Abstract

Various advancements and dynamics in the business world led to rapid developments in various industries. Corporate image is the main provision to survive in industrial competition. With the existence of a good corporate image, it is expected to increase brand awareness and brand attitude of the products circulating in the market. This study will examine the effect of corporate image on brand awareness and brand attitude. This study involved 100 respondents using an analytical tool in the form of simple linear regression with proof through t test. The results of the study show that the corporate's image significantly influences brand awareness and brand attitude.

Abstract

The development of a modern market and shopping centers more quickly in Indonesia could no longer avoid. The development of this phenomenon indirectly can threaten the traditional markets. To anticipate, envy and social unrest then required regulation which control modern market and required an apparent attempt to maintain and develop traditional markets in the revitalization of traditional markets. This research aims to: (1) knowledge and describe regulations modern markets that already exist, but in its implementation regulations modern markets are not aligned with the existing especially in relation to the distance between modern markets and traditional markets. (2) knowledge and describe revitalization program traditional markets to protect traditional markets in order to compete with modern market. This research adopted qualitative descriptive approaches. The research results show that the dualistic economic between a modern market with traditional markets made difficult the collaboration between them.

Abstract

This research background is the phenomenon of the role and participation of guardians of students in the field of education is very important and strategic. The success of the work performance of the Education Management is inseparable from the professional ability of the individuals involved in the activity. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the design of the social capital development model through the role and participation of POT (Parents' Association) as to Improve the Quality of Education (Study in SDI Ma’arif Plosokerep Kota Blitar), (2) To find out constraints in developing social capital through the role and participation of POT (Parents' Association) to improve quality of Education (Study at Study in SDI Ma’arif Plosokerep Kota Blitar) . The results of this study that in designing Social Capital Development Models through Role and POT Participation ( Parents Association) to Improve Education Quality in SDI Ma'arif Plosokerep Kota Blitar consists of several elements of social capital in strengthening education, among others: (1) participation in a network, (2) reciprocity, (3) trust, ( 4) social norms, (5) Proactive action, the constraints in implementing the Design of the Social Capital Development Model Through the Role and Participation of POT to Improve the Quality of Education in SDI Ma'arif Plosokerep Kota Blitar are: (1) Lack of understanding of the guardian of the importance of POT (2) Parent has an impact on / quantity of active student guardians (3) Insensity of POT meeting which is POT period meeting / meeting, (4) Not all teachers and Wali kelas comprehensively understand POT, (5) No schema and SOP for POT formation, work system and mechanism

Abstract

Based on the background of the problems described above, the authors formulated the problem in this study is how community satisfaction with public services in Gununggede Wonotirto Kabupaten Blitar. The purpose of this study was to find out how community satisfaction with public services in Gununggede Wonotirto Blitar. Based on the discussion described, it can be concluded that community satisfaction with public services in Gununggede Wonotirto Blitar is very good, and the community also felt very satisfied with the service provided by the office . Although the service can be said to be very good, but the services in Gununggede Wonotirto Blitar will continue to improve the quality of services to the village community by adding facilities and infrastructure so that the community feels comfortable and at home in Gununggede Office Wonotirto Blitar

Abstract

Indonesian foreign policy is considered as a uniqe and rare policy. This is because the main focus of Indonesian foreign policy is Free and Active. For country like Indonesia which had just got independence in 1945, the country is considered as a country with a pioneer foreign policy to stand in a non-block. Therefore, Indonesia was quite popular with non-block movement and Bandung Conference in the Cold War Period. This paper discusses Indonesian foreign policy and match its policy with underlying theory of Foreign Policies: Realism, Idealism, and Constructivism. Moreover, this essay also analyses Indonesian Foreign Policy through Middle Power Concept. Additionally, this essay also explains the practices of Indonesian Foreign Policy in current years, especially under Joko Widodo ’s Administration. Last but not least, the author also reveals Indonesian foreign policy and its relations to media, society or public opinion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen radio lokal E-demokrasi pada radio Mayangkara FM Program “Lang-Lang Kota” di Blitar. Lang-lang kota merupakan program radio yang dimiliki oleh radio Mayangkara FM untuk memfasilitasi publik agar bersuara atas pelayanan publik serta menampung aspirasi masyarakat Kota Blitar dan sekitarnya. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan cara penggalian data secara langsung kepada tim manajemen radio Mayangkara FM. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa radio Mayangkara FM telah menjalankan fungsi manajemen melalui program siaran yang telah dijalankan yang meliputi fungsi perencanaan, fungsi pengorganisasian, fungsi pelaksanaan dan fungsi pengawasan dalam program lang-lang kota siaran e-demokrasi politik lokal Kota Blitar.

Abstract

Malang Raya included Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City holds considerable tourism potential to be developed especially in the field of culinary tourism. To increase public awareness of culinary tourism in Malang, an interesting media is needed and is able to provide complete information related to the tourist destination. Today smartphone usage has never been separated from the public in the use of applications in smart phones. The internet has become a primary need for society today. This phenomenon can be used by designers to package information through culinary guide applications including street food, restaurants and cafes spread across Malang. The specific target in this study is to create a GUI (Graphical User Interface) design for mobile apps "Langlang Malang" on smart phones that aim to increase public awareness, especially among teenagers, on the diversity of culinary tourism in Malang. The long-term goal is that with the application media, people will become more familiar with culinary tourism in Malang, which in turn will encourage the interest of the wider community outside Malang to visit Malang.

Abstract

Tourism in East Java has a huge potential and need to be introduced to the wider community. To increase the user knowledge about tourism potential, we need media that can be utilized and can be reached by all groups. Illustration book is one of alternative media that can be applied. Books are media that can be interesting for children, especially because they are equipped with interesting illustrations, the using of bright color and the cuteness of character design. The use of character designs in this illustration book is a visual attraction. This research method uses descriptive qualitative method explains the character study in terms of several aspects, including iconic characters, the use of colors, the cuteness aspects of character design. This study produced a character design plan that was applied to the Heritage of East Java illustration book on the introduction of local culture in East Java. It is expected that the existence of character designs can facilitate the conveying of messages to users other than that it is expected to increase user knowledge of tourism in East Java

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the product innovation affect for purchase decision of Kuda Terbang’s Geti in UD. Mrs. Sulasmi, Kademangan. The purpose of this study is to determine how the product innovation affect for purchase decision of Kuda Terbang’s Geti in UD. Mrs. Sulasmi, Kademangan. Therefore, in order to apply these objectives quantitative methods are used, instrument testing which includes validity tests, reliability tests, assumptions classic tests which include normality tests, and hekteroskedastisitas tests, and hypothesis testing (T-Test). This research activity was carried out in UD. Mrs. Sulasmi is located in Rejowinangun, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency. The results of this study indicate that the calculated T value (0.671) < T table (2.042), while the significance value was 0.507 > 0.05. From the hypothesis that there was a significant influence between product innovation on the purchase decision was rejected (Ha was rejected and Ho was accepted), it means that there was no significant partial effect between product innovation and purchase decision of Kuda Terbang’s geti in UD. Abstract

K-Pop has become a global phenomenon. People call it Hallyu, the Korean wave which has become a major driver of global culture. It has been seen on various aspects such as drama, fashion style, makeup or skincare, and music performance. There are many Korean groups now and K-Pop agencies such as YG, JYP and SM Entertainment. BLACKPINK is one of the most famous South Korea girl groups formed by YG Entertainment. TWICE is girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. Both BLACKPINK and TWICE portrays powerful and strong concept represented in their poster album. This paper explored visual concept in BLACKPINK and TWICE poster album. Roland Barthes Semiotics analysis was conducted with qualitative approach to identify sign and symbol in order to find out the woman representation of BLACKPINK and TWICE poster album. In conclusion, it was found that BLACKPINK and TWICE poster album implemented girl power and duality concept of black and pink while TWICE implemented youth concept which has cheerful and energetic character.
