophy, such as authority, state, power, sovereignty, government system. Specifically, Arendt initiated the theory of action. To speak of Action theory is to enter into the central space of Arendt's political thought. The common thread of action as something that is inherent in every individual lies in the representation of the vita active (active life) and the realization of the fundamental human form as contained in Arendt's book Human Condition, namely work, work, and action. According to Hannah Arendt, preventive measures to suppress conflict do not occur, namely when public spaces can be built with openness to one another or in Hannah Arendt's theory it is called the act of communication.

Abstract

The methods used by Muslims in understanding divine revelation are very diverse. Various methods have been devised by humans in order to understand the Qur'an as a book of guidance from Allah, ranging from the classical to the contemporary. Among the books of interpretation produced by ancient scholars is Tafsir At Tabari, this interpretation is seen as one of the pioneers in the world of interpretation science and is seen as the first interpretation that interprets the Qur'an in its entirety from the Surah Al -Fatihah until the letter An-Nas which reached us with a bi al-ma'thur approach which was accompanied by analysis. Among the main points of study of scholars in Arabic literature is discussing the pronunciations that cover various aspects of it. In general, pronunciations can be seen from four aspects that both have special studies. First, the aspect of making pronunciation. Second, its use in meaning. Third, the designation of the pronunciation for a meaning involves its clarity and vagueness. And lastly, the way it is pointed to meaning. In fact, there are pronunciations or sentences that are easy to understand and some are difficult. Both are popular with the terms Wadih ad-Dalalah (obvious) and Khafi al-Dalalah (disguised). And each category consists of four sections.

and will not even stop to be studied. The exploitation of science from it does not only stop among Muslim scholars, even Orientalists are very amazed and amazed to see the potential in the Quran. Tosihiko Izutsu is one of the Japanese orientalists who tries to study the meaning of the Qur'an by mnegusung semantic jargon to bring out the meaning in the quran without intimidating the meaning that is desired by apalagai following the intention of the eater or interpreter. In this study, the researcher used the study of the Literature study by collecting data from various sources to express Izutsu's thoughts in revealing the meaning of the Quran. By giving the first conclusion: the meaning in the koran cannot be forced into fulfilling the original message conveyed secondly: the semantic method offered by Izutsu is very relevant to find the meaning offered by the koran.

Abstract

This research contributes to explaining the contextualization of meaning in the Qur'an so that Muslims do not misunderstand the textual understanding and even understanding that is far from the truth. This study uses the theory of linguistic behaviorism pioneered by Bloomfield, this paper can also add to the treasures of knowledge related to the linguistic meaning of the Qur'an, especially with regard to the description of the reward in the Qur'an which was very attractive to Arab society at that time, thus many of them converted to Islam. After the author conducted an analysis of the Qur'anic verses that describe the reward with all its pleasures, the author found three main stimuli related to the condition of Arab society so that it gave rise to linguistic responses in the form of a reward description, namely: the socio-cultural situation of the community, portraits of royal life, and Arab geography.

Abstract

The story of the Prophet Yusuf has always been studied in several aspects, namely aspects of linguistics, educational education, modern literature, and literary psychology. The focus of this research is on the climax of the story contained in verse 23, which tells the story of Prophet Yusuf's rejection of imra'at al-Aziz. This study uses a maqasi>di interpretation approach, an interpretive method that focuses or emphasizes the maqasi>d aspects of the Qur'an. Tafsir maqa>sidi in the verses of the story can be done by doing tadabbur (reflection) and analyzing badi' tauriyyah. The result of this study is the discovery of aspects of maqasid hifd al-di>n, hifd al-nafs, as well as human values ​​and responsibility.

Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk memahami Al-Qur’an adalah mempelajari Al-Qur’an yang hidup. Seperti kita ketahui bahwa selalu identik dengan tradisi dan budaya masyarakat atau respon dari mereka tentang Al-Qur’an. Tulisan ini mencoba membahas tentang procotan dan tradisi masyarakat di Kemantren Paciran Lamongan. Inilah salah satu hasil usaha para dakwah dalam menyebarkan Islam di Nusantara, khususnya di Jawa Timur. Hampir di setiap tempat, kegiatan procotan dilakukan dengan cara yang berbeda-beda. Biasanya dalam tradisi itu, masyarakat biasanya membacakan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, misalnya surah Maryam, Yusuf, dan lain-lain.
